Live from Australia the most uncut videos about motorbikes you'll ever see.

I'm just a guy who loves bikes. So I thought I'd try making videos about them. Emphasis on "try.

CBR250RR Exhaust Comparison - Musarri or Xcite Stainless?
Quick video showing the difference between some exhausts for the CBR250RR MC22. Mic isn't too advanced so doesn't pick up all the subtle nuances in the tone but the Xcite one is a bit quieter and deeper. And I did not get any no exhaust footage, sorry boys.

Adjustable Rear Sets - Probably my favourite mod
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.7 лет назад
Rear sets that can be adjusted are just amazing. Tall guys on sport bikes especially will benefit the most from them. I got mine from a guy who makes them in batches. If you want a pair for the CBR250RR there is a group of guys who race MC22's on the Gold Coast. They make their own as far as I can tell. You can find them here - teamtiger.com.au/bike-preperation/ Also at the start I notice a bol...

Did you had Any Problem with this valve Sounds ? I have that too but clearance is like it should …
I have same bike 06 i I love this bike only dont like gas gauge
Musarri sounds the best
Would you say there is a big sound level difference between the baffle and no baffle mussari?
Is it heavy? idk if I want a yamah r3 or ninja 650 (i know different bikes but offered them in a trade) r3 6.5 k miles and 650 with 8.3k I heard the 650 feels a bit sluggish especially at slow speeds. my main concern is the 460 lb weight 650 has. (im 5'10 and 160 lbs)
vggff
People pay big money for gp shift.....its better on thd street in my opinion....it wont take you long to get used to it
Listening to that thing wind out is such a trip. That bike is #1 in my book, hands-down, no comparison. The fact that you can experience that glorious soundtrack firsthand and not suddenly be going 200 kph is an extra perk for smaller displacement enthusiasts.
Very Nice Sound Baffle out on Musarri!
I just wanted to hear that V4 sing, but the talking didn't stop. Reminds me of my ex-wife. 😩
Going to buy one miss the in line 4 magic
The white & blue 3LN1 is all good & did Eastern Creek on the 11th of April 2022 . She is in good form .
cool bro
My first bike, an MC19 and still riding it. Absolutely great learner bike and SO much fun.
Just bought one and scared to ride it lol
Any change
@@theautobarber9403 Its 2005. 13000 miles on clock.
My mechanic friend Ricky is one of few that will still work on classic & vintage motorcycles properly . Not many shops will do other than very basic tasks due to the time consuming task of finding the correct parts as they are becoming scarce in some cases . They are trying to wean us off the older motorcycles . I hope that when I am riding my FZR 250 3LN1 that when I leave it in a public place that it doesn't get vandalised .
When I went to the day course , I was the oldest person there , instructors included .
I have been criticised for going back on the road riding after a 25 year hiatus . Also getting parts for the FZR 250 3LN1 that is being organised . Most motorcycle dealers won't touch anything pre 2000 due to the red tape finding correct parts & the refusal to fit pre loved parts from wreckers . A friend took his MC22(R) to Bikebiz & they reinstalled old defective parts leading to an engine failure later on & overcharged him for work .
I have a second FZR 250 3LN1 to rebuild for road use but I have faced criticism for returning to the road at 50 after such a long hiatus . The critics tell me to find a newer motorcycle instead in the interest of serviceability & availability of parts . Most dealers won't touch motorcycles from pre 2000 as the concepts are no longer taught at our technical colleges . You cannot lane filter in NSW until you are on your Silver license . Some 650s are going to be removed off the learner list this year in NSW due to recent findings of a technical nature .
16,900RPM !
I dont trust mine in the rain, my rear tyre is almost done, i cant decide if i shoud buy a new set of de power 3 or road 6 instead.... what is your opinion about this? i also got fz1n.
Your part of Australia looks so gelatinous. Come on down to Victoria, it's a lot more solid.
Try the FZR250 3LN1 or the 913 Across.
If you rechip your ECU , you will have even more fun . I have done it to two Tygas .
The stock seat on the MC22 is awful as is the case with the FZR 250 . Reupholstering makes a real difference . My Tyga has an electronics room made regulator / rectifier with parts from electronics suppliers which is better than the OEM one . It is over engineered . .The GSX-R 250 has the most comfortable seat out of the four makes . A friend had his engine fail last month due to constant redlining & hard riding in hot weather . A cam gear failed during an extended redlining session on a long hill . He missed a shift & the engine let go . These engines fail easily nowadays due to wear , their age & the fact that many have been thrashed & abused or ridden hard , they are not bullet proof . Gear driven cams are mechanically inefficient & make terrible sounds .
What ever happened to this bike?
I sold this bike a while back and moved up the capacities. I've tried a whole bunch of bikes out but the MC22 is still a favourite of mine. Currently, I'm on my 4th CBR250RR and also have a CBR1000RR for when I just wanna blow past traffic.
@@mikesbikes8854 I live in America and CBR250RR's are hard to come by. The one you have now, is it the nicest one? (I have an 18 Grom and I LOVE it!)
@@speakersteve9586 I'd say it's the nicest looking. In the process of making the nicest to ride ;)
I have a 2006 Repsol 1000rr.....really like the look and feel of the bike, but i do wish instead of a clock there was a gear indicator........oh and it took me a little bit to figure out it has an oil level glass instead of a dip stick.
Great bike, just not the R model. How exactly are these not as exciting as an in-line four? You must be meaning in comparison to litre bikes because the 675 more than holds its own against 600 in-line fours.
I had em all of gen 04-08 era nothing beats the blade 04-07 in matters of rideability and easy to live with. Such a wifey with really stunning looks even for today it can cut into the mix with newer bikes in matters of looks. But my fav by far my black widow zx10R 05 ...king of the jungle. But for everyday riding cbr is a faster streer ride stock vs stock
Great video, nice to see a local Brisbane rider too :)
Be thankful for what you have as others could only afford less or none at all. You have another 250RR so why didn't you trade it in for a 300R?
Totally agree. I was going to buy a 600RR but I live 9km from work, don't go on the highway and don't go to track. Why would I want to say in 1st or 2nd gear the whole time? Also I just bought a MC22. The sound amazing even at 60km/ph at 10000 RPM's.. The Gold Coast roads are 70km/ph max. Why the hell would I want anything else?
I open my garage door and see an Aprilia RSV1000 Mille and a 2008 Green Ninja 250R. I wanted a 2nd bike and didn't want another big engine. I wanted something good in the worst weather. Bigger engines are fine in the dry but can get out of shape in the wet.
Mate, I'm in my 60's and I'm not yet ready for a "dad mobile" -lol
Just bought one..its been abused and been left outside exposed to the elements of salty air on south coast U.K.. seized rear caliper blowing exhaust on headers ..but the engine oh man shes sounds immense my lockdown 2 project has started ..man cave is now theatre for surgery ..with beer snd whiskey involved ..best lube ever
Sounds just the bike for me and sound amazing 👌
The SC57 is a great useable every day bike, fast, smooth, flickable, side to side knee down it will do it all effortlessly. Meek as a lamb and fierce as a hungry lion In the twist of the throttle. The bike inspires confidence with great handling and stability combined with legendary Honda build quality. Easy to work on and service for the home mechanic. In a word outstanding.
Spark plug change is a b!%@h
100% the best bike ever made!! I have one and would not sell it for 50k
Great vid mate, one thing to note this is non-R model, those only came out in 2011 (with upgraded brembo brakes & ohlins suspension). Going to look at one of these tomorrow
???

