He calculates extensively or even upto practically everything... right in front of the jury so they don't have to get their "proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" calculators, they don't have to go over their notes again or really... consider much at all outside of which points he's made, in order to make such impressions on them. A jury panel of whom stepped out of their own personal lives for a number of weeks... eagerly awaiting to return back to their regular tasks, can desire for jury duty to be simple and Jose can uphold his end well, in order to appease them.
The closest the prosecution seemed to have come to establishing a motive for Casey was to choose a "party girl" lifestyle over one with Caylee. Although that's certainly not impossible, I've never heard of that as a lead or initial motive anyways, nor was there enough evidence to seemingly make that point consistently clear. I thought her lying was more suspicious than everything else put together. Aaron Hernandes's second trial really helped give me the impression of his innocence, while Jose said that he thought Aaron's first trial (less familiar to me) was reversible. It's a wonder how that what route(s) Jose would've taken that case down.

Commoners seem to love a dramatic host who tells them what to think. You can see this with conservative radio personalities or some of the wokesters on MSNBC. I think Vinny if left to his own devices would rise above this type of presentation, but I suspect some producer is telling him he has to dumb things down and get emotional because that's what a prime time audience expects. No matter how well the family court managed the case (which I know nothing about one way or another) if one party is willing to devote unlimited funds to keeping the case alive it’s hard for the court to quash that since custody can be a dynamic issue.

Being named a top trial lawyer in one of those Attorney magazines, I think one just pays for that, so that means nothing. I just happen to have an interested in watching criminal defense attorneys.

Because thats the way out court laws are set up; EVERYONE gets a defense you are innocent until proven guilty in this country and in our court system. At this point, from everything I have seen, we still have no proof that Shawna Gardner had anything to do with it. The defense has to prove she is innocent and the prosecution has to prove that she is guilty. Our founding fathers set this up because British courts are different. British courts assume you are guilty.
I may be wrong, but I don't see her getting the death penalty even if convicted. The children will be considered. The trauma they experienced by the sudden and violent loss of their father would be exponentially worse in knowing that their mother will be executed by the state for having their father killed.

We don’t know for sure, because police have been very tight lipped about this case, but likely they found him because they had surveillance of a truck driving in the area of the murder around the time of the murder, and one of the wheels looked different from the other 3 wheels because that wheel was the one that had been taken off and left in the road to create the ambush. None of the videos caught the plates, but they knew what truck they were looking for.
Capital murder is a different type of murder; it doesn't need any motive whatsoever. The motive is usually objective: based on occupation, hiring, etc. Because of this it carries harsh penalties, without parole. Like the Las Vegas concert deaths or such. I never watch these things, but this popped up for me. It indicates the perpetrator is not, nor will they ever be, able to live in the general population, anywhere, with the general population being safe.
Please go for life in prison without parole,last time Florida Jury let a killer go free, because of dead penalty! They admitted if life in prison was on the table , they would’ve convinced her! Don’t let a killer get away AGAIN!!

Being named a top trial lawyer in one of those Attorney magazines, I think one just pays for that, so that means nothing. I am pretty sure he represented Harvey Weinstein, and on that case, I think he got him off, not sure. Not saying this guy is a man of character. I just happen to have an interested in watching criminal defense attorneys.
José Baez and that baby killer got lucky because do to how much time had passed that there was no way to prove without a doubt what happened to the baby, but he's not even that good of a lawyer. In this case the evidence is all there and the shooter is testifying 🤷. Don't think they'll walk away.
He got Aaron Hernandez off on a double homicide in Boston that had a eye witness testify at trial. He is the best there is, it's bigger than Casey Anthony do some research.

It really bothers me how the goal of defense attorneys is to get their client off, not make sure they get a fair trial.

Because thats the way out court laws are set up; EVERYONE gets a defense you are innocent until proven guilty in this country and in our court system. At this point, from everything I have seen, we still have no proof that Shawna Gardner had anything to do with it. The defense has to prove she is innocent and the prosecution has to prove that she is guilty. Our founding fathers set this up because British courts are different. British courts assume you are guilty.
I may be wrong, but I don't see her getting the death penalty even if convicted. The children will be considered. The trauma they experienced by the sudden and violent loss of their father would be exponentially worse in knowing that their mother will be executed by the state for having their father killed.
There’s plenty of people on death row that have children. But i agree that she wont get death.. i think she will be found guilty though and given LWOP.

We don’t know for sure, because police have been very tight lipped about this case, but likely they found him because they had surveillance of a truck driving in the area of the murder around the time of the murder, and one of the wheels looked different from the other 3 wheels because that wheel was the one that had been taken off and left in the road to create the ambush. None of the videos caught the plates, but they knew what truck they were looking for.

Capital murder is a different type of murder; it doesn't need any motive whatsoever. The motive is usually objective: based on occupation, hiring, etc. Because of this it carries harsh penalties, without parole.
Like the Las Vegas concert deaths or such. I never watch these things, but this popped up for me.
It indicates the perpetrator is not, nor will they ever be, able to live in the general population, anywhere, with the general population being safe.
