    1 7/8" long tubes and full 3" Di Filippo fit up perfectly mate and sound way better without the annoying bark

      I'd agree but dpe costs like 4 grand and I'd rather spend the extra I'd spend on that on go fast bits

    great job on the editing for this one, concise and straight to the point
    also should point out that the head shop allowing you guys to jump the queue goes to show you're well respected in the business. You don't get favours like that if you're a flog! Top work fellas.

      @@datdom34 they're not exactly easy to come by around here, but I might get one anyway... that or one of those high output RB ones that I've seen on RHD Japan. :)

      My cammed ls1 uses 24L of 98 around town put in today @ $2.50L, just something to think about

      @@AndrewMitchell001 My Neo was going through give or take 25L/100k E85 before I took it apart, probably a little bit more than that after the rebuild, seeing as more power usually translates to more fuel being burnt... that would not really an issue... well, it would be, but I mean, fuel economy shouldn't be your main concern if you're building/driving a fast/fun to drive car.

    I've heard (Richard Holdener) who dynos all sorts of combos that the standard heads are good for 600 hp so I'd be interested to see you guys dyno a before and after

    • @BoostGumps
      @BoostGumps  10 месяцев назад +3

      Yeh the standard Rectangle port heads are great! They flow plenty and are very adequate for N/A SBE setups such as this. For us it mostly comes down to cost vs work done. Although in this guise we have only seen around 10-15hp increase from the CNC program, it's not a whole lot more expensive to have the heads CNC'd than it is to get a complete service on them from another machine shop. So we find most customers opt for the CNC program as it's better bang for buck than just having the heads reconditioned and serves as a great advantage in future once forced induction and ethanol come into the picture.

    Sounds like a stock cam lol 470hp theres no way😅

    • @BoostGumps
      @BoostGumps  2 месяца назад +1

      Drives close to a stock one too, would happily daily drive on this cam. Thats why we use it in 90% of our rectangle port cam packages.
      We have gone 505whp in a 6L with this cam on E85, and have done 495whp on 98 with this cam on 2 seperate 6L cars.
