I'm in Joburg, South Africa and you have no idea how much I'm appreciating your content right now. Please keep it coming and one day, I'll come introduce myself in person. Your content is so helpful and with these and the kinda work ethic I have, I know I will make it👍🏾
This is so incredibly inspiring and informative! I’ve been doing my show completely on my own for 2 years on RUclips, and recently got picked up by a small streaming service, which is great - small steps, it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Thanks again!
So many nuggets of gold here, Stephan. Many of these things I already knew, but it took many years of working in the business to realize them. You articulated that well. While the first half of your video was interesting, chalked with info about getting a show made, the last half was truly inspirational. I always say, "creativity does not exist in a vacuum. You need to make it happen." This video lays that all out. Looking forward to the next vid on prep/prod/post. Keep rockin' it dude.
Hi Stephan Thanks for your video . I’m a filmmaker for now 15 years and I do use my creativity pretty well. I have come up with a TV game show . Where do you recommend I start ?
Such a massive journey ahead, but I'm excited for it and ultimately this is what I want to do. I can't stop trying until I put together the right package, get it to the correct people, and ultimately get my creation(s) developed and made properly.
Awesome! this was so helpful, I had a really hectic and traumatic experience and everyone is like you need to write about it I don’t live in the United States but still this was really good
Thanks for making this video it was very helpful. For some reason it's hard to get anybody to talk about marketing. What's the point of being a filmmaker if no one can see your work.
Are you exclusive with the outline order or can more than one network pay for an outline? What if you pitched one concept to NBC/ Sony with a lot of notes, etc and you also pitch it to CBS but THEIR notes are radically different? Can they both order and pay you to outline? When are you locked in?
I watched this video three times. Love it. It's so helpful. Thanks, Stephan. I need you as a contact. I have written books and just submitted one of my ideas to Tv Writers Vault. Keep making these videos, please,
A good idea for a television show is about a woman who some people don't like so they constantly frame her. For instance they frame her over own painting that she painted, by deleted videos cameras footage and paying people to lie,. A lot of cover up going on.
Wait. That’s not true. I forgot I helped sell a show called the Quest to ABC. I came in as a specialist to help with the pitch. Long story. Anyway. If you can land meetings or dinners or whatever. You have to have an amazing pitch. Hone it down and find a way to stand out.
This, by far, is the most informative, motivational and damn good video on this topic! THANK YOU, SIR

How much of this would apply to making an unscripted reality sifi show?
I have no idea. I’ve never been in the unscripted world!

Thought you were going to inform us on how to pitch. Disappointing
