Don’t mind me! Just a 15 year old guy who dreams of making the next action blockbuster franchise and become a great director. Too ambitious right? Well ambition is what makes movies so great. Wish me luck on my journey 😁 Although this video is just a tiny peak into the film industry, its definitely a little taste of what the entire industry and career will be like
Great Video! My favorite part of the filmmaking process is being in the director's chair and having the responsibility of ensuring that all other aspects of the process (acting, cinematography, editing, sound design, etc.) come together to create one complex piece of art that can be enjoyed by both the director and by general/target audiences. That is what I hope to achieve as I start my own personal journey towards becoming a filmmaker when I go off to college in less than a month. Cleveland State University, a couple years ago, opened their new School of Film & Media Arts which is the first standalone film school in all of Ohio. It's great as it is less than an hour away from my home.
Congratulations on your acceptance there! I wish you nothing but the best! Drop a line from time to time going forward to let me know how things are progressing for you.
I have interest in working in Hollywood as an Actor and Director. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little boy, but back then I was best friends with fear. These days I’m best friends with Faith and ready to take Hollywood, behind and in front of the camera. P.S. I will read this one day while accepting a Grammy, an Oscar or even a Nickelodeon award and it will inspire billions.
These days I too am best friends with Faith and ready to take on anything, and going to the moon and mars have been my dream since I was a child. I'm going to become an astronaut and one day when I come back from the moon and from mars I'll come back and see this comment. 😂😂😂

Great info. I am an independent film maker who studied and worked in Los Angles, Ca. I tried very hard to get into the big five, but somehow it didn't workout for me. I started to work on my friends films and even worked on some other independent film makers films in New Orleans, La. Now I like to see how the Big Budget films are made, but I do like the more hands on approach of the independent film maker.
Honestly, i think making a movie is hard but im still angry at directors for how stupid stories can be and how good some movies could be if they would change the script.
Great movies aren’t just about the script. They need great actors who can turn even the most mundane scenes into something incredible. You need a good director who can either bring that out or know when to give actors the freedom to perform at their best. A good director needs to create great camera angles and shots and also knows when to allow silence and cinematography to tell the story. The worst movies are just full of dialogue because the director thinks they need to fill every moment. A great movie knows when to breathe to allow the audience to think about what is happening.
@@Ranjith-zj9kq yeah you’re right, good dialogue is very important, but a lot of modern movies just have constant dialogue. If you look at some of the greatest movies ever made, it’s the good dialogue where needed, but also the incredible cinematography, sweeping camera shots, camera angles that increase the drama. A great example of recent tv is Breaking Bad where they employ this to great effect. You don’t need dialogue crammed into every second of a show or movie, it’s a visual medium as well, let the camera contribute to the story.
@@aldunlop4622 dialogue doesn't have to be lot of words. There are like so many words in todays movies which makes no sense at all and just a time waste. Consider movies like departed/wolf of wall street. They are amazingly well written and every dialogue makes sense. Compare it to some netflix series which dont make you feel like anything. Pure garbage
@@Ranjith-zj9kq yeah I mean ultimately a scene needs to convey a message through cinematography, dialogue, sound, music etc, it doesn’t need constant dialogue to convey a lot. Just off the top of my head, the scene in Star Wars where Luke looks up wistfully at the twin suns and says nothing, just the look on his face and John Williams’ music convey that Luke is disappointed and trapped and feels like he’ll never be able to leave farm and go off on adventures. The other one in the same movie is the epic scene where the Millennium Falcon is being dragged into the Death Star by the tractor beam, just the perfect visuals combined with the sounds of the engines and again JW’s amazing music is incredible. Both scenes convey emotion and (regret and fear, respectively) and a sense of grandeur that’s missing from modern Star Wars. There’s a million other examples in older classic movies too.

I think I have aspect to make it in Hollywood because it's like exercise and having fun with a friend. Making movies is like fun, but you got to learn about different feelings. That is one thing you got to master in Hollywood. Not only that you have to have humor. Like laughing at crazy stuff you do in a movie. When I learn about it ain't so bad.
So many people, so complex. How to keep it all in your mind. I guess it takes a village or more to make movies the way they do. To see just Jay Leno taping and the dozens of people working in the background. Amazing.
I’m a Project Manager, and a movie can be thought of as a creative project. It has an objective, tasks that need to be done, and a budget. The producers and director need to break down the project into tasks, and assign the right people to lead and perform these tasks. A good leader knows how to delegate work to experts and establish trust with subordinates so they feel empowered to complete their part of the project.

Who makes the story of a film? Not like the script but how to story goes on, like for example wandavision or another marvel movie or show, who makes the story? The director or the writer?
Both. Sometimes the director is the script writer so it makes edits and adjustments during film making easy.
