This is serious. There seems to be spirit that roamed the earth back then and it lived in the souls of people.

I came across this group by chance
I am utterly impressed- i think the angels must sing/sound like this. A thunderous wonderful wall of joy and realness. Please make a film about this group someone - make them famous and tell their story ❤😊

I'd love to find out more too. I do know that one of the singers Monica Burruss went on to sing in Barry Manilow's touring group.

Actually some of them could be alive.
The show was 1969 so that was about 52/53 years ago and they range from 12 to 21.
So the youngest one could be 64, 65 and the oldest one 73 or 74. Now the older ladies more than likely passed but I would think a lot of them are still here with us.

@@johnsolomon4762 I think that some of the younger ones could be still alive for sure. I wonder where their journey took them after this show. 🤔 I was just on Google to translate what the gentleman on the post said. I believe he was trying to say the same you were. Thank you for sharing! 💖

@@johnsolomon4762 I was 17 in 1969 and am 72 today. They were wonderful! I never heard of them at the time, I was a Led Zeppelin fan. Too bad this kind of music is rare now. - I would think it's still around, but choral music isn't so commonly heard outside of churches and the south.

The lead singer of the first song looks like the singer who sang Aquarius with the cast of Hair when they appeared on the Sullivan Show. Hopefully that clip will be posted soon.

Omg. I stand correct. She's Gerri Griffin Watlington. I read a article from the New York Times that she's the daughter of the founders of the choir and she replaced Ron Dyson in HAiR.
