Hi everyone. I recently kind of kicked the crap out of Seiko because of a very expensive quartz Tuna model that subscriber Matthew very kindly lent me. Now it's the turn of Mark's delightful divers, and luckily, it's like a breath of fresh air! (Sorry, Matthew!)

Great look at a really nice pair of Seikos. As much as they often frustrate watch fans with their quality control issues and perceived price increases (among other issues), we all still love Seiko and want them to do well.

The solar tuna is one of my favorite night watches. Seiko lume can’t be beat!
Both look like great watches, the Tuna would be my pick of the two!

Great video review of two good Seiko divers! I have the PADI version of the Samurai which has the same look. I think that Seiko take a bit more care with the PADI versions, so the alignment and finishing will be good! I don’t think you can go wrong with these two watches!!
Thanks mate! 🙏🏻 Yeah, they’re great watches and they can found for way below retail, and the Samurai is probably the one I’d go for! Love the handset on that. Interesting point re PADI models, too - I didn’t really think about it but those two prove that point!

Haha! Yep, “he was eating overpriced fries the whole time, officer.” 🤣 Mate, always time for bracelets and the like in the future. I had the Hexad Strapcode on my Samurai and it was an absolute game changer 🔥

So much fuss about everything being aligned. It should be a norm for any watch brand. It's only surprising with Seiko. Maybe that's a demonstration batch lol

Thanks mate! Well, I haven’t seen the SPB143 in person, but the lugs on the bracelet to me look like they belong to a different model, if that makes sense. But I love the design in general barring that!
Pretty much every Prospex watch has an unsigned crown. I don't know why they're so absent from the line.
Nowadays if you have to buy the Seiko watches, especially divers, better check in person.
Well said - but did you see the Just One More Watch vid of his Seiko from JapanOnlineStore? They claim they check them but his still came misaligned 🙈It’s a shame that it’s such a risk!

@@LumePip was going to collect all three. Bought a DAMASKO DK 30 instead. No fuss, great quality. Why buy three shitty qc ones when you can get the ultimate tool watch?
