Thank you SO much to everyone that submitted your videos to me. There's so many good creators out there and i wish i could've included everyone! Hit this comment with a thumbs if you'd like another video like this in the future!
I must have missed the video with the opportunity to have you edit our B-roll. I would have totally liked to see what you could do with my latest project. Guess I'll keep an eye out for the next one.
I've noticed all photographer's and cinematographers all use high end gear. What about doing something for the average Joe or someone starting out who may only have entry level cameras eg Nikon d3200 or canon 1100d or older stuff like camcorders. As although there are very creative people like urself on youtube I think ur real skill wud be to see what you can do with older cameras and without many features ur modern cameras have . Give me a top of the range camera and I will probably be able to match a lot of stuff out their or even do better
@@TheVapingHeed I've already done a video where I shoot a cinematic sequence with a 500$ camera. And no, just because you have high end gear does NOT mean that you'll be able to shoot like a professional.
Sandwich guy here :D This made my day Peter, thank you for choosing my B roll and you killed it with the edit.. definitely gonna start playing with key frames more.. if you ever visit Serbia, give me a call man!
Am always learning, I love editing b-rolls. I have been shooting my clips just using my iPhone. I am saving up ,to get the proper gadgets. As it is so expensive 😟I have found my new passion. That is filming and editing.
This is like third video I saw from you and I have to say, I am starting to like your style a lot, funny, on point, humble and very friendly in general and smart, professional at the same time. Subscribed :) Thanks for doing this and inspiring/motivating us all!
Peter Lindgren it reminds me of the Ranting Swede from sheep in the big city - an old cartoon from about 15 years ago, I would pay good money to see you do a ranting series about video related topics in that accent 😂
This was awesome. For me the original videos was already great and can't think of options how to make a b roll out of those videos but you really did an awesome job. I learned a lot in this video!
Fantastic video! Loved the mods and feedback. I only do a limited amount of key framing and very little rotation at the moment, but its tempting to do more after seeing this!
I even saw the post in the community feed regarding this Broll challenge - man I wish I submitted. This was great and I hope you do more of them. Nice job, sir ✌️✌️
Kim Sjöberg - which camera and lens did you use? All handheld?
5 лет назад+1
Don Vu, Hey man! I use the Sony a7iii, HLG3, with the Sony 28mm 2.0 and 85mm 1.8. Dji Mavic air for aerial shots and all hand held! I use camera strap and the camera close to my body to make some of the shots more steady! Cheers
Thanks for including me! Really really like your take on the video, thank's for the tips I would love to get a tutorial on the keyframing you did in post to get a better understanding What music did you exactly use?
You're most welcome, it was awesome to be able to edit your footage man! Thank you for allowing me to edit it and thank you for submitting it! Will get back to you on that with an E mail!
Been binge watching your videos Peter, they are super helpful for someone starting out like me! I def wanna learn about key-framing and incorporate more movement shots ie. twisting/ rotation. My favorite here was Kim's video and gonna use that for some inspiration on my travel videos. PS - I have a close friend in Stockholm and your voice reminds me of him lol. Thanks so much bro! :)
I must say, this type of video is really going improve skills of the viewers and people who participated.i am looking for more videos like this one in future
Peter... this was great... I really learn a lot from his type video. It’s great for editing and sequencing ideas, but also really helps with strategies for filming. Thanks.. would like to see more like this...
They are all very good indeed. Your input is very nice Peter. I love watching it! A minor issue to me is those TRANSITIONS Sounds (you mostly removed all of them lucky ).. this is a very annoying unnecessary trendy
Wow wow to be honestly, this is the best best best video that I have ever watched. I love it so much because the way you got those videos and re-edited it with the best feedback, help me to learnt new things and see what I can improve. I am just a beginner learner about camera and to see this videos, it helped me want to learn more. I am really appreciated your videos. If I have some questions, can I ask you for advise? Thank you
Damn i got so much to learn when it comes to B roll lol. I've just started introducing more of it into my videos and i realise how far behind i am. Really enjoying this video though, gives me ideas to work on.
Sorry for Swedish - Men något skönt med dig och dina videos som gör att jag unnar dig 1 miljon följare och ett fantastiskt liv med skapande. Keep it up och bränn inte ut dig. Vi är kvar!
Loved this! Was great seeing how other creators think through B-Roll. Look forward to more of these in the future. Good stuff to look over before I shoot some B-Roll of clients throwing a football for a tailgate party ad.
I really do apreciate these kinds of videos do get different perspectives on how people wouldve edited a video. Will look more into keyframing motions of the shots i film! Great submissions aswell!
Great video Peter and all those who send in their B-rolls, great stuff. I have 2 questions. When you use effects like zoom out or rotation on videoclips, as you did here, do the program (Premiere Pro or Final Cut) first zoom in to make it possible for you to use zoom out or rotation or how else dont you get black borders in the corner or up and sown (when zoomed in). If you zoom out to much on a clip you should run out of footage? Or am I missing something?! My second question is, im using the Osmo Pocket camera that shoots in 24/25, 30 or 60 fps. I use 60 when I plan to do slow motion in post, and for what ive seen 24/25 fps is the normal real life frames that looks best. But then what do you normally use 30 fps for?!
I've learned a lot from this video. I don't have yet the courage to make these type of videos, but I've took notes and one of these days.... Thanks again.
One thing Peter,, we need a tutorial on how you give a finishing cartoonic touch to you thumbnails.. hope u know what i mean.. there is this final look that sparkles your thumbnails.. i really love it.. wanna know how this is achieved.. thx.. Kelvin.
Hey peter, nice video, man! Learning a lot from you. Those keyframes, do you do in final cut? Is that something i could do in premiere or i'd have to move to after effects?
Hello, I am from the Dominican Republic and I am also feelmakers recorded videos with my smartphone and it was amazing your video of how to show others how to edit the videos better from your opinion Thank you very much
Great video Peter. What is your favorite most versatile Sony Handheld lens for B-Roll? I love my Sony 24mm GM and want add next lens for more closeup B-Roll handheld lens? Would Sony 55mm f1.8 or the Sony 85mm f1.8 better to pair with my 24mm? Do you use Edekrone Sliders or Wings for any of your B-Roll?
For B Roll i'd definitely say the on you already have, 24mm GM. I think a good add on to it would be the 40mm Batis because of it's close focusing capabilities!
Dang man how did you get so good in just a short amount of time? Amazing. Ive been filming/editing for 5 years and still suck! LOL Guess I better keep smashing the like on your videos so I dont miss any....
