It's 49$ if you have the collection bundle already :) Also regarding 6:40 : in FL Studio you could build a simple patcher with LFOs etc to do that :) But yeah, bitwig modulators are great.
Korg does this as well - mind you the latest Korg synths like the Wavestate are based on Raspberry Pis so it is easy to emulate them. I think there is room for something different like this, but it's meant to be in the V-Collection to be fair...
interesting to mention that is als MPE capable, although Pressure has only to modulution destinations.. that are fixed, but still it is MPE, and therefore.... and also it has MTS-ESP. Arturia does not mention anymore if something has MPE and/or MTS-ESP it seems..... but sounds.... Brut! great soft synth, no brainer.... for me... fits perfectly in my music...
Although I've seen tons of coverage of their 'Freak line, I merely know their 'Brute line exist and don't really know how they sound. I still pondered getting the Minibrute 2s to go with my semi-modular synths purely for the patchbay, but fine its price too close to other synths I'm more familiar with. I'd probably demo it to get an idea how it sounds and would have the Arturia discount, but I'd still lean more towards getting it as a module.
I second that . The sequencer alone is a great addition to a modular set up . The two extra lanes / tracks can send out lfos and envelope shapes per step even . Also the synth part is no slouch and a nice expansion if you don’t have a more rude analog sound in your setup.
As much as I appreciate the plugin, I feel like it was a misstep to not just release it as the 2 iteration of the synth. Which I can only assume is coming eventually as a separate plugin/purchase. need to check my acct settings as I am not getting emails about these releases...
This is me guessing, but I think they wanted to stick to this emulation as is currently discontinued, I think. Minibrute 2 is still beign sold. Because of that I dunno if they will emulate another of their synths soon
@@AlexReidStudios I did buy it a while ago, almost did get a spark controller but the used ones were quite expensive^^ but don't think they will upgrade it. Still works as vst
i dont think they can get too fancy with this if they intend to do the matrixbrute in the future, and like always, i think its too expensive. soft synths really shouldnt cost more than a few bucks in my opinion.
@@AlexReidStudios I tried to emulate MiniBrute V presets on the Matrix: it's not straightforward. There are so many modulation possibilities on the Matrix. A VST would be a daunting task.
That's why I mention that, I'm sure a second hand Minibrute cost the same. Now, I know Arturia's customers go mostly for bundles and customer discounts, but still
@@eklipseRomania It's interesting to me how heavily companies want to punish people for not buying their whole kit-n-caboodle. The entire V collection is currently on sale for $500, which is the same price as this particular piece of hardware being emulated. If you decide that you only need three of their synths, then it's already cheaper just to buy the whole collection. So is it that they're giving us a massive price break on the whole collection (thousands of $ if bought separately) or is it that they're penalizing the hell out of someone who just wants one of their synths? It certainly seems that better pricing parity could be achieved. Example: Remember that some guy who was selling some super pillow on TV for a perpetual 'sale' price of buy one, get one for a penny was sued, and the judge told him that he could no longer do that sale, but instead had to just halve his price so people could buy just one. I'm not faulting anyone or complaining about Arturia, but I just find this subject interesting.
Nice! They need to emulate their drumbrute😅
That could be nice
It’s sounds pretty good to me

Yeah, I'm sure almost every DAW has a way to create modulation sources for external plugins
Pretty cool. I will wait for this to show up in the next V collection update; maybe Arturia will add some other emulations of their synths.
Let's hope! They most probably announce new stuff before the new collection

Yeah, but for Arturia is relatively new. Still is a great idea imo

It's great for unique kind of dirtyness, I love my Minibrute 2S

Minibrute 2S is excellent. Even only as a sequencer is great

I bought this and it sounds amazing. I paid 50e for a cross grade. I really hope they model more of their bigger babies. :)
I hope they do it but I doubt it, as this one is not longer on their catalog I believe, but it would be great!
@@AlexReidStudios Fingers crossed!

well gonna be added soon...got 'em all so intro prices is good^^ I would like that they would upgrade spark tho...
Spark is an old favorite that many people seem to want

Nice, got it!
have fun!

Yeah it's pricey. Dunno if they want to make the Matrixbrute, but it would be dope
If they model the MatrixBrute... eh, I'm still buying the hardware.
For us broke producers the MatrixBrute softsynth would be awesome

Wow! $200 is almost half the cost of the full hardware unit.
That price is smokin crack.

I wonder how they got access to multiple minibrutes to get enough representative samples. 😁
Maybe they got in contact with the original developer?
It's also 69$ if you have an account or sign up at Arturia and log in :)
Yep! That's better :)
49 bucks or wait and it will be included in some deal, or another
Too expensive. Compare this simple synth to some of the Cherry Audio emulations and even £99 is expensive! 🤔
but this just sounds better. at least to my ears :)
It's expensive, but also it's aimed to Arturia users, there are more discounts with that
Only Arturia emulation I will acutally use
Sounds great
It sounds ok, but it's kinda boring. You and I both know we could make this in Bitwig with the Unison oscillator
Honestly I quite like this one, but it has it's character and because of that it's a one kind of sound type of synth.
I trust your judgment, sir. You've now made me want to download the demo and give it a real chance@@AlexReidStudios
