Most RUclips DIY makeovers make it look so easy. I love how you show the good and bad with the process of DIY! I can’t wait to see your Chanel blow up!
I love your comment of swearing all the way through. I took a 4-Hour Home Depot training class on laying tile. Then I tiled an 1800 sq ft house. And I was swearing all the way through! I am still proud of that project
Girlfriend, new subscriber here after your last bathroom video. I hardly ever comment on RUclips videos but i had to let you know how impressive your work is. You should be so proud of what you are learning to do as a DIYer. The money you are saving is almost as impressive as the satisfaction you should feel in creating a beautiful space. Girl Power is Real! Bravo!! 👏👏
A suggestion on removing the tile on the backsplash, use a heat gun first and warm up the tile. That will soften the glue and make it easier to pop it off. Always has worked for me. Loving your makeover
New subscriber here after your last video on this bathroom! I have to say I'm super impressed by your skills, sense of humour and timing, editing style, and willingness to try projects a little bit out of your comfort zone!! Absolutely love it, you're awesome, keep going 💪🏻
"Are you gonna need the whaaaa ch-ch, ch-ch?" I Loooooove it! I knew exactly what she meant! 😂 This is really beautiful! I made one for my pedestal sink a few years back. You inspired me to try again and make it better!
It's tough but you did great!!. I do all my own DIY too and it is hard work but satisfying. Hats off to all the men out there doing this kind of work every day. We still need you... 🤗
That was a lot of work, but oh, so rewarding in the end! I’m excited to see the completed bathroom. Plus, you got a laptop pad and practice on the cutting boards! 👍👍 And…I love the Van Gogh shirt.
I love watching your videos. Nothing is ever as we expect, but you keep moving forward. Rolling with the punches. You're awesome. Female carpenter here as well. You motivate me to takle more projects.
Girl! Just like me....we don't value our hard work or time! You inspire me. Thank you for being honest & showing us just how much work this little job is!
Just finished watching - I absolutely loved this video. The amount of work that has gone in to every angle of this is incredible x The new worktop looks fantastic - look forward to the next instalment :)
LOVE THIS!! (Quick tip, place a thin piece I’d wood behind your hammer or pry bar to protect your surfaces. It also helps with removing nails, with less work.
Going to be building this this week. My kids will love this. Living with parents and currently have to share a room, while it is a larger room, a crib and a toddler bed tends to take up a large amount of space. Hopefully this makes things a little easier
ive been looking forward to this. Super excited to see the counter top be made and it turned out awesome!. I after you ran the teo halves through and sanded it. I wouldnt have known the counter top was made from several rectangerler wood pieces glued together. the new counter top with the new backwash was better then the old one. looking forward to the next video. i will mention seattle weather same as florida weather. It could be sunny and hot but you'll see people with umbrellas cause the rain can come any time. Winter is rare to have snow but 24/7 rain is our snow lol. worse days are our wind rain storms.
For some reason I don’t own an umbrella if it rains I just run away from it or wait it out. I’ve been late to work several times for waiting out the rain in the car lol
I just found your channel yesterday and had to instantly subscribe. I love how you show such a real journey of reno and building, mistakes and all. And your results are so beautiful! Plus your and Toni's humor, yeah, instant sub. So glad I found you yesterday so I could get today's video! I'm so excited to see the end result!
New subscriber! I can’t wait to see the finished bathroom. You’re doing a good job. And if you go over budget, don’t worry, most people do when tackling renovations. It will be worth it if you like the end results. 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Yooooo Tiff!! Randomly found your laundry room makeover videos one day. Watched them all & now watching you tackle this. I subbed because they're raw, & TRUE, Oh & enjoyable!! Keep on, keepin on Sis, Dirty Jersey out!!
new sub here, the smoke alarm gig has to be the cutest sponsor ever, keep on keeping on, soon you'll have the big bo...girls contracts, I like very channel that has fun, humour and especially mistakes in it which we all do, u go girl!
Only thing i will say is never mud right over brown paper. Shellac it first (u had a can of it i saw). Mudding brown makes it ripe to blister. May have needed to let board rest in your house first. -U10
Can't wait to watch the video!! I know how long it can take... I'm 3 weeks in my entryway renovations when it should have last a week at most 😅 Keep up the good work ❤
Hello everyone, you did a great job and good luck with the makeover. I would also probably paint the bathroom with special paint, but maybe it's not necessary. Sorry, since I'm Russian and I don't know English, there may be mistakes.)
Beautiful! New subscriber, the lady making the sound effects, OMG I literally laughed out loud. I need to do this for two bathrooms. But I am tired after watching this LOL> We shall see if I can do this ;)
I think you could have used a little more glue - just kidding, ha ha ha! It came off pretty easily though. You came up with some pretty good tricks for putting it through the planer. The counter top looks really good - the middle you cut out - well....there's your 1st cutting board! I like the wider back splash on the back & sides, just because it's more practical for water splashes. It's going to look so good once it's stained and sealed. Nicely done!
I just found your part 1 to this a bit ago. I love how you keep it real. I do have a question though. As much as you do makeovers. Why not build you a nice size shed with electricity. Then you can set your tools up fulltime and not have to keep loading and unloading them. xx
Never try to pry from the porcelain side of anything, if you went from underneath and tried to knock it loose you wouldn’t have to worry about chipping the porcelain.

