    Watching video of my play, I could not believe my hands were down. This is such a great video! Thanks Tyson and Kyle! 👏
    Love the point about sliding, leaning and maximizing leverage during the volleys.

    Used this ready position in my game today. Night and day difference. Every volley I missed was because I went back to my bad hand position. GREAT video.

    I'm glad this one has a lot of comments because it's great. I definitely have not been always facing the ball on crosscourt exchanges and probably drop my hands some too. The game looks like too much fun almost lol. At this time you have 10.8k subs and it should be 1.8 million!

    Aloha Guys! I have a lesson this week and am excited to have my "coach" work with me on this. I have a tendency to make too big of swing on some of my volleys and am not ready fast enough for the next one. Thanks so much for your great videos. The best out here in Pickleball land! :)

    Great drill. You mentioned scoring 2 points for letting out balls go. Is there a specific drill that can help train letting out balls fly? Asking for a friend.

    Love your videos! Any chance you can do a video on what you're looking at when at the NVZ and you're being attacked? (how to best anticipate where your opponent is hitting) Also, maybe tie in fakes and last second racket adjustments to throw your opponent off?

      Check the speed up or block series! Lots of good nuggets in there pertaining to counterattacking ✌️

    Thank you very much. I used to think www.PrimeTimePickleball.com was my favorite. Now it is you two. Well laid out format, easy to understand, excellent and multiple examples, and game play. And game play I believe is the most important part of drilling. Thank you very much again.
    Hey, has Selkirk gotten you a ball carrier on wheels yet? ;) I'm still hoping they offer their carry bags in the new Electrify/watermelon color. :)

    Hey Tyson. I notice during the game session u tend to use your backhand mostly and the ready position was kind of favoring the backhand. Should I have my paddle more tilted to the backhand or are you just kind of reading where they are going to hit it? I struggle switching to the forehand quick enough.

    • @TysonMcGuffinPickleball
      @TysonMcGuffinPickleball  Год назад +1

      If you are in a continental grip I recommend tilting your paddle to a 10 o’clock ready position. That way you are slightly shaded towards the backhand volley where you can cover more spots on your body 👍.

    My brother Larry has a lot of chest bruises from pickleballs.
    4:25 I have to wait for 9 yrs for my 12yr olds to buy me one...ROFL
    Great concept that needs to be practiced.
    I'm always popping up. Probably due to lazy awareness. Sooooo Vital to be ready.

    Watching the Xcourt dinking it was really noticeable how much less Ty does than Kyle. Ty's paddle is set earlier and in the same place and moves more efficiently. Everything is in a tighter bubble.
