Due to an Axis with focus on a lot of other things than the game the build wasnt as planned but we dealt with what we had.
Disclaimer: I have solved the beef with Grisha in private and I want to get less toxic myself when it comes to MP games.

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never understood the “late war” strat. I think that the entire point of fighting the soviets is to fight them before they are fully prepared. If you wait, you give all the ally’s more time to out produce you. (Which they already do normally) early war is a good start because they are less prepared for war then you are.
The later war gamble is that you :
- let the soviet grow stonger
- secure the west ine exchange
It can mean 2 things for axis. Either the Axis Sealion (kill england) in which case that means no D Day and thus the axis can fully commit on the soviets. Or the axis secure Africa with Suez.
If you do any of those then the allies have to recapture africa or england before D day. Which means that the axis can pummel a stronger soviet with full force. Also with coops the italian player usually is in charge of africa and D day wall. winning in either of those also means less micro for italy
@@alphathelbf exactly and an added benefit for taking africa is that you can then cooperate with japan a lot more like helping them with india or their navy could be brought to europe to do something like a sealion
@@alphathelbf wait. Why tho? Why do the allies need to recapture africa before d day? Why not just land in france and take advantage of half of the garison divisions for europe being in another continent? If they pull off to repel d day you get africa free.
In this case it got them Africa easy and therefore Gibraltar.
Italy got easy Imperium and could then secure the Med. Italy becomes a powerhouse.
This means that they stood a much better chance against D-days. Axis can't cover atlantic wall and the soft underbelly at the same time. But Atlantic wall only, they can hold that out for a lot longer, normally.
So yeah, there's risk to it but also reward.
@@janehrahan5116 the garrisons to hold africa are a lot less then the garrisons required to hold southern europe so taking africa allows italy to send most of their garrisons to dday making it really hard for dday to succeed and making it possible to push an allied dday out. Without africa the allies start invading mainland italy and dday wall gets thin enough that dday can land easily
it is legitimately because of cornflakes, basically the way it works is that the guy who got rich on cornflakes was a big traditionalist, he thought if kids were circumsized they couldn't jerk it. Now we don't have foreskin.

Didn't notice this until the end but you can actually see the sun rise in his window, where it's black for the first 2/3 of the video but around 16:50 you can the color changing until about 19:50 when the sun's actually risen.

how are front lines setup like that? like the tanks aren't assigned to the front line but they stay on it with the shield next to them like they have a area defence order

He has a garrison order in some random country that he will never reach, so thats the shield (you also get higher cap on maximum divisions per general). You have to keep in mind that you have to move all tanks manually if you set it up like that.

Ik you stomped the pones in the tournament but either give their mod a chance in sp (it's actually good) or join their weekly mp game. Most of the regulars were absent for the tourney sadly.

It’s not a good mod though. It’s not even a mod. It’s vanilla with a nerfed USA via code lock on sending attaches before giant wakes and a date lock on air tech. The ruleset is even worse where Japan and axis can grind in Spain. Axis can also grind Poland, Yugo, Denmark, and Greece. Everyone in the axis can realistically get double adaptable and 1k xp before WW2. Meanwhile the allies have no grinded generals and the soviets have to have a flawless grind and build to survive. No mistakes can be made on the allies. Not even in base game where the balance is supposed to be allied industry to axis military xp and general grind does this exist in the mod. USA is again locked out of their industry until late 38 or even 1939.

@@fimbulvetr4895 TBH, it's hardly a fair fight. Simply because, while you'd think it's a 1v1, it's a 1v4-5 for the USSR, because for like 2 years you're without Allied help if they take Africa, which means you're solo vs the entire Axis.

No Co-op for Dankus? Would having an unknown player make it possible for Dankus to be allowed a co-op? Cause all they would have to do is pay attention for a D-day and occasionally move the air. The most they'd do is push D-day back to the sea. And that's only if the rest of the Axis can't do it themselves for whatever reason. Sure, maybe Dankus would want to focus on one part of the front for a bit and the Co-op would be asked to take care of the rest of the front. But even still. A Co-op should be allowed.
I can't do it myself since I doubt my connection would allow it. But other people could do it.

Meanwhile the allies have no grinded generals and the soviets have to have a flawless grind and build to survive. No mistakes can be made on the allies. Not even in base game where the balance is supposed to be allied industry to axis military xp and general grind. However, this doesn't exist in the mod. USA is again locked out of their industry until late 38 or even 1939. Besides the rules being a dumpster fire and not ready for tournament play, the mod is hot garbage. The mod also lacks a defines file thus it is 50-60% slower than HMM, ElWolf, Horst, or Hoffstorical. Defines files where created a long time ago, just copy and paste spot-mods defines file ffs.
