I had a total of 132. I didn’t want to be around people, I was so depressed I thought about suicide, I lost my job, I had 0 motivation, 0 drive for anything! Been on my shot for 3 days now and I already feel better! Got right up as soon as my alarm went off. Got to work early, and actually wanted to interact with people. This has been amazing so far!
My level was 116 and I'm 45. I took my first dose about 13 hours ago and I'm already feeling a lot better. I started Xyosted 100mg. I've read that for levels to stabilize, it may take 1+ weeks. I have a feeling that I've had low T for years. No drive, no ambition, depressed, social anxiety, etc and will come back and reply again once I've been on it longer. I feel so much better already though.
I'm in my mid 40s and been on TRT for 8 months now. Had low T since my early 30s. Quite possibly for most of my adult life. With TRT I'm stronger, getting better workouts and looking more cut and defined overall. The best part is my liibido is almost as good as it was back in my late teens/early 20s. It's like a sigh of relief that I don't have to wake up depressed anymore and I actually feel like I have a future for the first time in years.
Early 40's here. Around 35 everything went down hill. Even gained almost 80 pounds. Tired, depressed, anxious, and could care less about anything. Dr. said I needed to lose weight. I lost 20 pounds and felt even worse. Finally got my T tested. My test came back at 88 (free T was at 12). I finally had answers! I'm 6 weeks in using the gel and over the last 2 weeks, I seemed to really start to feel better and actually go my whole day without being tired. I feel happier & my pants are starting to not fit as tight as they did 2 months ago! I've also started working out too, so I'm sure that helps too. I wish I had tested sooner but whatever - I'm just glad to get my life back!!! Do you do injections? Gel? Cream? I have to re-test in 2 weeks but was curious about maybe switching to injections and if that worked better?
Glad to hear it! I finally got my T checked last week and it came back low across the board. I've had most of the symptoms since early 20s (I'm 45 now). This was the first time I got my T checked and I had to be the one to request it. Doctors should have this checked every year like all the other blood work they draw during physicals. I could have been living a much more improved life the last 20 years but doctors always wanted to look at symptoms individually like they were something else. Only when I got my new symptom (brain fog) did I dig into researching all my issues and found low T as the cause. Looking as the symptom list on the internet was like looking at my medical issues list. I always assumed that low T was a senior citizen issue and never considered it could have been low in my 20s. I start TRT in a few weeks or sooner, so hopefully it helps cure some or most of my issues.
@@dacripe What do you take? My doc started me on the gel and while I definitely feel better and started seeing changes, I'm not at 100% and still have days that are slightly rough. Just did blood work today to check my levels then will adjust form there. Was thinking about switching over to injections but wasn't sure. I just feel like I can benefit more than with the gel
@@jamie-r2034 I haven't started yet. But from researching all over and reading testosterone forums, injections are the way to go. They are the most effective as they deliver testosterone directly into the blood. Gels and patches have to be absorbed through the skin and not as potent. I have my wife and 2 daughters around, so gels are a no go for me. Anything in the testosterone enanthate group of injections is a good start, and what I'll tell my doctor to start me on. Most insurances seem to pay for that type. I hear it's best to do 100mg per week to start and then adjust based on blood work after that.
I've had the worst major depression and I'm almost in a spiral I lost my job I cannot go around people I have low testosterone and low thyroid. Just had my first 200 mg injection test today and once a week hereafter. Hearing you say your social anxiety went away overnight has me jumping for joy so hopeful!!!!! I am crying because it's hope! Caregiving for your dad as he goes to bone cancer at your home is so hard and now I'm doing it for my mom. But i kept both out of nursing home singlehandedly and my brother self terminated. Trt gives me hope - thank you so much!
@robotaholic you should be very proud of what you have done for your parents. That is very noble, not easy to do, most just shove them in a nursing home. Keep your head up, you are worth it! I am suffering from the same as you, I know exactly how you feel. Sorry to hear about your brother but if he got the help you are getting I'm sure the outcome could have been different. The thing about it is, life, in itself, it's just not easy. It takes grit and determination to achieve even a decent life, it's just not handed to anyone. Anyways, I hope you're feeling better, brother. I hope to do the same. No matter what, I'm in this for the long haul. I'm going to keep after it!
