Dude, I want Keanu to narrate more do docu series. He seemed awkward but somehow connects with the artisans in his weird way. I can’t explain it but him being a huge star, he manage to find balance to make the audience listen to him and also be more interested to hear the artisan’s word.
He did a doc called Side by Side, about film vs digital. It's a must watch if you're a movie nerd.

the thing I love most about Japanese culture is the appreciation of art and nature. Having keanu in it is just the icing :)
Best decision was leaving NYC to raise our international family in Tokyo, Japan. I always wanted to reconnect with my roots as my parents are from Japan and now to raise our daughter here in Japan... It's such an amazing feeling. A lot of challenges but if you enjoy structure, discipline, great customer service, the laundry list of respect and kindness.. I would recommend visiting Japan. Life isn't perfect here but it is as close to harmony as one can find.
Sounds good. I guess if we can get as close to human consciousness as possible that is the best as we are the only animals to actually understand reflection when we learn how to as people.
Still I am in search of the perfect place. And I still believe that is a world full of domesticated animals and no humans other than myself. I have not found another place like it that involves humans.
I hope you the best but only because caring animals showed me this.

Living in Tokyo is best enjoyed if you have money-- especially with family. If you're single, you can live cheap and simple, but probably outside of Tokyo.
1:47, a beautiful moment. Keanu showed recognition and admiration for the man and his craft, and you can see the appreciation, he was almost speechless; yet he was humble about it.

My wife is Japanese and we have the chance to go to Japan every year. It's a priviledge to experience the Japanese culture. The world would be a better place if people, especially Western people, could add to their lives just a tiny bit of the Japanese culture and wisdom.
