Several examples of Private Company and stolen/repurposed assets do belong to both Colonial Corporations and Private Military Cooperations. So while we might not see a Spartan IV join up with the Banished, nothing stopping some PMC groups wearing Mjolnir joining up.

This one of the biggest reasons I don’t like the banished as a faction cause they don’t really have an end goal. The Covenants goal was the great journey, the flood was created by the precursors and end goal was to unify the universe under one hivemind, the forerunners thought they were supposed to carry the mantle of responsibility, but the banished kind of just exist. They’re fighting a war with no real motive and they’re just really boring.
That’s the point. Everyone has some massive mission they’re carrying out. The banished are tired of all of that and just want to live their lives however they want. No strict rules, no code to adhere to, nobody threatening to execute you because you said something blasphemous, no holy wars. The banished are just people who want to live on their own terms.

Humanity reclaims the Mantle of Responsibility and decides to grant the Jiralhanae a new homeworld to make amends and allows Ateiox to rule it as long as he keeps the peace 3. The Prophets could return (been teased several times now) and he and Arby would definitely have reasons to want to ally against them then Honestly I hope he does survive, he's a great character that has a lot of potential for the future

It’d be cool to see a group of human banished warriors in the future, for example captured marines. Not to mention, I can imagine quite a few insurrectionist cells would have very willingly joined up, this could be a perfect excuse to have insurrectionist enemies in a proper Halo game. With insurrectionist and unsc defectors making up the lower ranks, ODSTs and perhaps even Spartan rogues showing up as special forces/higher rank units. It could definitely give the Banished a twist that distinguishes them further from the covenant.
Which brings into mind a interesting question. What spartan program will likely be the most likely to defect. In all honesty, the spartan-IV would possibly be the only group of Spartans that would defect. Considering they are candidates who are from the conventional forces that voluntarily (who also met criteria) choose to become Spartans. Also considering they're the more emotional group of Spartans who actually discuss frustrations and concerns.

With insurrectionist and unsc defectors making up the lower ranks, ODSTs and perhaps even Spartan rogues showing up as special forces/higher rank units. It could definitely give the Banished a twist that distinguishes them further from the covenant.
What I wonder is if that would apply to Spartans who defect.
Then in Halo 7, we see Spartan Locke as banished 💀

Which brings into mind a interesting question. What spartan program will likely be the most likely to defect.
In all honesty, the spartan-IV would possibly be the only group of Spartans that would defect. Considering they are candidates who are from the conventional forces that voluntarily (who also met criteria) choose to become Spartans. Also considering they're the more emotional group of Spartans who actually discuss frustrations and concerns.
The Free Folk from a Song of Ice and Fire would have loved the Banished.