I'm 58 and have been on TRT for three years. I started it almost a year after starting a regular and fairly intensive strength training/bodybuilding program that I'm still on to this day. My TRT range is kept in the high normal area, 700-800. Now, I'm well above average in strength and muscle mass for a male of ANY age group. Not a monster, but generally the most muscular man in the room, most of the time. Except in the gym favored by bodybuilders in which case I'm still by no means on the small end of the muscle mass range. Basically I feel younger and am fitter, healthier, and everything is just working great. Sex drive has improved, too, but it's not insanely high like it was when I was in my 20s, and I'm glad it isn't.
I went to VA Hospital and explained the symptoms to my GP. He told me that I probably had PTSD. The VA sent me to a Psychiatrist that confirmed the PTSD diagnosis. 2 years later none the treatment or counseling was working. Went to a civilian doc on my own dime. They tested me and found out my Test was 288 and my thyroid and DHEA were concerning low. I went on TRT and Thyroid treatment a week ago. I don't feel anything dramatic yet, but I'm no longer thinking of stepping in front of a speeding bus. I'm on daily doses of .15ml daily (210mg per week) of test cyponate.
Yeah bro I went to the VA and my doctor straight up said she wasn't gonna prescribe me testosterone even though I didn't even ask for that. I asked for my testosterone levels to be checked. First year they were at 370ng and the next year dropped to 341ng. Went to a doctor outside of the VA, he instantly said my levels are like a 65 year old man and I am now on 100mg cypionate twice a week for a total of 200mg. Levels and blood work are looking good and I feel better than I have in a long time.
Va will absolutely not have anything to do with trt therapy. If anything tney will try to sway you from it with horror stories. Imagine that. The va telling a horror story about care. Went to my own civilian doc. I take Ione ml every week injected test cipionate. Half a pill of anastrozol and donate blood every 4 months to keep my hematocrit levels in check. Plus i get my levels checked every four months. @@arturofernandez725
Currently 5 weeks in myself, starting to feel a little different for sure, excited to see if there will be any physical changes over the coming weeks also :)
My GP did the same.... "Oh you're depressed, take these tablets and come back in a few weeks"... Only because I did research, and did private male hormone tests did I find out that I had low Free Test, and high SHBG levels - not depression!. What I've discovered through my journey so far is that Male Hormone specialist are rare, it's a dark art. Which is unfortunate for men. Anyway, I was offered TRT but refused it due to trying for a baby and was told it may negatively effect the chances of conceiving. Now I am, starting the journey again, private blood tests done, GP referral done and Endocrinologist appointment in a few weeks. ,
@@humungushumungus213 are you being obtuse on purpose? A journey in this sense would mean going through the stages of learning, doing and watching results as they happen. Hopefully arriving at the destination you are aiming for. Hence journey.
My dr did the same damn thing. I was actually rated at 3.7 and low was a 4.1 and she said that it can swing to .6 in either direction. So fast forward a year. My dr was out on maternity leave and my fill in dr actually listened to me and I took 4 tests and my levels dropped to 1.27, 1.24, 2.26, and 2.8. I just took my first dose of Xyosted 100mg 2 days ago and I started feeling better within 5 hrs and it's progressively getting better every day! It's so important to have a physician who listens to their patients!! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Same. My Dr moved to the other side of town. I stayed at the same practice and chose a different Dr and he's treating my symptoms, not the numbers. I just started with the gel this morning and I have very high hopes here. Test results went down from my 1st testing to 280/total & 5/free. I'm 62 and I think maybe low t has been the root of my problems for decades. Good luck!
Rule of thumb dont go a female doc, for male related cases. Trust me I am a doctor myself and they seriously dont give a single f about male androgen and sexual profiles. I have seen it first hand. Honestly, female gp shouldn’t touch male patients when it comes to emotional health, hormone profiles. They always think guys are “over exaggerating” their conditions 😂😂
It honestly, scares me how low they care about guys condition and want to always keep themselves “safe” which prescribing anything. Our psychiatry department was a nightmare. She use to prescibe anti depresents for literally everything… So, she can stay in safe zone.
So many people are saying the same thing you are saying. You know ow you used to feel, and you know how you feel now and you know something is wrong. And more than likely it is not a mental issue.
