Florida Govenor #RonDeSantis has signed the extradition warrant for #ShannaGardnerFernandez to be sent from Washington to Florida for allegedly orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot.
Gardner-Fernandez is accused of setting up her ex-husband, Microsoft executive #JaredBridegan, in an ambush-style murder while he was on the way home to his wife.

Shanna’s wealthy parents were clearly funding all her frivolous legal maneuvers against Jared. In my opinion, they bear some moral responsibility for this murder because their “generosity” enabled Shanna to keep antagonizing her ex in court and therefore stoking her own anger.

I disagree with the death penalty, tho - and not just for the privileged. The trauma Jared's twins have endured has been great enough. Knowing their mom had their dad killed is horrific enough.
Shanna's lack of remorse is not a factor in crime details, but it sure adds to the overall picture of a lack of humanity.

If anything ever happened that separated myself and my husband, I would insist we got the kids as equally as possible. Granted, I understand it can be more complicated during the school year. But my kids love both their daddy and me. They deserve to have both of us in their lives.

IMO the “big part of the story” are the court documents for the custody. Read about the pettiness of Shanna in the name of her love for her children. LBH, getting Jared out of the picture was a win for BOTH Shanna and her mom and I’ll never be convinced otherwise.

What do you mean by the church? Are you talking about the general authorities of the church or local leaders? I am glad you said that they "seem" to turn a blind eye. Yes, imperfect people do imperfect things. No doctrine of the church I have ever followed has taught me to hold myself above others, to think I am a prophet, justify murder or abuse. If people follow the doctrine that is taught, then they will be good citizens. The church tries to regulate members and try to get them to repent of wrongdoings which every single one of us commit day-to-day. Yes, leaders have done wrong things and are eventually caught. Human emotions get in the way. Bishops and Stake Presidents are lay individuals and sometimes they don't believe something happened. They are lay people as well, and they don't understand everything. The church doesn't have cameras in every home and every therapy session. In fact, LDS people will say for themselves that those that get off track are often worse than ever embracing the doctrine. I have seen this.

Check out the story of Kouri Richins. They were Mormon. She murdered her husband with fentanyl poisoning! She was mad because he wouldn’t buy her a 22,000 square foot home. He only said he didn’t think it was financially a good buy. And they already had a 1.5 million dollar home. Everything I’ve read about Eric is he was a great guy. When he met her, he was worth 3.5 million. He met her when she was working at his local Home Depot. She was a checker there. She even had a ghost writer write a book about the 3 precious boys losing their father. She hit Eric’s sister because after his death, Kouri hired a locksmith to try and steal $160,000. She was arrested for assault. Now she’s sitting in jail for his murder. Eric and his best friend owned a very successful masonry business. She stole lots of money from him. Thankfully Eric had figured out what was going on and went to see a divorce attorney. He moved all of assets over to a trust and his sister is the trustee for the sons. And Kouri lied and told law enforcement that Kouri was on drugs, which is a huge lie!! I think Court TV has some videos on the case. Edit- They lived in Utah.

I think Jared was happy and Shanna couldn’t stand it. He found a beautiful 2nd wife, nice home, good job and relationships. Shanna was likely miserable with her choice and realized the grass wasn’t greener. When she couldn’t hurt him by taking the kids away from him, she had him unalived. Typical spoiled brat behavior…always wanting everything. If Jared was single and miserable I believe he’d still be alive today. But he was thriving and Miss Missy wasn’t having it.

The two key words for her motivations . . . “share” & “kids”. She probably didn’t share her toys either. She wasn’t going to share her children either.
Her mother Shellie said in an interview many years ago that she didn't spend time with her children rather building her business. instead. now look what happened. Shanna is the youngest and seems spoiled.

I‘m sure she thought she would find „someone better“ after she cheated and broke up with him. Once she realized he wasn’t just going to disappear out of her life because he loved their kids and wanted to be a present father, she grew more and more resentful, eventually realizing what she had thrown away, especially once he married his new wife. It appears to me she just married her new husband to show him „look - I can get somebody as well“. And what a catch she made, getting involved with somebody who was evil enough to hire a hitman for the father of his own step children… Absolutely devastating for the children in this case. Not only did the 2 year old have to see her own father being shot down(!) but she and her sister have to grow up without their dad, knowing that their half siblings will have to cope with the fact they lost their father and the person responsible is their own mother… It‘s sickening. I cannot even fathom the pain these children are going through. I just hope custody of the twins is eventually transferred to Jared‘s parents, their paternal grandparents. That’s the family they should and need to grow up in, if they ought to have a chance of healing. From what I‘ve seen of Kristen she seems like such a loving and wonderful woman, I‘m sure she would take in those kids with open arms. They are victims just like her and her own kids.

