Dr. Carr one of the books you mentioned I believe was Black Britannia by Edward Scobie. I just finished it yesterday. Thank you for the recommendation. I had my Granddaughter to check it out of her college library. They Want more than $2000 for a hard cover. You are correct it is very difficult to find some of the books you recommend. I learn so much every time I tune into you and Prof. Hunter. Always learning.....I'm 76 years of age and reading makes interesting and thoughtful conversations with my Grandchildren.

I was surprised to see more coverage for Betty White than Bishop Desmond Tutu. I found out on accident about the Bishop and was beat over the head with the news for Betty.
Actually, the coverage was expected for the country that we live in and who each person was to America. Betty was an American icon headed to living a century and having a birthday party thrown while Desmond Tutu was indeed an international icon but does not share contemporary media status as Betty White did. Solution: follow people in the governance structure on social media who give transitioning ancestors the coverage they deserve.