My doctor did bloods for me earlier in the year after my body completely crashed out. I'd almost passed out in the gym on a Monday and by the following Monday I still felt that first workout in the week prior.. I knew something was drastically wrong. I had a chronic vitamin D deficiency and my Testosterone was 8.2. I was crushed. He gave me 4000iu Vitamin D to take everyday for 6 weeks and we had another blood test. My vitamin D was back to normal and when I asked about my Testosterone he said it was 11, which was the lower end of normal, no further action I was a 17st heavyweight kickboxer in my 20s, that is NOT what my body considers "normal" at 36 I've been eating well, training hard, sleeping and while I'm grateful for being back in the gym I'm still not recovering well, getting tired some days and the weight id put on last year isn't shifting I ordered a kit from yourselves last week and fingers crossed I can get some way towards getting the rest of my quality of life back
It took me forever and a day to figure out that I may have an issue with my testosterone. The symptoms are so diverse and can also be symptoms of other things so it's not surprising that it's not something you jump to. But eventually I did the ADAM questionnaire and it suggested low test and so I took the blood tests which confirmed it. I'm now week 11 of TRT and the difference is immense and just getting better all the time. If you're unsure whether you have low TRT I'd say do the ADAM questionnaire - it's simple and takes two minutes and this can at least give you an idea if you're in the right ballpark for treatment or whether something else might be causing it.
My GP took me down the antidepressant road diagnosed me bipolar then adhd when I really had a fukin brain tumor . Arfter removal I was the low T poster boy. 170 ng/ dl and free was less than 3 pg/dl. 12 hours after my first injection, I realized I didn’t have Ed issues. It took awhile to get my protocol in a good place but I’ve lost 80 lbs in 18 months. After 6 months life started getting really good and the last year has been amazing.
Have been feeling down and depressed with high anxiety, sex drive is non existant. asked my doc to test my testonrone and low and behold its low. had to do my secondary bloodwork and all was good outside of again having low testotrone. i start my TRT in 2 days and i have high hopes to getting back to myself. i see a ton of success stories and it gives me hope to becoming myself again.
I'm 51 I live in the USA and I used to train regularly since I was a teenager until my early 30s and then life happened and I had 2 kids and unfortunately went through a ruff breakup and ended up being a full time single dad about 11 years ago and if I wasn't a religious person and didn't have kids I probably wouldn't be here right now...I've slowly declined over the past 4 or 5 years now physically and mentally last year I had my testosterone checked when I got my physical and my number was 9.6 out of a range of 7.2 to 24.0 and my doctor just said oh you're fine you're within normal range....it's so frustrating and I'm now trying to find a new doctor that understands.
Find a compound pharmacy and they go off symptoms not blood work . I started yesterday. Easy fast . Cash payments no insurance or BS of dealing with them .
37 male. Lifted from 14-35. Haven’t in a year. Just for some reason finally stopped. I was the guy who people asked what I took. I would smile and be like idk you tell me and was natural. Anyway had my test checked last week. Was 82 lol. No wonder I feel like I can stare at a wall and feel so low. Just waiting on them to review the tests. But clearly 82 is absurd. Especially at my age.
My testosterone at 44 year old for 4 months was 55, 41,50, 51 and I couldn't take it anymore. I tried clomid for 10 weeks and my anxiety was horrible, I worked out almost everyday but my symptoms were so bad. I also started getting heart palpatations, brain fog and so unmotivated as well as low libido. Low red blood cells. During the 4 months I had echo cardiogram, multible ekgs, colonoscopy and endoscopy. Also had low iron. Been on cypionate for 2 1/2 weeks and what a difference so far. Look forward to future.
I tried to have the conversation with my gp a few years ago and was shut down by her straight away. She wasn't interested in helping me at all. I was a idiot when I was younger and was using steroids from 16 years old, on and off until late 30s. I've just ordered my blood test through optimale, so I will see what happens.
Been on 200mgs a week, 2 shots of 100mgs a week for about 2 years now. My libido changed after about 3 weeks. Im 52 and have sex 3-4 times a week. Recovery from workouts is great. Energy level is great. Hair down to the middle of my back. No skin issues at all. Im as strong as Ive ever been. Helped burn off stubborn belly fat. No hint of gyno. Sleep patterns normalized. I was always kind of a big guy so I didnt gain much more muscle mass but it was more like a little body recomposition. still have a little ED but can still orgasm. It changed my life and I recommend it to anyone who might think theyre low.
200mg is quite a large dose for most men. Make sure you get your oestradiol/oestrogen checked, especially if you have ED despite those levels. Obviously make sure you discuss with your prescribing doctor.
