Biggest mistake I made was starting too high. Started at 200 mgs per week. Little did I or my Dr know that I must be a hyperresponder. Total T was over 2000. Anxiety, couldn't sleep, felt horrible. 9 months later I'm down to 90 mgs and that has me at around 1000 total. Starting to feel better finally.
It can take time to get dialled in which is why having the right protocol is important as is the flexibility to work with your doctor to recognise what works and what doesn’t and to change accordingly. Thanks again for watching.
@@renatowarrens5552 That sucks, my levels are around 1600 and I’m anxiety free and felt exactly the way I did before I needed treatment. Literally the perfect sweet spot for me, but as this guy said everyone’s different and you need to adjust and be honest with your doctor so they can make adjustments if you don’t feel well on your dose. That seems like a crazy high dose though, I think my vial comes with 250mg and it lasts me over a month. It’s a highly individualized form of medicine.
Thanks Mike, already on board with you guys! Heck nearly 2 years now and best decision I have ever made. Took time to get that “dialled “ in feeling but with your support now feeling optimal at the age of 56… 👍
I’m 37, I noticed things were def not the same as before. I finally got tests done after insisting my Dr test for my levels. Came back 272 smh. I’m hoping to get on it, hopefully it works as I think it will.
My biggest mistake was waiting to get my diet and exersice in order...and proper supplements according to my activity and what nutrient i was seeminly using first
Both calcium d-glucarate and DIM can help support healthy estrogen metabolism and reduce estrogen levels, but they work in slightly different ways. Calcium d-glucarate works by helping to remove excess estrogen from the body, while DIM helps to balance estrogen levels by increasing the ratio of beneficial estrogen metabolites to harmful ones. DIM (diindolylmethane) is a natural compound found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. DIM has been shown to support healthy estrogen metabolism by increasing the ratio of beneficial estrogen metabolites to harmful ones. Specifically, it helps to promote the production of 2-hydroxyestrone, a beneficial estrogen metabolite that has been associated with a lower risk of breast and other hormone-related cancers. The best choice for you may depend on your individual needs and health status. I recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare provider to determine which supplement is most appropriate for you and your health goals.
I am so glad I have a good GP. I felt that there was something not right. Got a test done and my testosterone is only 5.5nmol and I am 42. GP put me on sustaneon 250
When is the best time to do your blood-tests after the first 5 weeks on trt. Should you do them the day of your injection before you inject to record the lowest point of your testosterone?
I am about to turn 23 in a month, my total testosterone last april was 511, last month tested it again and its even lower at 338. It's most likely from shift work, rotating 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm, next day 6pm to 6am then 2 days of rest). I am also studying and doing side jobs (low level coding trying to make that my career). For a full year maybe even longer i got all symptoms of low t. It ruined my relationships (no desire for intercourse, or even when i do it i dont last long). Also i regressed in gym. Also 90% of day i have no clarity honestly i feel like i am mentally challenged. Trt sounds good and i feel like it could help me with my life quality, desire for love, career, friendships, training, but i am not sure. Also i have very low levels of hematocrit and hemoglobin. Even if i do conditioning i my cardio is sh*t.
All the people from reddit and forums, tell me just leave your job you are overworking and stressing so much, you are young you should not take or thinks about testosterone. But life ain't that simple i gotta pay bills education.
It's becoming less uncommon for a 23 year old to start TRT. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) may be an effective treatment option for men with low testosterone levels and related symptoms. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting TRT to determine if it is the right treatment for you and to evaluate any potential risks or side effects. Your symptoms may be related to low T levels, and your low testosterone levels may be caused by your shift work and stress. Before starting TRT, your healthcare professional will likely evaluate your overall health, conduct blood tests and check your blood count, including hematocrit and hemoglobin. It is important to be aware of the potential risks and benefits of the treatment and to be monitored by a healthcare professional while on the therapy.
I read everything you wrote, but you never posted specific results that you are looking to achieve by using trt. Start there and then ask yourself if it’s something that you can change yourself or if it makes more sense to just start doing trt. We can all tell you what makes sense for us but that doesn’t mean that it will be the right answer for you and your situation.

I do feel somewhat better, but not like I did at 35 (50 now) What do people here think of TRT for me now. I will add the diet that got me here is Carnivore that teeters back and forth with low carb Keto. EVERY healthy marker has improved along the way except for LDL and SHBG so e2 is only 14 now where it was 28 inb the past when I was at 330 total T, SHBG is 43 now. so free T is onl8.8 right now Any thoughts?? Im not sure if Carnivore is sustainable even though it did help me a lot, I am losing way too much weight and muscle. I was 216 prior to this diet and 185 today. Belly from 40 to 34"
Considering your situation and the changes you've experienced over the years, it's understandable that you're exploring options like TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy). Given your age and the challenges you've faced with fluctuating testosterone levels, TRT might be a viable choice to help you regain some of the vitality and well-being you felt at 35. However, it's essential to make this decision in consultation with a knowledgeable healthcare provider who specializes in hormone therapy. They can assess your complete medical history, hormone levels, and overall health to determine the best approach for you. TRT can be beneficial when managed properly, but it should always be done under medical supervision to ensure your safety and well-being. As for your diet, it's essential to find a sustainable eating plan that aligns with your health and fitness goals. If you feel that the Carnivore diet is causing excessive weight loss and muscle loss, you may want to consider adjusting your dietary approach or seeking guidance from a nutritionist. To learn more, please visit our website at www.balancemyhormones.co.uk. @@balancemyhormones Food allergies and pre-diabetes prompted this diet change. I have lowered A!C, fasting glucose, AST from 47 to 23, HDL from 43 to 70. I was anemic and now im not. Also waist from 39"+ down to 34" now. If I can maintain these changes with a modified version of this diet that will be awesome. The only reason my T went up is this diet, but it dropped my e2 to 14 from 28 in the process because my SHBG went up significantly and I feel lethargic now. I appreciate the reply!
Following diagnosis of low T and subsequent NHS treatment using Testogel which was abruptly stopped I'm now independant and on my own personal TRT treatment at 150mg Testosterone Cypionate every 8 days. I'm 12 weeks into my treatment and wish to see where my levels are. From your website what test would you recommend and when is the best time to draw blood. I'm thinking day 8 but before my injection and around early to mid morning. Please advise. Thank you.
