You can indeed snap a door to the side of the destroyed trailer. You have to put a mobile home door on first, then swap it to whichever door you prefer. In fact this prefab came with its own dirty version of the mobile home door! Really liking your usage of the improvised bed in the home. I wish we had more options for improvised style furniture. My fav so far has been putting multiple mattresses on pool tables, then flamethrowing it to stick chests and things under the pool table to double as storage space.
From what I'm hearing there's a whole bunch of stuff that can be done with these that I hadn't expected. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that there's a door for it hidden away though.
I've been playing around with this a bit (at the Cranberry Bog island you've previously featured) and you can snap metal staircases to the trailer in a few different places (roof, doorway, and the gaps in the side).
Very nice! Another builder I follow on YT pointed out that this prefab actually has stair snapping points on it at most of the openings! I don’t know that it would have worked with the wide wooden stairs you used, but the narrow metal ones snap in just fine. Hopefully Bethesda will keep doing this on future prefabs (and ideally retrofit the old ones, but that’s a long shot).
This build came out fantastic. I like the shop area being inside the run down camper. Like someone decided to repurpose it. The house addition fit in perfectly too. Thanks for sharing.
There's quite a lot of stuff you can pick up from vendors around the game. Seasons are a great source of bits and pieces to decorate with too. And the Atomic Shop if you want to go that way too.
@@DarthXionGames it's mostly fallout first stuff, and ultra rare plans from bundles past I am missing. I have EVERY vendor plan. That took...a long long time. 😝
A surprisingly simple build minus the decoration, I'd use it myself for my Raider character if it weren't for the fact I also want to implement some kind of throne for him
I've been wanting to do a raider build for a while. There's a bunch of stuff still to come this year that should be good for that. I'm going to be keeping my eyes open for that sort of thing. Raiders are a big part of Expeditions so we'll probably get a few cool bits in the coming weeks and months.
I figured out the Rusty gate can fit nice and tight in the openings. You can then snap the chain link fence to it and even swap it out with more chain link. I just wish they’d given us the little platform stairs that are attached to the ones already in game. 😃
Been using this in place of a regular trailer but my most recent Ash Heap build didn't quite work for me. I take alot of inspiration from your top tier videos to make good looking camps. Stoked you did something with this
It took me a while to figure out something I was happy with on this one. I really wanted to do a more complete job of repairing it but it wasn't going the way I wanted. Happy with the result here though. 😎
@@DarthXionGames I used a great deal of chain link myself. I'll have to track down that Junk Wall plan. You can really do some amazing things with it. Great work as always.
Dunno how I did it coz I'm a bad builder, but I put a door with steps in that trailer doorway. I kept trying all my doors until one fitted, but I can't recall which one it was.
Someone mentioned that there's a specific door that works. I can't say I looked particularly hard for it, but it's definitely something to remember for a future build.
At 12:40 you have a black rubber floor mat under the punchcard station. Where is that in the build menu? I was looking for it the other day and could not find it for the life of me!

Oh, that's cool. I may have to investigate that!
Really great example of the junkyard aesthetic. Very creative!
Thank you!

Great build. Definitely appreciate seeing the finished product in both night and day.
I like adding night time tours if the build suits it. It's not always the case though. Gotta keep an eye on the video length too! 😅
Okay. I don't have all these bits for decorating...but this...I love this. Very much. Now I need to learn the darn merge glitch.

They are recycling a lot of old bundles, so it's time to make with the atoms and earn to buy.
What’s funny is a did something kinda similar when it first came out lol. I put porches in the front and back and then mushed in a door like you did.
Love this, after 6k hours finally built something that not a 3x2, thanks for the inspiration
I think this is one of my favorites out of all your camps! I really want to try this. I love the scrappy vibe!
Been checking out this channel. Not sure how I've missed this. Amazing builds.
Thank you very much! 😊 Welcome aboard.
Months on and I'm still kicking myself for missing those chain link fences.
Great theming build as always, very lore friendly.
I think the chain link fences are In the store at the moment. They were part of last year's Halloween bundle which is available again.
brilliant as ever, well thought out, lore friendly, excellent location, love it..
That’s really cool. I like your builds
Thank you! ☺️

Talk about Halloween stuff I got a sweet haunted house over near the Mistress of mystery Manson location on Xbox

I know right this guy's awesome😎👍👍👍
I love your builds so much
Thank you! ☺️
Awesome build! I love the scrappy vibe and how you used the new trailer...still need to pick up that bundle :|
It's a fun set. I think I'll be using it again in the future.
This was outstanding. How’d you get the stairs up to the trailer?
Cheers! I showed the steps fairly early in the video I think. It's a pretty simple technique.

Hey Xion, what exactly are those tires you use to elevate turrets? they look pretty cool!
They're "cement tires" or something to that effect. They pip up on the Atomic Shop from time to time.
@@DarthXionGames Thanks!

It's in the same row as the blue vault tec mat. ☺️