@@OptimaleTRT Got Labs about 3 weeks ago and oddly enough my estrogen was a little low. Had the Ed long before I started trt. Everybody in my family is type 2 diabetic except for me. I figured it had more to do with my higher risk of that than anything else. Seems to be more of a blood flow issue or some kind of vascular issue. Great video though keep up the good work
I did a basic blood sample with you guys a few months ago and it said I had low test.. ive tried to improve my health a little since then but I still feel empty. So fatigued at work. No sex drive. And struggle recovering from the gym. I think I need to do the enhanced test to see if I can start treatment but I’m a little apprehensive 🤔 maybe I should give you guys a call
I’ve been in touch with you guys and have received my first prescription. So far you’ve been fantastic and at a fair price, especially if I get some of my normal life back. I have such bad anxiety and depression, my libido is at rock bottom. Sleep pattern is shocking, so fingers crossed 🤞🏾
@@Paul_Holman after the first few days I felt a huge uplift in moods. More of a positive outlook on the day, energy in the gym has increased. The morning glory is back and I tend to get a few random erections through the day 😅. Feel so much better in myself. I’m 6 weeks in and have my first blood tests on Thursday to see how things are going
So wait... I need to test alarmingly low for testosterone multiple times in order to be diagnosed as having low T... But I should pay $700 for a CPAP machine based on a 1-night sleep study? Tight. ... btw, my doctor seems to think that being on the mildest side of sleep apnea is more relevant than repeatedly testing slightly lower than what they conservatively consider to be the normal threshold for T.
that is a great point. I have had my sleep machine (had to get the ASV because I failed on the CPAP and BPAP machines) but after months of trying to use it and forcing myself to use it I have experienced no benefits from the ASV machine because I don't think my health issues were necessarily sleep apnea directly and so with some additions of vitamin supplements I sleep better than with that stupid machine. I had high hopes for the sleep machine since I know so many people that got it and right away felt great almost night 1. I will be starting my TRT next week, just as many people experience traditional doctors you go to will try and convince you it is anything else but low T that you are suffering from.
Just injected week 3 today and my sleep has improved since starting TRT in fact it has been better than trying to use my sleep machine and I have gone without my machine for the past 3-4 weeks. I’m already starting to feel benefits which tells me that was a major problem in my case since I have been in and out of doctors and many blood tests since September 2022 when I first started having serious health issues which all the doctors and tests could not determine the problem.
My T has been low at least a decade, 45 now. In my country doctors wont even start to discuss about TRT since my free T has been between 11-13 and 10 is the limit. I have severe depression, my life is totally meaningless, I really have a deathwish but Im not suicidal at all, not a quitter. So I came to Thailand where you can get things easily. At the moment its 1.5 weeks since I got my first Nebido shot to my butt and Im using Androgel at the same time. Doctor here told me that buy some Nebido before I leave and he writes a prescription for them. Problem nro 1: I have tried to ask few places but no one want to inject Nebido on me in my country. I found a video where they teach how to inject it by yourself or by a friend. Anyone shooting Nebido by himself? Problem nro 2: Should I follow some blood values wih just on TRT? Some talk PSA and red blood cells (I know this can be fixed by giving blood). Any other things that I should consider? So far my ED has improved significantly. Ive been training in gym over about 30 years, Im not doing new records but I had about a year pause from gym since other sports. What Ive been at the gym since Nebido I kind of feel somethings going on (I put all the weight on the bench press machine and could do about 6 reps), before nebido I wouldnt even try. Ive been really fit all my life execpt now Ive been gathering fat which I start to correct from now on by diet.
Jatenzo has increased everything, maybe its the testosterone, but everything is better. No anxiety, no depression god tier energy. 1 gel tab once a day i went from 94 to 460, im on 2 a day now. You feel like a literal god. By the way, jatenzo is only available to xxy patients. The capsule breaks in 30 mins and you hit the nice peak, unlike shots take 3 days or so.
How was the process been mate? I have just ordered my second enhanced blood test which I know will come back low so what happens after? How are you feeling ?
On TRT if feels like negative thoughts are sort of whisked away in seconds. I used to chronically overthink and replay every conversation and situation. Now I just DGAF.
