Most RUclips DIY makeovers make it look so easy. I love how you show the good and bad with the process of DIY! I can’t wait to see your Chanel blow up!

I love your comment of swearing all the way through. I took a 4-Hour Home Depot training class on laying tile. Then I tiled an 1800 sq ft house. And I was swearing all the way through! I am still proud of that project

Girlfriend, new subscriber here after your last bathroom video. I hardly ever comment on RUclips videos but i had to let you know how impressive your work is. You should be so proud of what you are learning to do as a DIYer. The money you are saving is almost as impressive as the satisfaction you should feel in creating a beautiful space. A suggestion on removing the tile on the backsplash, use a heat gun first and warm up the tile. That will soften the glue and make it easier to pop it off. Always has worked for me. Loving your makeover

ive been looking forward to this. Super excited to see the counter top be made and it turned out awesome!. I after you ran the teo halves through and sanded it. I wouldnt have known the counter top was made from several rectangerler wood pieces glued together. the new counter top with the new backwash was better then the old one. looking forward to the next video. i will mention seattle weather same as florida weather. It could be sunny and hot but you'll see people with umbrellas cause the rain can come any time. Winter is rare to have snow but 24/7 rain is our snow lol. worse days are our wind rain storms.

I think you could have used a little more glue - just kidding, ha ha ha! It came off pretty easily though. You came up with some pretty good tricks for putting it through the planer.
The counter top looks really good - the middle you cut out - well....there's your 1st cutting board!
I like the wider back splash on the back & sides, just because it's more practical for water splashes. It's going to look so good once it's stained and sealed. Nicely done!

Second comment; If you look for scrap granite or quartz you should be able to find a piece for your countertop pretty cheap. Around $50 bucks?

Maybe your dad will get you a joiner next! That will make your glued together boards completely flush.

Never try to pry from the porcelain side of anything, if you went from underneath and tried to knock it loose you wouldn’t have to worry about chipping the porcelain.
