For what it’s worth, I was able to bake loaves of this bread in my tiny toaster oven. To clear the element the dough had to be divided into 6 loaves. The loaves turned out mini but taste very good. It’s been my first attempt at bread baking in a toaster oven. Excited for the success. 🍞 Loaves were baked to 190 degrees. 😊

The results were perfect. The smell in my house this morning takes me back more than sixty years when my mother used to bake my favorite oatmeal bread. Just like then I could hardly wait for the loaf to cool enough to cut. And, just like then I cut off the heal and smothered it with cold butter. Wow!!! Next time I will be making more than one loaf.

I have been a bread-baking failure in the past, but this recipe was so easy and simple...if I can do it, anyone can do it! My daughter and I ate nearly half the loaf the first evening. The crust is chewy/crunchy, and the interior crumb is moist, airy, and chewy...like a yummy ciabatta or snacking bread...great with honey on top or dipped in olive oil. I sliced the remainder of the loaf and put it in the freezer in a zip loc bag. Thanks again!

Steve - I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your enthusiasm and videos. I've been making bread for about 6 years and have taught about a hundred people in classes of 10 or so to make bread. But, it is your video that I ask people to watch as prep for the class (thinking that some won't want/need to come to my class after watching your video because it is so thorough).
I use different methods in my bread - but no one does a better job of showing the beginner that making their own bread is so easy. I shared your "101" video today with a father who wanted his son to learn. I tell people that the reason I don't do videos is because you do such a fine job teaching/evangelizing the skill.
Thank you for sharing and teaching tens of thousands how they can make their own bread and know what's in it and ALWAYS eat fresh bread.

I made the honey oat bread, the only thing I added was some crushed walnuts to the outside as I was garnishing with oats before placing it in the oven. This bread was amazing. The crumb was chewy and flavorful. It was a huge loaf. It lasted 5 days. We like our crust crunchy, so after the bread was baked, I turned off the oven and placed the bread directly on the rack for another 10 mins. So good. Thanks Steve

I tried this last night and I was very happy with the results. The bread is insanely easy to make and it is moist and springs back when squeezed.

💗 2021-03-22 🍞🥖Steve Gamelin taught me to bake my own bread. I have been making them for almost three years, I mix with dried garlic powder, all kinds of dried herbs, curry, nuts, seeds etc. but also, cinnamon, honey or with extra sugar then you get sugar bread :-) No one makes bread so fast, simpel and much easier as 'Steve from no knead bread'. I thank you a lot Steve😃 Much loaf love from the Netherland

Nicole Paredes I was surprised, oats were not visible and texture was light , not dense .would like to add some flavor to it next time. Will have to experiment a bit. ( walnuts, some other seeds?)

I'm making my friends this loaf for Christmas presents. This is possibly the best bread I have ever tasted. I didn't have any bread flour so I just used all purpose Montana wheat flour that I bought at Walmart. It came out perfectly. I also did not dust it with any flour. I baked it in a vintage ceramic loaf pan. I have also used a dutch oven. Perfect every time. Crunchy crust and soft yummy inside. I call it the Covid bread because I never even touched the dough. P.S. I bought one of Stev's bread books for my Kindle that includes this recipe.