I’m starting on Nebido in a couple of weeks through the NHS, I think they’re going to start me on 10 weeks and see how I react to it and adjust accordingly.. if all that fails then I’ve got a private TRT clinic who can prescribe enanthate.. only benefit with NHS is that I’ll be getting free blood tests
The point about the gym and go impression is valid, I’ve lifted for years, within the same two week period I tested 7.7nmol/l total T and squatted 200kg in competition at 88kg bw (no history of peds)
Just been tested with Alphagenix as having the symptoms…..(T = 11.1 FT = 0.195). so both low but within the normal range…I’ve been prescribed cyprionate 100mg twice a week……I’m thinking of getting a second blood test with optimale so I can get a alternate treatment quote of them…
My mate Andy wants to try this but is to scared his psycho misses would find out ! Would he have anything to be ashamed of if he took TRT ? please help asking for a freind 🙂
For me personally I didn’t see a massive shift which was unfortunate. I definitely have more libido and better recovery. It also seems as though my depression doesn’t get nearly as low as it once did, like I would have weeks/months where I just felt absolutely horrible, similar with anxiety I generally don’t have massive peaks anymore. But overall for me it has been disappointing, I haven’t given up hope yet, for the first 6 or so months I was only on 10/mg test cyp a day. Which brought my total up quite high but my free barely went up and my E2 actually went down from my natural level. I then tried 30/mg a day which looking at the lab work is definitely too high. My free is now 40% over the reference range and my E2 has gone up 3.5x and is almost double the reference range. However I will say I don’t have a ton of structure in my life, I do think that’s pretty key, sure you fix your biology but if you’re not progressing in life you’re not going to feel good. As Dr. Robert Stevens says; “testosterone is a foundation hormone.” You guys had a house but a weak foundation, I had a weak foundation and also had no house lol.
Yes it looks like you have gone from too low a dose to too high a dose! Worth discussing further with your doctor, assuming you are with a clinic. Testosterone certainly helps men to feel good and lays a foundation for you to exercise, eat well, sleep well etc.
@@OptimaleTRT I was prescribed 200mg/week right away but I honestly believed I didn’t need that much, I honestly think 95-99% of men don’t need 200mg+. So I went with 70mg/week (10mg a day) to start. I meant to go up to 140mg/week, see how I felt and get tested again, then try 210mg/week if needed. But I jumped straight to 210mg kind of out of frustration. So now I’m going down to 140mg/week.
@@johnmoore1495 so you didn't follow the doctor's orders and did your own judgement of what you needed and then was disappointed in the results. HMMMM...LMAO

61, just came across this video and can relate to the symptoms, My GP, waste of time, using age and the attitude of “that’s how it is”. Will be ordering blood test in the new year and then start treatment, only two concerns, not a fan of needles or self injection, help
I’ll be on week 3 of TRT tomorrow. I don’t feel any big differences yet. Sweat like fucken crazy while lifting which is rare because I use to rarely sweat. Hopping things will kick in. I’m on a low dose at the moment. 100ML a week.
I am 32 years old and for the last 1 year my testosterone level is 1-3 nano gram/ milligram and I am very mentally and physically disturbed. The doctor told me to undergo TRT 6 months ago and at that time I thought that I should recover naturally by some other means but I could not do so and when I went to the doctor now, he refused to do TRT therapy and sent me home by giving me anti depression tablets. Please tell me what should I do now?
I've just had my second blood test on the NHS. My fist reading was 9.7 my second was 8.5 nmol. I'm waiting for the endocrinologist to reply to my gp with advice on how to move forward. I think they're planning on putting me on the 3 monthly injections.
I did a test and came back at 137. I am 47 now and have never taken any testosterone. I purchased another test with Hone ( hope it’s not a scam ) and waiting on the package now. I am hopeful this will help. I feel tired and sleepy by 2pm and I am very active. I feel that is holding me back. I don’t care about growing and body build. I only want to live my best life. Oh I also am not interested in sex at all.
I am in a similar situation. I am at 10nmols. Took years to find out as I am told its normal. I have depression, no motivation, told to loose weight, do more exercise. I sleep 4 times a day so just have no energy. This happened in my early 30s. 10 years of it. But the NHS will not help me.
My hairs quite thick. How much hair do you usually lose or does it just make it a bit thinner? I don’t suit a bald head so I don’t fancy that but I do want to get a test to see if I have low testosterone
Testosterone itself doesn't directly cause hair loss but it can raise your DHT. This is why the doctors get blood work in so they can monitor and make changes if needed.
@@OptimaleTRT is there an alternative to having to inject yourself for the rest of your life? Maybe in the form of supplements etc and is there a temporary way to restore testosterone instead of a lifetime way?
Great video guys. I just started TRT this week. I currently take the finistaride tabs, but I'd like to get the spray you guys sell. I checked your website but can't seem to find it
Last year my test was 17nmol, I realise this is mid range? But I'm 55, losing height, belly fat even tho I try and workout.. Can't sleep well, pee at night, get colds often... All the symptoms.. Is it worth me getting another test?
My levels were roughly 14nmol/l and I still feel like crap. Slightly overweight, have had man boobs since puberty, social anxiety and cannot seem to lose weight or put muscle on. I'm 23 years old and something just doesn't feel right. I've never felt particularly "manly" either. I just don't get it. My blood test was from the nhs and they literally only tested my "Testosterone" levels. Could there be other hormones at play here?