Most RUclips DIY makeovers make it look so easy. I love how you show the good and bad with the process of DIY! I can’t wait to see your Chanel blow up!
Thank you so much!! I try to keep it real sometimes projects aren’t easy and I agree a lot of videos out there don’t show that 😁
Same here! Love her authenticity and I saw another comment saying they love how she shows the good and bad. Love it new subscribers here too!
I love your comment of swearing all the way through. I took a 4-Hour Home Depot training class on laying tile. Then I tiled an 1800 sq ft house. And I was swearing all the way through! I am still proud of that project
😂😂😂 we gotta get through the project some how lol
Toni's sound effects were so accurate
I was thinking the same thing lol.
😂I understood her perfectly ❤

Good idea, also using a piece of thin wood between the tool and the wall.

I'm so inspired by your tenacity. I'm 65 years old and want to do some remodeling projects after I retire in 2026.
I am 65 too, and I want to do some DIY remodeling. This young girl gives me hope ❤
Just join a tile crew, you'll need the money for retirement, learn Spanish, and most importantly you'll get your DIY jollies for sure
Ooo the glue being scraped off was so satisfying! 😊
Ikr 😆
The accuracy of the saw noises was great😂😂
TONIS IMPRESSIONS OF THE TOOLS ARE SO ON POINT WAIT WHAT
"Are you gonna need the whaaaa ch-ch, ch-ch?" I Loooooove it! I knew exactly what she meant! 😂 This is really beautiful! I made one for my pedestal sink a few years back. You inspired me to try again and make it better!
I find your videos totally delightful! Plus, you are a good teacher. I love seeing these projects all come together, step-by-step.
Thank you so much!
It's tough but you did great!!. I do all my own DIY too and it is hard work but satisfying. Hats off to all the men out there doing this kind of work every day. We still need you... 🤗
I love the sound effects lady! 😂😂 she reminds me of me!
The sink cut out can become your first cutting board
Good idea lol it became my laptop pad for when I sit on the couch
That was a lot of work, but oh, so rewarding in the end! I’m excited to see the completed bathroom.
Plus, you got a laptop pad and practice on the cutting boards! 👍👍
And…I love the Van Gogh shirt.
Thank you! ❤️

I know right lol

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Claire :)
LOVE THIS!! (Quick tip, place a thin piece I’d wood behind your hammer or pry bar to protect your surfaces. It also helps with removing nails, with less work.
I love the sink counter top. I would've opted for a sink to sit on top.
Going to be building this this week. My kids will love this. Living with parents and currently have to share a room, while it is a larger room, a crib and a toddler bed tends to take up a large amount of space. Hopefully this makes things a little easier
A Maple 1x3 stained to match makes a great backspash for a countertop built like yours
I love the trees behind your outside work area
Thank you for providing the confidence I need to take risks in my home repair and improvement!
You’re very welcome ☺️
Toni is a delight! 😂

Toni's sound effects! Big belly laugh by me and my husband. Had to watch it twice!!!
😁
one suggestion, You could also use a vessel sink instead of a mounting sink to display the beautiful butcher block countertop that you made.
You have the greatest gift of all... believing you can... looks so good!
Thank you ❤️
Your videos are so fun to watch! You make me laugh and learn all at the same time. Your mood board is inspiring! I'm definitely borrowing some ideas.
Oh thank you!
OMGGGG. I should have watched the entire thing before commenting. Using MDF board on the table saw is BRILLIANT!
Thanks it worked pretty good
I 100% enjoyed this REAL bathroom remodel video. Thank you for putting out a genuine experience!
The snacks with the new sink purchase is so me LOL love it

