- Renewing your Nigerian passport just got easier! Join me as I explore the newly improved process at the Nigerian High Commission in the UK. In this video, I share my experience and guide you through the step-by-step application process for 2024.

*STEP BY STEP OF APPLICATION PROCESS:*
1. Visit the Nigerian Immigration Website
2. Select standard ePassport
3. Select UK as your processing country and start your application
4. Create an account and log in with your email address
5. Fill out the application form
6. Make payment
7. Print out a copy of your application form alongside proof of payment
8. Keep track of your application ID and password (also emailed to you)
9. Book your interview appointment through the Nigeria Immigration Services website or Nigeria High Commission website: [Nigeria High Commission](www.nigeriahc.org.uk/)
10. Fill in your application ID and reference number
11. Ensure you print out all slips

Nigerians in the US who have applied for passports are wondering why their applications have to be sent to Abuja for the issue of passports.
Wow ! I didnt know that. Is that still the case as of today? The UK system seems to be very different. The question is why arent all the embassies or high commissions giving the same service?

What document do one need to take to the biometric appointment in London?
@@Chinyereola hello . Is this for a brand new passport or for a renewal ?
For a renewal. Outside Nigeria
@@Chinyereolaa printed copy of the passport application form that has been successfully completed, dated and signed. A copy of your NIN. That information must match what is in your passport. A printed version of your appointment booked via the Nigeria immigration service. Administration fee will depend on where you are based . The appointment are still 3 months from the application date, they said its 2 weeks from application date and now i can only find appointments in London high commission from 28th July
Perhaps that could be due to backlog or a high demand. I’m not sure

For the UK-based, why is there no option for kids' passports on the application system, secondly there are only two options for the passport pages, 64 $230 and 32 $150. This doesn't seem right at all for the citizens of the UK. It's a reap off.
Hello. Is this for reissue or brand new passport application ? I was of the opinion this was possible on the portal for under 18s
@ANaijamansPerspective Both reissue and new passports are the same process and method. No much options if applying from London. it's just nonsense