Free t is more important than total t. Excess body fat can mean high shgb which converts a brunt of that total t into estrogen. Many guys are also hypothyroid and go undiagnosed and that can also be a cause of low T.
I'm 52 years old and following having a vasectomy I noticed a big drop in my libido but also felt I was dragging myself to the gym and teaching martial arts or training generally. After a couple of blood tests my testosterone was at 0.9 to 10 and was told this is normal but I pursued this and have now been prescribed testogel 40mg daily. I've been seriously on the fence whether to take it and still am. The side effects do really worry me especially the hair loss. I have no baldness in my family but does this still mean I'll lose my hair? Maybe the spray you mentioned would help combat this? Do you have the name again? I certainly want to get my old self back and I do want to start, so if I can combat the hair loss then I'll be happier.
In my teens, I was late developing puberty and like a stick, which could be metabolism. By 18 I developed severe anxiety and moderate depression in bouts also very low concentration since a childhood with add. Also found out I have very low sperm count after three different tests. I'm now 50 and nothing hasn't changed still patchy facial hair add and bouts of anxiety still on anti depressants. So I'm beginning to wonder now if this could be one cause instead of all these different diagnosis. Have never been tested for low testosterone.
I am currently in the pipeline for starting TRT treatment with Optimale, testosterone levels between 3 and 11! On numerous blood tests! Recommended Cypionate (0.25 twice a week) pretty excited but nervous at the same time! What are the benefits of hcg? I’m 44 and have a family, Also if it doesn’t have an affect, is it ok just to stop treatment, My symptoms are low libido and fatigue. Cheers.
Great to have you! You will need to be patient when you first start as it can take a while to get the treatment dialled in. However, if you notice no benefit after 3-6 months then the doctor can help you stop safely.
Visited doctor a few days ago considering my T levels (total 16,8 nmol/L or 485 ng/dL and free 16,64 pg/mL) and he said it's all in a range and perfectly normal. I'm 37 yo, very active, hitting gym and running half marathons... I'm not sure if I got it wrong or these levels are a bit low...
The average total testosterone level in the 70s was 720 ng/dL, the average level now is 420 ng/dL. The average level will continue to decline and normal ranges will drop lower. Something is lowering our testosterone and it’s not normal.
Could it be that on average men are more overweight compared to men in the 1970's. The high the fat layer around the waist correlates with lower testosterone levels.
Insurance = keep u alive not optimal . You gotta go to anti age clinic that u spend $. There goal is to make you 20 again 1200 t levels . the old expression Youth is wasted on the young. Not with TRT . Get the youth with the wisdom of our old ages
I have all the symptoms of Low T but my free T is 0.26nmol/L do you think I should pursue replacement? Looking at the average fir a 50 year old it’s 52 nmol/L so I’m half what I should be !
Ive been getting symptoms of low T for a long time. I lead a healthy lifestyle, go gym four times a week, eat well etc. I did a test and it came back as 12.6. Doctor says that this is perfectly normal even though it's the lower end. Im 46 years old. Do you think i would benefit from TRT?
It depends on the individual. For most men twice or three times weekly is sufficient and they won't notice a difference compared to daily. If you are susceptible to oestrogen spikes then some men do better on daily injections. Our doctors usually start men on less frequent and increase frequency if required to combat side effects if they show up.
wow 13:30, This is me. Told about low testorone at 18 and ignored by NHS. Now 43 and 2 weeks in. Life changing, wish I new so much sooner feel like the NHS has failed me.
I feel shit all the time but get wood ever morning like most healthy men can my testosterone be low even though I'm working fine down stairs???? I'm 55 years old
What do you think to Testosterone Undecanote my doctor want to give me it every 10 weeks but heard nothing but bad things about it including that it doesn't get your test levels past 14 nmol/L and my natural test levels are between 11-13 haven't had a sex drive for 3 years and always lethargic
It isn't the best medication but it does work well for some men. Every 10 weeks usually leads to greater than 14nmol/l for a lot of the time. But your levels may drop below that at the end of the 10 weeks.
Analyse your lifestyle. -make sure to get over 8 hours sleep per night - don't wear polyester clothes or underwear - filter your drinking water. - avoid take away or heating your food in plastic containers - consider testosterone boosters like fenugreek supplements - keep a healthy bodyweight After doing this, get your levels tested and see if they improve
Currently if you go through Hone Health. They charge $120 per month just for membership and then $28 per vial of TRT so depending on how many vials you need per month will dictate total price.
