You guys can't make enough of these. The history, tales and love for these courses is also fantastic.
Keep it up.
Last September (2019), with my brother, I played 126 holes at Sand Hills over three days. I've been fortunate to play most of the great golf courses in the world. Sand Hills is the best golf experience there is
better than links course in Europe???? you play pebble?
How?
@@goutfromfriedokra3936In what world does pebble even come close to sand hills 😭
Agree..the best...on my way again this week...and the people are every bit as good as the golf course
This is so beautifully done. I wish they'd make one for every top 100 course
this
Was there a while back. A unique experience. Stayed at the cabins on the dismal river. Had a wonderful dinner at the clubhouse the night before. Driving your cart over the hill and seeing the. Purse laid out before you is a ‘wow’ moment
This would make a great U.S. Open
Except it’s private the us open is almost always played at a different public course
@@willperetti2020 The US Open is almost always played at a Private Course. There are 4 or 5 courses open to the public that make the rota, but that's it
@@willperetti2020 shinnecock, oakmont, winged foot, Olympic club???
@@willperetti2020 sand hills is private
I worked on a ranch just 20 some miles north of this golf course in the early 80's. The land is beautiful and the people are fantastic.
I want so many of these please!
These are my favourite kinds of videos
Man these videos are great. Aerial America for golf. With all the stuff going on in golf, this really is a reminder of why we love it so much.
This video is fantastic. What a course.
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE!!!!!
Love these videos
Beautiful and incredible.
My doctor is a founding member and I am going to play there in two weeks. My friends have gone every year and all of them say this is the best golf course in the country. Thank you for making this video. I have studied it multiple times so I can truly experience this courses greatness
Played it 4 times, well worth it's rating.
A BALLYNEAL VIDEO would go crazy, not as much history as some of these courses but so much more unique in my opinion
Thanks for a making a video about Sand Hills. This is my favorite golf course in the world. Some people dream of playing Augusta or St. Andrew's, or Pine Valley, or Pebble Beach, but my dream is to golf at Sand Hills. Hopefully someday I will be lucky enough to do so.
I’m on the same boat! If I could play one course in the world it would be here
Why am i thinking Yellowstone while watching this magnificent piece of architecture.....
Wow!!!!
please....do.....more.....of.....these :D
I would do anything to play this course 1 time!
These are the best videos ever! Can we please have Merion, Oakmont, Shinnecock and National Golf Links??
Yes, definitely NGLA!
Make 50 more of these:)
Do more of these videos
The best course in the country
No, it's private!
Agreed
@@chezchezchezchez and?
You need to do camargo club in Ohio
Y'all need to do Ballyneal
They should do it for all of the courses they rank in the top 100 and any new courses added to the top 100 in subsequent years make videos for those.
A private golf course that only members and their guest can play out in the in middle of nowhere. That makes a lot of sense .
Is this sarcasm? Because it really is brilliant. Youngscap knew what he was doing
@@drinkngolf6100 Yes it is sarcasm but I was thinking the same thing..how are there enough people out there to sustain it?
They have a short season and run extremely lean in the fall months. 80 percent or better of the seasonal help is local high school and college kids
The bunker on 4 looks like Ireland
I see
is that Heaven
Back 9 is not a par 37... there are 2 par fives, 2 par threes, and 5 par fours...
Is it fescue?
Yep
So... whos gonna get me on here
this guys voice is perfect for this, this guy is the white Morgan Freeman.
Looks like a British Open golf course.
Green fees ?
Private
@@zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz poor
Great series with terrible headers blocking the view of the holes
Beautiful, but I’m not really interested in seeing a private course that we can’t play.
Gary Davis oh that sucks for you
@@bbbricks6493 And MOST of us. Are you OK?
Actually, you can play if you write a letter and ask, IIRC
…So why are you here
@@drinkngolf6100: Cause I like golf
99% of golf digest content is total garbage, this however is excellent
The waggish brand recurrently influence because tax ignificantly mine mid a lamentable tie. fortunate, profuse sweater
Too bad only 1 percenters can play
@Roger Dodger still wrong. a very nice worded hand written can maybe get you on. Have to be 100% flexible with your tee time. Most likely going off first or last in the middle of the week
The only reason to ever go to Nebraska
Please do one of these for Fishers Island Club. FI is way better than this course. It's not even close. I'm shocked Sand Hills is ranked so high.
That course is nice but nothing compared to the courses we have here in British Columbia , Canada....not even close ....I am not bragging but just look up the best golf courses in BC and you will see......
LMFAO
Yeah I hear about courses in BC all the time. Not
Played it twice. Place is a dump
You’re probably a 30+ handicap. Don’t worry it’s not for you
@@drinkngolf6100 been a +2 for 30 years. Thanks though. You’re right…it’s not for me.
One thing I have noticed. All courses in America are private. I live in England, and go to Scotland once a year, and there are only 2 private courses I know off. American golf is a joke.
No, most courses are public, but a lot of the really well designed and maintained courses are private, as are most PGA Tour courses.