I have an uncle who was wrongly imprisoned for 27 years for a murder he didn't commit. He was only recently freed after help from the innocence project. And the guy has some serious PTSD to work through after his ordeal.

This woman, who imho is obvs guilty AF, was allowed to appear in court today wearing street clothes (meaning an elegant black suit sneaked in -literally brought in minutes before the appearance - by her disgusting attorney, child-murderer enabler and father-killer enabler Jose Baez) because she is rich and wh*te and gets wild privileges that should not be allowed. Her codefendant (her husband the gym janitor), charged with the same charges and also being held without bond, was forced to appear in his prison wear because an attorney paid by a super rich Mormon family paying an attorney $200,000 a month have clothing sneaked in for him at the last second. This is grotesque and completely embarrassing to our justice system. She stood there and smiled in her black suit while her codefendant was on prison garb. Yes, this nonsense affects juries - exactly while scumbags like Baez go for these stunts.

Really sad story. Similar situation happened where the mom was shot execution style in her car by hired hit men. The father and his parents got tired of all the money they spent and gave and my friend wanted more and more money. It was awful. Her in-laws bought the house , bought everything and my friend wasn’t happy with half so more money more court time. It all makes sense to me when you see how people get over money . Looks like Shannon Gardners family bought everything and supported them early on in the marriage and Jared got his good paying job after. Reports I read was he still wanted more in the divorce and child support and Shannon money was her parents so they had to pay Jared. Shannon did not work. This is what happen when you deal with crazy , you can end up dead. Sad for kids and families .
Just to add my friend who was shot dead by a hit man was 25 years ago. Her mother in law got life sentence and the hit man and his driver got lesser sentences. Her ex husband never got custody of their son . My friends older mom raised her son and the son has never had anything to do with his dads family to this day. My friend wanted more child support and more that she thought she deserved. We told her to stop with going to court and more money. She had a good job but the divorce was bitter since her ex husbands parents paid for everything and it was a family business. So sad but this has been going on for a long time. Social media and internet is just reporting on it nation wide and world wide.

@@xiffany20 no , how would anyone no know that but Shannon. I’m talking about a situation that played out very similar in my life and money and crazy people ends poorly. It’s similar situation except my friends ex husband didn’t hire the hitman. His mother hired the hitman and they were all caught. The ex husband did zero jail time since lack of evidence. I think it’s very simplistic to say it’s because he wanted more money , there’s way more factors that go into a situation like this . Court case will lay it out People are not ok mentally when they have the father of their children executed.

Most likely she wanted to move out of state her X Jared was probably telling her that he would never agree for his kids to be moved out of state and she didn't want to live in Florida anymore.... As now we know after Jared was killed she moved out of state. Being rich all her life she was use to getting her own way but this time she didn't.

Just because Shanna’s family has money, it doesn’t mean she has access to it. Pretty sure they will stand behind her & pay for representation, as well as caring for the grandchildren. The Gardner’s are a large close family, however Shanna appears to be the black sheep of the family.
Oh she has access to the money alright. Her family supported her and Jared the whole time they were married. They regularly received a stipend from her parents exceeding $8,500 per month.
not sure if you're familiar with them, but I assure you they give her access to all the money she wants. they have funded her misdeeds since she was a child... it's all in the name of "preserving the image," which is common LDS culture... can't make the church look bad, can't make the family look bad... so she knows they will do anything to make their family name look as clean as possible, hence the PR person.

She's going to put everything on her husband. After her ex-husband was killed she took the kids and bailed on her new husband,moved to another state. She'll say she began to fear for her safety & the safety of her kids so she left. Does anything really point to her guilt or does it all point to the new husband? When the situation continues all the time, it is a matter of personality disorder. Either the victim was disturbed and the perpetrator was completely tired, or the perpetrator was disturbed and did the final act to the victim. I haven't been following this case, so I can't say how it is in this case. However, thinking quickly, it would seem to be this ex-wife (murder in the presence of a child, etc.).
