My daily habits currently consist of few major things and then minor stuff changing along the way. Same as you, I love spicing up the rituals with new stuff every few weeks. The major ones are: meditation for 15 min (220 days in a row now :)), write down my main goals I want to achieve, focus on little moments during the day and stop rushing into the next task.

The life-changing habit I'm starting is to STOP trying to force my self to create a bunch of new habits. In the spirit of radical self-acceptance, I'm choosing to embrace my rebel tendency and its gifts. I used to wish I was more of an upholder like you but it's not going to happen. And that's ok ;) I love these habit/routine videos because I can pick and choose what feels good to me, what's in alignment with my values, or just challenge myself and see what results I get. Something I wish I could change is the need I have to have everything perfect before I start something. As in - if I don't have a nice workspace I won't work on the things I want, If my room isn't clean I can't organize it, if the laundry isn't done I can't declutter - There always seems to be something stopping me from making any real progress. I would love to see a video on this actually! I know I just need to start - just do something, but its so hard if I don't feel content.

My daily habits are ( except for calendar blocking ) pretty much the same as yours .. & I only wish I had started " giving myself permission " to take myself more seriously .. years ago .. I used to think that if everyone else said I was too old to start learning a new skill .. that they were probably right & now I know they are probably wrong .. I don't think that anything I have tried has been a waste of time .. & almost all of the skills are not in any way financially rewarding .. But if going after the life you want is also about feeling happy .. then the pleasure I had recently when I was able to play a basic drum beat with all four limbs doing different things at the same time .. well I felt So cool .. it put a smile on my face that has lasted inside .. for over a week now .. Money is not the only way to measure happiness .. Big love to you & all your subscribers .. I know that at 63 ish I am not in your usual demographic ... But I have been inspired by your words of wisdom so many times thANK YOU
I right my exercise on my white board calendar and then make a plus symbol next to it when I complete it. When I look at my calendar throughout the work I get to easily see if how on track I am with my goals

I've started writing all your tips into a notebook because they are important and though some of them smack me in the face, some of them are important but get lost and muddled in with my own procrastinaty-mind. Now I have a little Amy book. My biggest problem is waking up! I wish i could wake up feeling like I want to get out of bed and not making sleepy excuses to why it'll be fine to just get up 15 minutes before I have to leave vs the 2 hours I've allotted myself.

For the past couple of years I've kind of forgotten how to relax lol 😅 but I definitely need to get better at it because I'm going insane. Maybe once I figure out how to relax, I'll have the energy outside of my job to get moving on a creative career. It's super weird, but I keep feeling like I shouldn't be allowed to do what makes me happy if I'm not the most perfect at adulting ever (I'm far from it)...so anytime I try, I just feel guilty.
In my planner I have a number of week of the year. I use this as what letter surname I am going to contact that week (ie week 2 and 28 I will contact all people with last name starting with "B" in my address book and all social media.. It keeps me on track to make sure that I have contacted everyone one at least once each year.. Also handy for deleting contacts that you don't really want on social media pages as well... 🙂

I don’t eat for the first two - four hours of my day, then I eat small amounts of food as hungry throughout the day, or have a meal I can pick at throughout the day. We’re all unique, do what works for you because that is what is best for you
Love the great tip for those working at home and able to schedule fewer days for full make-up and business dress code. I intentionally schedule my weeks so that video calls, video recording, and out-of-office appointments are booked on one or two days a week. If I do the math, it saves me 3 hours a week (workweek) AND decision-fatigue.....in planning my upcoming week, I know exactly what I need to wear each day - professional or casual, make-up, no make-up.

For me the biggest problem is social media, I'm an amateur artist, I share my art on Instagram and FB, and I hate it! But I want to share my art also... Every time I'm posting something it gives my anxiety, I'm finding myself reaching for the phone many times and checking how many likes I got, from who, and from who not, madness. I decided not to post for 7 days, and literally, it changed my week, I got more stuff done, and I'm more relaxed and happy :)

I’ve been planning to write a book for a long time now, but I haven’t really written anything in a long time coz of a depression I was recovering from. I have this fear that what I write is going to be trash and no one’s gonna read it. I want to change that and stop procrastinating and finally sit down and write the book.

