Each multiplayer game that I play I'm advising the same rule as well. The New DLC played in the traditional sense is stilll 100% Usable without transport planes if you do it right. Just need to learn to stack the stats!

The only infrastructure you should build is in the very beginning before you swap to War Economy. After that, infrastructure isn't worth it.
