The colours are so striking. Amazing how quickly your country side topography changes. You are an absolutely gifted filmographer. Well done to Gylfi! Good hiking to you😊
don't think about us, just worry about keeping safe while filming, and follow your passion, filming what you can even if you don't post anything this month, we will all just wait for you, no worries!
I think your followers are way more patient than you yourself. We appreciate your work! And since your footage will stay on your channel forever, the Islandic summer colors will warm people's hearts also later.
I'd like to vote for you to be our news commentator everyday. You have such a calming voice. Thank you for your hard work, those beautiful videos, and please be safe.
Thank you for providing coverage on this topic for everyone outside of iceland. Even tho the media isn't very interested, i definitely am because i love iceland
I have never been to your beautiful country but your film melts my heart. You make your homeland look majestic yet peaceful. The colours are amazingly vibrant and the landscape stunning. Thank you.
That is really a mess with your country, everything is so unpredictable. The weather, the volcanoes and what not. Please, let the pressure go, we love all your videos, take the time it needs for the making. Thank you for all your work. Your country is beautiful.
Agreed, Personally I can wait until the dark winter nights to watch this channel. If that means a pause for the next month or so so be it. You are not in charge, Mother Nature is !
I always look forward to your next upload. I am in America, next to the Mississippi river in fact close to Memphis Tennessee where I retired from naval service. To have a way to see the world, and places I have not been before (and will not, the chance is gone) through your eyes and those of many others is a thing I find priceless. I once circumnavigated the entire world on a US NAVY ship and still did not see enough of it all... Thank you, I mean that sincerely
We drove the 425 road to Grindavik last Monday until we were not allowed to go further anymore. We wanted to see the lava fields from previous eruption, but couldn’t reach them. Now I’m following your channel for news and for videos of the coming eruption
I am so grateful for the updates and work you put in for us here on RUclips. You take care and we will be grateful for whatever you’re able to do. No pressure whatsoever. Stay in good health my friend.
Take care using time well also means taking time for yourself family and health. I appreciate your ability you are talented I enjoy your explanations. Regards from australia
We just happen to live in an era where events near and far can be recorded and viewed in real time from all over the planet. No earlier generations had this opportunity to learn about our rock as we travel through space in all the history of the worlsy, we are the inly ones who got to watch Reykjanes re-awaken as a volcanic system! I just hope that the Italian volcanoes calm down, as a Campi Flegrei event would set us back significantly...
Your videos are always beautiful, and your narration is perfect. Please be safe in your travels, and I'm sure we'll be here for whatever and whenever you post. Take care.
Thank you Gylfi...your volcanic island is certainly keeping you on your toes...I remember all your videos using the thermal drone...they are great because you could ''see'' just how far the effects of the rising temperatures are reaching...atb from Scotland 🌋🌠
Thanks Gylfi, here in north Sveden our summer is short to, winter nocks on the door in October and we look forward to new fresh snow. Stay safe, I love your calm and heart red feelings for your country. Greetings from Aannai in Sweden
Good evening Gylfi, Thanks for the info and the beautiful videos. Here in the Netherlands we had the first two weeks with almost no daily rain and high(er) temperatures 25-30°C. After the coming, maybe hot, weekend temperatures will fall back to around 20°C and of corse regularly rain showers. Enjoy the summer while it lasts and stay safe.
I'm amazed at how steady the vehicle-mounted camera is! After seeing it from the drone, I thought that the view would be shaking a whole lot but, no, steady as a rock.
It almost doesn't matter to me where you're filming, since you get fascinating beautiful videos wherever you are working. Additionally, you tell us so many interesting things about the places you are getting video of that I always look forward to seeing a new video drop. I am never disappointed. Every video you put out is a masterpiece, and well worth watching. Keep up the great work, and we will enjoy it no matter where you go.
Wonderful footage as always Gylfi but please don't put yourself in danger! Stay safe n well, wishing you best regards on the Beautiful Volcano Island ICELAND. TFS, GB :)
The colours are striking. You really are an excellent filmographer. The topography is just amazing. You really are very gifted In this field. Geez knows what else! Good on you!
Thanks Gylfi, I just got back from Iceland today actually. Yesterday I visited Fagradalsfjall 2021 eruption site and from there you also have a good view (although some distance) to Sundnukar lava field with steam being emitted. I drove to Vogar via Kleifarvatn and spent the night waiting for the eruption to start until I had to return the rental car. Unfortunately, no spectacle before I left...
I love the thermal drone footage, brings more understanding of what a hot road looks like. In the UK if it’s “a bit warm” we freak out when the tarmac melts. Thank you and have a good trip wherever you may wander.
Thanks for the update, Gylfi. I'm looking forward to seeing your shots from the Highlands, the country around Askja has its own kind of desolate beauty, Last time I was there we took a jeep ride south to the edge of the Holuhraun lava field and had a swim in a river that was flowing alongside and being heated by the cooling lava - a very special experience :)
Hello Gylfi, I have been following you since before Christmas and love your posts. Thank you. I'm from New Zealand and am coming to Iceland in September as part of a tour group. We're supposed to be going to the Blue Lagoon, but that will be in the Lap of the God's. Time will tell. Thank you again for your most impressive work . Ruth
You are very good at this. Thank you so much for all that you give us. It is scary, interesting and utterly fascinating as we wonder how Icelandic people cope with their world.
Thank you for sharing and uppdating 😇🙏 cause I am very interested in ICELAND a lot.💞 💙❤🤍 Every day following all about ICELAND.. Maybe cause of knowing A couple and there family lived in Kalmar of Sweden in early of year 2000. And finally for the first time visited ICELAND - driving South East to Vik and Hofn Also stayed one night in KATLA HOTEL.. So we are planing to visit ICELAND next summer (again) A Nature beuty - Wonderful Nature to explore every where... Best Wishes from STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN 🌷🌼🌻🌺🍀🌲🌲🌲
I wish I could return for a visit. 1973 is so many years ago. With maturity I would be more likely to have a new appreciation for the beauty that I saw then.
Not only are you a talented film maker but also you are a brave man. Be safe as you practice your art.
Clearly G is nuts. Brave as hell, but crazy. I know he is always going to be safe😂

Hi Gylfi 👋 hope you stay safe. Its a turbulent world we live in huh🤗🇦🇺🦘
Wow, amazing thermal imaging. Thanks
Glad you like it!
I wish you the best of luck with the weather in the highlands.
I love the thermal drone footage, brings more understanding of what a hot road looks like. In the UK if it’s “a bit warm” we freak out when the tarmac melts. Thank you and have a good trip wherever you may wander.
Have a good time on the road and show us what you got…
I’m looking forward to your next videos.
Thanks 👍
Nice to see that old Landcruiser still in shape and working. Driving over the highlands must be quite a test for any car and driver. Stay safe!

It is amazing how the Icelandic people cope with all of this. They are so well prepared for any situation.
