Just watched this with my 2 y.o. daughter sitting on my lap. She has a very short attention span and usually won’t make it past 20-30 seconds of a RUclips video, but she was mesmerized for the whole 4:37! Thanks for the quality content! You know it’s good when it passes the 2 y.o. check!
Wow, you continue to put out fantastic videos, with amazing camera work! Always excited to see a new post on your channel and hope you'll hit the White River at Bull Shoals Damn sometime soon.
I liked how this video gives us a little primer on fishing the Green in the summer, and I really liked the short section on virtually fishing a small nymph, without indicator, to a feeding trout. I wanna fish the Green!
This is the way all flyfishing videos should be filmed. Showing the takes, showing the flies used, the need for long leaders and the beauty of the Green River. This is just perfect. Wish I was there with you.
Absolutely beautiful filmography as always. This video is getting me hyped for the rivers to come down some more here in CO so I can start throwing dries and foam. Can’t wait to see the rest of the videos in the series.
I just got into this fly fishing game roughly 3 years ago and started following your page! So much detail and great info to help on the tougher rivers. I’ve buddied up before and never thought of the advantage of one person sighting and helping your buddy dial into a fun fish. I’ve grown up playing baseball and seeing fly fishing as a team sport like this makes fly fishing that more addicting to me!! Great content, great tips, and I’m hooked, thank you! I've fished the green at least 7 times and it's always challenging as hell! This video has truly been helpful. I've never used a leader longer than 13' and now I see a fault in my ways. Thanks for great content!
Absolutely stunning presentations to the fish, exciting eats and hook sets, splashy fish jumps and drippy views of stellar browns. Inspiring angling and filming y’all. What a treat! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Some solid advice on the long leader, I’ve fished 17ft with 6x on a 4wt and people think I’m crazy but I’m catching fish and they are not! Love the videos!!!
I’ve been getting my butt kicked on those glides, all spring and early summer. looks like I need to go pick up a dry fly line and build up a 20’ leader. Thanks for the tips.
Gilbert Great stuff bud! Your videos are legit! Just watched this one and I’ve now convinced my wife to go fishing today! All thanks to you! Take care, Sean(Cedar Valley Bball)
Incredible film work! I was supposed to be there a couple weeks ago but the dam was opened and blew out the river. I’ve already planned a trip for next year.
I'm seriously considering a guided float trip next year. When would be a good time? I want to make sure that I make the most of my time and money. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime kind of a trip. unlikely I'll be able to do it again.
Awesome! I prefer the first week or two in April is your want to chase the blue winged olive hatch which has some of the best fishing of the year, or July when there are a bunch of different food options for the trout. Both times can fish great, you’ll just need to decide if you want cooler Spring temps (sometime very cold, other time t-short weather), or hot Summer time temps. Both can be a lot of fun. Good luck up there!
I love these sight fishing videos! That white wink is almost as good as a dry fly take!

GRRREAT dry fly eats! Dude, you’re one sharp cinematographer! Thanks for the vid.
Can’t wait to try my hand netting some snobby trout. Great camera work. Love this series.

Sick video guys, great info, your channel is putting out the best fly fishing content right now.
Thanks so much, that’s very kind of you to say!
Love hearing about/seeing technical approaches vs just the eat and the fight! Bravo 👏
This is the way all flyfishing videos should be filmed. Showing the takes, showing the flies used, the need for long leaders and the beauty of the Green River. This is just perfect. Wish I was there with you.
The shots with the lens half in and half out of the water are my favorite. Great video!
Epic video! Will definitely have to going longer on my leader next time I'm wade fishing up on the Green.
Absolutely beautiful filmography as always. This video is getting me hyped for the rivers to come down some more here in CO so I can start throwing dries and foam. Can’t wait to see the rest of the videos in the series.

Some great fish in beautiful country - what more could you ask...
I can only imagine how many tangles I would have with a leader that long. Time to head out on the lawn to practice my casting again! Nice work.
Unreal. Keep them coming Gil.
I love the sound of the hook set ripping the line off the water 😍
So happy to see this is back. I look forward to these every year. Great start. Keep up the good work! 🙌
Cant stop watching these vids mate bloody brilliant
Very kind, thank you very much!
Excellent cinematic experience, thank you for the way you captured and shared the trip!
I was hoping Devon would share his singing skills in the vid. That's the real secret to catching picky fish on the Green.
A master with the rod and a master with the camera. That's a setup for greatness.
Never have tried the extra long leader technique. Looks very effective. 👍🏻
Awesome video! I've never been to the Green River myself...but its on my bucket list for the year! So exciting!
Love it! Very entertaining. Thanks for the content.
Beautiful work 💚💚
Outstanding, I want more!

Green river is stunning as always. Fish on baby!
A new tactic I must try for the picky fish! Can’t wait to make it to the green!
Superb fishing in some skinny water coupled with great videography. The underwater shots are very truly artful!
I've fished the green at least 7 times and it's always challenging as hell!
This video has truly been helpful. I've never used a leader longer than 13' and now I see a fault in my ways.

I love fishing the Green! One of my top favorites! Great shots of beautiful fish in the “gin clear” water.
Rad video. Keep pumping out the great content
Amazing videography, true mastery of the long leader presentation
Let’s go Gilbert!! I’m gonna maybe tie some of those small orange nymphs now!!
Love those frabil nets, my buddies and me call em the fish tank
YES!! This year is killing me waiting for dry flies on the green!! Nothing like casting to rising fish on the green!
Great work! Excellent video!!!
These shots are amazing! It’s been a while since I’ve visited the green, I think I’m due and will have to try some dries!
Devon makes it look so easy!! Film quality outstanding.
Absolutely stunning presentations to the fish, exciting eats and hook sets, splashy fish jumps and drippy views of stellar browns. Inspiring angling and filming y’all. What a treat! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Sweet to see some awsome browns off of my home turf
Unbelievable! I can only image how challenging it would be to cast that leader! I need to get practicing!
Cool. Might have to try the long leader on teh Stellako R this summer!
This is intoxicating film work. Love it.
Some solid advice on the long leader, I’ve fished 17ft with 6x on a 4wt and people think I’m crazy but I’m catching fish and they are not! Love the videos!!!