You do great work, and the fact that you can handle power tools is amazing.😊 I’m still trying to master using a drill lol.
A drill was my very first tool :)

😁
You got skills good job👍 I enjoyed watching
The countertop turned out so nice!
New subscriber! I can’t wait to see the finished bathroom. You’re doing a good job. And if you go over budget, don’t worry, most people do when tackling renovations. It will be worth it if you like the end results. 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼

Love Border Collies! Great job kon the makeover

Can't wait to watch the video!! I know how long it can take... I'm 3 weeks in my entryway renovations when it should have last a week at most 😅 Keep up the good work ❤
yep that sound about how my projects go lol
Can't wait to see the finished bathroom! You do nice work.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Great job!!!!
Hello everyone, you did a great job and good luck with the makeover. I would also probably paint the bathroom with special paint, but maybe it's not necessary. Sorry, since I'm Russian and I don't know English, there may be mistakes.)
Thanks! Here special paint is not required but I’ve seen some specifically for bathrooms that are mold resistant :)
You must be my long lost twin 😂 I used the same sage color in my home AND the black harware
Beautiful! New subscriber, the lady making the sound effects, OMG I literally laughed out loud. I need to do this for two bathrooms. But I am tired after watching this LOL> We shall see if I can do this ;)
I don’t blame you it always turns into a bigger project than it seems lol
"Are you gonna do the WHAAA TUCHA TUCHA?" 😂😂😂
Great work you’re quite handy lol and you have some nice tools for a diy’er
Hey 👋 new subscriber here, so far your bathroom is coming out beautifully, I'm excited for the next video!!.
Thanks ☺️
You’re a dynamo! ❤ glad I found your channel ☺️
You should have used the cut out flipped it over to the pretty side and made a backdrop for a picture or something and used it
Doing a great job, keep up the hustle 👍
Thank you! Will do!
Excellent job, my friend ❤️
Thanks Jeron :)
@@diytiff Your very welcome
I think you could have used a little more glue - just kidding, ha ha ha! It came off pretty easily though. You came up with some pretty good tricks for putting it through the planer.
The counter top looks really good - the middle you cut out - well....there's your 1st cutting board!
I like the wider back splash on the back & sides, just because it's more practical for water splashes. It's going to look so good once it's stained and sealed. Nicely done!
Thanks! I would have used more glued if I didn’t run out 😂😂😂
Very cool, looks amazing.
Love your talent and content ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Yay! Another video. 😃
You have 3 choices: 1. Good. 2. Cheap. 3. Fast. You can only pick two and whichever two you pick completely excludes the third. Universal law.
True!
I just found your part 1 to this a bit ago. I love how you keep it real. I do have a question though. As much as you do makeovers. Why not build you a nice size shed with electricity. Then you can set your tools up fulltime and not have to keep loading and unloading them. xx
Soon, very soon I will be doing that :) I have a shed it’s just became a storage unit and barely any space to work but I’ll be cleaning it out
Midwest sent me!
Welcome to the channel ☺️
I would have painted the mirror green also.
the music during the glue-up had me crying LMAOOOOOO it was so scary and ominous
You are amazingly,awesome!
Use the cut out to make a cutting board. Preserve all that beautiful work you did.
Nice DIY
great job!
My home two sinks cedar wood and bowl sinks / rental pine
The candy bars when you’re picking up the new blade and sink 😂😂😂
Second comment; If you look for scrap granite or quartz you should be able to find a piece for your countertop pretty cheap. Around $50 bucks?
Maybe your dad will get you a joiner next! That will make your glued together boards completely flush.
Came across your video, not sure if this was asked before, but how come you didn’t just paint the counter top?
👍🏽 from another DIYer
I mostly didn’t like the tiles around the edge and painting it would have still have that look :)
Never try to pry from the porcelain side of anything, if you went from underneath and tried to knock it loose you wouldn’t have to worry about chipping the porcelain.
Yay! ❤️❤️
What tool was used to scrape up the wood and glue?
A wood chisel
@@diytiff thank you!
