    2004-2007 in my opinion had the best style with the under tail exhaust. But 2017 they came back with a vengeance the new gen fire blade is amazing looking.

      by far the best looking bikes especially the aggressive styling of the 04-05.

    Totally love the cbr1000rr. The only bike I ever mourned the loss of. In fact when I traded my first one in for a triumph tiger 1200. Within a week I was on the phone to try and buy it back. Sadly it had gone. After getting rid of the tiger. I got myself another blade. I now have a Fireblade and a Honda xl 125 for work and winter. Which is so relaxing compared to the Fireblade. Great combination of bikes. I don't drive just ride. Old school biker. ☺️

    The SC57 is a great useable every day bike, fast, smooth, flickable, side to side knee down it will do it all effortlessly. Meek as a lamb and fierce as a hungry lion In the twist of the throttle. The bike inspires confidence with great handling and stability combined with legendary Honda build quality. Easy to work on and service for the home mechanic. In a word outstanding.

    I was same way,i had gsxr1000 on my learners then sold it,i was too scared then had naked bikes and sport tourer,then after 6years and full licence ,traded my speed triple r 2016 for 2016 honda cbr1000rr non abs, mind u the triumph had abs,tc,riding modes and top braking system and still i went for the honda,the honda just had that wow factor,the power and handling,the build quality. Very very happy.

    I had em all of gen 04-08 era nothing beats the blade 04-07 in matters of rideability and easy to live with. Such a wifey with really stunning looks even for today it can cut into the mix with newer bikes in matters of looks. But my fav by far my black widow zx10R 05 ...king of the jungle. But for everyday riding cbr is a faster streer ride stock vs stock

    Nice video Brother! You forgot to mention the HESD(Honda Electronic Steering Damper)The 2004 CBR1000RR was the first Fireblade to come out with a steering damper.What country do you live in? Greetings from South Africa.

    I have a 2006 Repsol 1000rr.....really like the look and feel of the bike, but i do wish instead of a clock there was a gear indicator........oh and it took me a little bit to figure out it has an oil level glass instead of a dip stick.

      +MikesBikes, i have thinking about gsxr and cbr1000. I dont know which one i should choose, My mum prefers me to get gsxr, but i like fireblade as well, i am pretty sure I can buy one around 6k (gumtree or nwp), for the extra 1k, it is defiantly worth it buying a larger displacement, ride safe ;)

    Would moving from a 500 to a 1000 be too much of jump?

    • @zachbaker9507
      @zachbaker9507 8 лет назад +4

      A hell of a jump haha.. But if you trust your throttle control and maturity go for it.. Take it slow and learn the bike if not you'll end up on your ass cheeks.

      If you know how to ride moped (50cc) then you can ride everything pretty easy. Atleast for me it was. I jumped from 50-600cc :D
