    Bro, right on! Good job. Loved the part where you said look's great in the shop, but moving to the patio, lol 😆 I'm a TV, shop kinda guy too, wife hates it when the shop looks better 😄

    Going to give this a shot for our new patio. We have a natural gas line that was run for us for this exact purpose. Everything we are pricing out is in excess of $2,000. I am willing to give this a shot 10 times before I give up…. Wish me luck

    Irish spring soap will keep them away cut them in half and drill a hole in it. Zip tie it to the plant or some way close. I have a 30000 plant strawberry farm. No problem anymore.

    Can you recommend an easier table or house I can drop the pan into? I don’t think I can do the concrete.

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  Год назад

      The concrete is a reasonable diy project and very cost effective. I don't have any other ideas that I can think of that won't catch fire or transmit a lot of heat. Goodluck!

    Did you have an idea about the wheels to use ? I was thinking something adjustable from the outside. I'd always want the base flush on the ground. I'd also probably store the tank inside. Being able to move it around would be great.

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  3 года назад

      I have not thought about the wheels but it would be nice to make is easily moveable. We don’t have a need at this time to do that but retractable casters might be a good option to use. Thanks you for watching!

    How did you secure the conrete top to the base? Didn't catch that in the video.

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  2 года назад

      I never secured it. It’s heavy enough at about 100 lbs to not really move when you put your feet on it. Thanks for watching!

    What do you think of the video? Not enough information on the build? Too much information on the build? Wrong information? Too slow? Not enough camera views? Let me know. Thanks for watching!

    Turned out great! Was that plain jane quikrete, like $5 a bag stuff?

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  Год назад

      Yes. Plain jane quikcrete. Works for almost every project. I have used the countertop, expensive concrete, and was not impressed.

    Hi,.. I’m de purposing a old one I found,.. I wanted to ask what is the difference in using a high pressure and low pressure regulator.

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  3 года назад

      In simple terms the high pressure regulator allows more propane to reach the burner. So if you have windy conditions it allows more gas to burn hotter or larger flame.

    I have thought about doing a similar design for years now but I was concerned about the concrete top getting really hot and kids burning themselves. Does your concrete heat up hot enough to burn or warm your beer up 🤣. Love the design and use of the air regulator

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  3 года назад +2

      The top doesn’t get hot at all. No warm beer and gives off a lot of heat when cranked up. Thanks for watching!

    Could i use the same material for rotisserie grill?

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  3 года назад

      Not sure but it would be able to cook something with the heat it pumps out.

    Hello! We just discovered you. We live in Cypress Texas. We are having an outdoor bar built and we want to put this in it. My question is why didn’t you make it so that the cabinet was big enough to put the propane in with like a door that opens and closes? Is it too hot it’s dangerous? Also we did not catch the exact measurements. You might have said it but we’ve watched it 8 times and we never heard it so could you provide me with them please?
    We’ve watched almost all of your videos. We were so excited you were a fellow Texan living right here in Conroe. Anyways, just wanted to let you know me and my husband felt inspired by your work. Please remember to send me dimensions and question about cabinet for propane! Thanks so much. Chris and Claudine Marshall

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  3 года назад

      Thank you for watching!. The concrete dimensions are 2ft by 4ft. There is a 1 3/4 overhang on every side making the fire pit “box” 20.5in by 44.5 in.. I didn’t put the propane cylinder in the fire pit because I didn’t know if it was going to be hot or not. I’m sure it would be fine but I also wanted to be able to regulate the flame. I did not buy one of those key turns to regulate the amount of propane so I would have to continuously have to open the fire pit to adjust the flame if that’s what I wanted to do. Good luck on your project.

      @@littleaboutalot7478 thank you so much! I will send you pictures when we are done. That makes sense why you didn’t put the propane in the box. We were also concerned it may get too hot. We will just put ours behind it nobody will see it. We love it! Looking forward to more videos!

    How much did this project cost?

    • @littleaboutalot7478
      @littleaboutalot7478  2 года назад +1

      If I remember correctly, around $150-200. The concrete and wood were cheap. The pan and parts were the most expensive parts. Thanks for watching!