@@vvragovmy doctor charged me 175 for the checkup and blood tests and then I buy trt from Kroger for 34.80 for a 10 week supply....that ends up costing $21.00 per week and if I get lucky and I don't have to go in every 10 weeks...it will cost less
To be fair, this is only one experience. Testosterone has also been shown to exacerbate feelings of anxiety and cause extreme panic. Everyone is different. Use at your own risk.
Great news. Keep up with your treatments and blood work.
How are you doing after a month now?
three days and feeling effects? Is that normal?
@@tdunn2 2 days for me and quite similar results. Very excited for the future.
41, I have never been on TRT. You explanation is exactly what I am looking for
Glad to hear it!

Any update?
Yeah bro I went to the VA and my doctor straight up said she wasn't gonna prescribe me testosterone even though I didn't even ask for that. I asked for my testosterone levels to be checked. First year they were at 370ng and the next year dropped to 341ng. Went to a doctor outside of the VA, he instantly said my levels are like a 65 year old man and I am now on 100mg cypionate twice a week for a total of 200mg. Levels and blood work are looking good and I feel better than I have in a long time.

Now I am, starting the journey again, private blood tests done, GP referral done and Endocrinologist appointment in a few weeks. ,
I heard that having TRT alongside HCG can preserve fertility.
Are you going on a journey ? Taking TRT is not a journey, it’s an injection . Is that a 🇬🇧 UKroid thing? Journey means injection ?

Would love to see you guys on a podcast with Derek (MPMD) 👍

My doctor did bloods for me earlier in the year after my body completely crashed out. I'd almost passed out in the gym on a Monday and by the following Monday I still felt that first workout in the week prior.. I knew something was drastically wrong. I had a chronic vitamin D deficiency and my Testosterone was 8.2. I was crushed. He gave me 4000iu Vitamin D to take everyday for 6 weeks and we had another blood test. My vitamin D was back to normal and when I asked about my Testosterone he said it was 11, which was the lower end of normal, no further action
I was a 17st heavyweight kickboxer in my 20s, that is NOT what my body considers "normal" at 36
I've been eating well, training hard, sleeping and while I'm grateful for being back in the gym I'm still not recovering well, getting tired some days and the weight id put on last year isn't shifting
I ordered a kit from yourselves last week and fingers crossed I can get some way towards getting the rest of my quality of life back
Update: Have been on TRT for two weeks now! Fingers crossed
@@Snaffdude hows it going?
You won't realise how good you feel on TRT until you come off it.
What were your testosterone levels when you were initially tested?
Ive answered yes to say many of the things you guys chat about. Test ordered.
My GP took me down the antidepressant road diagnosed me bipolar then adhd when I really had a fukin brain tumor .
Dude get the CPAP. Best thing ever. Going for TRY myself atm as well
that is a great point.
Nah bro just start if there is a clinical need

I don't think it will help if you are not low on T. Ask your doctor about another antidepressant or maybe changing the dosage
Prescribed medications can affect your hormone levels.

I am in a similar situation. I am at 10nmols. Took years to find out as I am told its normal. I have depression, no motivation, told to loose weight, do more exercise. I sleep 4 times a day so just have no energy. This happened in my early 30s. 10 years of it. But the NHS will not help me.
I just got back from the doctor and my level was 108... not good... starting treatment.... hopefully I don't continue feeling like death daily
Is there any uk equivalent to merek health. I believe I need tests done severely
I've been down for 5 years, start my treatment this week!
How ya doin so far?
Can varicocele at young age cause low T?
Potentially yes.
Most docs don’t know as much about this as a guy in the gym.
I'm pinning 0.1ml of sustanon 250 everyday with 25gx5/8 syringes (very gentle on my glutes 😅). So far so good.
14 is quite low. 15nmol is low enough to be prescribed
Free t is more important than total t. Excess body fat can mean high shgb which converts a brunt of that total t into estrogen. Many guys are also hypothyroid and go undiagnosed and that can also be a cause of low T.
Man boobs high estrogen
I'm 59 years old I'm thinking to start trt but my God I don't want to lose what hair I have
I'm 52 years old and following having a vasectomy I noticed a big drop in my libido but also felt I was dragging myself to the gym and teaching martial arts or training generally.
I’m 44 and have a family,
Also if it doesn’t have an affect, is it ok just to stop treatment,
My symptoms are low libido and fatigue.
Cheers.
Great to have you!
You will need to be patient when you first start as it can take a while to get the treatment dialled in. However, if you notice no benefit after 3-6 months then the doctor can help you stop safely.