Doesn't give you the shit I'm gonna die feeling he says, just after a truck tries to wipe you out, lol. I didn't die when that happened to me, but the badly broken wrist will never be the same, stay safe guys.
Awesome bike. The red ones are a bit faster :) Check mine out if you will.
Nice review.i just ordered some for my r6..you think you got traffic lights..come to the UK our country is built on them damn shit.
One thing I’ve noticed is that they do kick out some heat when in city riding in summer. But once I’m back on the move it soon cools down.
Sufficiently Breathless wow that’s crazy one would logically think that even some movement would help cool but not for this bike.
Sufficiently Breathless is there a nod to help this air fighting ha ha
Sufficiently Breathless right, many thanks. Lots of good advice
Don't get the 11 thumps down. I enjoyed your video I have the same bike you see it just like me. Enjoy m8.
Love my cbr1000repsol 2007 , I covered 30k km in Perth Australia And love my 2005 Repsol in Singapore, covered 76k km in Singapore and Malaysia Awesome 👍😊😊 Cheers
💟💗💜💗
I have a ninja 400 2018 but still want a mc22 for the inline 4 sound lol
its pretty rare for someone to be honest enough to say "its to much for me" good for you, thats a very healthy motorcycling perspective. I have moved from the big liter bikes to a 09 VFR800, I feel its the best decision I ever made, I LOVE the V4
Nick Massey absolutely agree. I’m on my 6th bike now, my 2000 VFR800 is a keeper after a cbr400rr, 2001 zx9r, gsxr k5 litre, cb900 hornet, cbr600f. The Suzuki was simply stunning but quite simply overkill for public road use.
I drove almost 1100 kilometers round trip to pick up my ‘98 vfr interceptor 5 years ago. Love the 5th gen vfrs! That winding gear-driven cam is a beautiful sound. Mine had 30k miles on it. Now 36k miles. Congratulations on your purchase.
Mine 2001 clocked over 100,000 km and still runs perfectly.
I got 13 bikes...including one of those..a 2001....
Consider shipping it to Norway if you deceide to part ways pls. Rode one in 1999 and cant get it out my head.