In all seriousness that gold star chart works. We should all do at least one thing each day to care for our inner child spirit. This weekend I’m celebrating 2 years of being free of abuse and standing up for myself. 2 years ago when I finally broke free I was such a wreck. Actually it was so bad my organs started to shut down because I was starving myself to feel some type of control in such an abusive environment. I was in such bad shape I had to write and chart everything I ate and did from water to brushing my teeth and showering. Now I’m further along and I no longer chart the basics as they have become routine. Now I just chart my masking schedule and the extras like when I’m adjusting to a new active skincare product or when I use ExfoliKate or DE Sukari Babyfacial or something extra. A fun idea is to treat yourself to a mask in the morning. My favorite is the rose petal mask from Fresh. You can use it daily and it’s only a 5-10 minute mask. Store it in the fridge it feels so nice especially this time of year! It’s my time to stop and smell the roses and appreciate the morning. Thank you for this channel!

I don't have any social media and no youtube app on my phone (deleted it) so the only thing I scroll through sometimes when I wake up in the morning is pictures of my kids♥️ usually I read a few pages now when I wake up (if the kids let me) Best way to wake up! But if you have distractions on your phone like social media and such, or if you receive e-mail notifications on your phone, I would definitely not leave it next to your bed.

I don’t eat for the first two - four hours of my day, then I eat small amounts of food as hungry throughout the day, or have a meal I can pick at throughout the day. We’re all unique, do what works for you because that is what is best for you

Love the great tip for those working at home and able to schedule fewer days for full make-up and business dress code. I intentionally schedule my weeks so that video calls, video recording, and out-of-office appointments are booked on one or two days a week. If I do the math, it saves me 3 hours a week (workweek) AND decision-fatigue.....in planning my upcoming week, I know exactly what I need to wear each day - professional or casual, make-up, no make-up.

I never heard of Amy before . . . I ordered her book on Amazon and was curious so I looked up her videos. Now I think I am in love with her (virtually) so I need to get busy reading her books and watching her videos.

Consistency is the main thing I want to change. I have only a very few hours to accomplish what I want to accomplish. I have been 4 and 7:00 to do my morning routine and it is a hit and miss most of the time. Thank you for your encouraging videos!!

For me the biggest problem is social media, I'm an amateur artist, I share my art on Instagram and FB, and I hate it! But I want to share my art also... Every time I'm posting something it gives my anxiety, I'm finding myself reaching for the phone many times and checking how many likes I got, from who, and from who not, madness. I decided not to post for 7 days, and literally, it changed my week, I got more stuff done, and I'm more relaxed and happy :)

I’ve been planning to write a book for a long time now, but I haven’t really written anything in a long time coz of a depression I was recovering from. I have this fear that what I write is going to be trash and no one’s gonna read it. I want to change that and stop procrastinating and finally sit down and write the book.

In all seriousness that gold star chart works. We should all do at least one thing each day to care for our inner child spirit. This weekend I’m celebrating 2 years of being free of abuse and standing up for myself. 2 years ago when I finally broke free I was such a wreck. Actually it was so bad my organs started to shut down because I was starving myself to feel some type of control in such an abusive environment. I was in such bad shape I had to write and chart everything I ate and did from water to brushing my teeth and showering. Now I’m further along and I no longer chart the basics as they have become routine. Now I just chart my masking schedule and the extras like when I’m adjusting to a new active skincare product or when I use ExfoliKate or DE Sukari Babyfacial or something extra. A fun idea is to treat yourself to a mask in the morning. My favorite is the rose petal mask from Fresh. You can use it daily and it’s only a 5-10 minute mask. Store it in the fridge it feels so nice especially this time of year! It’s my time to stop and smell the roses and appreciate the morning. Thank you for this channel!

I don't have any social media and no youtube app on my phone (deleted it) so the only thing I scroll through sometimes when I wake up in the morning is pictures of my kids♥️ usually I read a few pages now when I wake up (if the kids let me) Best way to wake up! But if you have distractions on your phone like social media and such, or if you receive e-mail notifications on your phone, I would definitely not leave it next to your bed.