Hi mate how's Yr trt going & have you had good experience with optimale. I'm thinking of going on as I'm low borderline test myself ?
whats up with enclomaphine, seems everyone is talking about it?
I’m 40 and just started my first TRT 2.5 weeks on now and it looks like I’m on steroids!!
Mine is 470 at 25 and feel trashed. Number is less important than symptoms to an extent. Your normal may be double that.
There goal is to make you 20 again
1200 t levels .
the old expression
Youth is wasted on the young.
In exactly the same situation Ross, going to do my second test soon
I’ve heard bad things about NHS TRT treatment. Is there another way?
Is daily sub q test cyp usually the ideal protocol?
along with HCG ?
@@trev1976 Just test cyp. Thanks.
How can I lower my SHBG levels alittle for free testosterone levels? I'm tired of being tired!
Take an aromatase inhibitor, a 12.5mg dose of aromasin every 3 days should be more than enough.
Boron
I feel your quad related pain - I accidentally knifed myself in my quad at christmas a few years ago, could not walk for a few days !
Do you use HCG or pregnenolone/dhea in ur clinics?
Tom said he grew his hair back, how did he manage that?
Hi John, he used to shave it all off but now he lets it grow. Unfortunately he doesn't mean that he grew it back after having male pattern baldness!
When you are doing all the right stuff and you feel like dog shit for years…… yea most doctors blow. Also try so hard to talk you out getting tested.
Best way to inject?
Please please dont use dht blockers. You need dht. Use microneedling and minoxidil.
Wait..are these 2 young guys on trt?
Of course
Did you even watch the video? They explain why, right at the start, in detail.
I feel shit all the time but get wood ever morning like most healthy men can my testosterone be low even though I'm working fine down stairs???? I'm 55 years old
Get it checked at the doc. I tested at 399 which is normal but low. I have an appt next week with a functional doc
I feel like this now but I'm just above the range where I can get trt
I love it I been ontrt for 3 months now
I got blood test results today. 6.10 im told its low. Doctor didnt give much information.. any ideas ?
Analyse your lifestyle.
-make sure to get over 8 hours sleep per night
- don't wear polyester clothes or underwear
- filter your drinking water.
- avoid take away or heating your food in plastic containers
- consider testosterone boosters like fenugreek supplements
- keep a healthy bodyweight
After doing this, get your levels tested and see if they improve
@@jacoblas1371 thank u

Well done and helpful. Thank you.
I'm seriously considering try as I just turned 40 and have alot of the symptoms but how much is this gonna cost considering it's a weekly injection??
In USA is 150$ a month including everything
Currently if you go through Hone Health. They charge $120 per month just for membership and then $28 per vial of TRT so depending on how many vials you need per month will dictate total price.
@@vvragovmy doctor charged me 175 for the checkup and blood tests and then I buy trt from Kroger for 34.80 for a 10 week supply....that ends up costing $21.00 per week and if I get lucky and I don't have to go in every 10 weeks...it will cost less
Thank you for sharing
Not to be crude but can anyone give me an idea of the cost? Im definitely interested but definitely on a limited income.
around £130 per month - with bloods required every few months at £80
Prescription I take to the pharmacy in UK, £18.50 every 6 weeks
I pay $150 per month that does include all bloodwork etc
@@247commonsensecan I ask which clinic you use for prescription , obviously I bet a lot is down to getting your bloods dialled in
Are you private as my GP dismissed it straight away and gave my anti depressants
Outrageous! These practices need to be stopped!
And also when you are a beginner do you start with 0.2g every 3 days for injecting?
Sustaton once a week is unkind.
I am about to start on testogel, would I be better off going for injections?
100% better off with injections. Are you with the NHS?
No I just bought my first batch of gel online.
Where did you buy it?@@grahamhobday5985
Is there any hair loss effects with testosterone enanthate 250m
To be fair, this is only one experience. Testosterone has also been shown to exacerbate feelings of anxiety and cause extreme panic. Everyone is different. Use at your own risk.
In High amounts yes. This why if you're deficient you inject a therapeutic dose. And if your anxiety is still triggered then there is another cause.
phytoestrogens are everywhere and in everything on purpose
If your a woman the dr can just prescribe HRT as a man you have to jump through hoops then your not guaranteed. Thank god for optimale
Mfw i have all these issues but 500ng/dl 😂. COOKED
You guys talk like the spice girls
The uk is a joke on this topic. Had to fight tooth and nail just to get treatment for raised prolactin that was hammering my test levels.
