Damn I’ve seen like 4 or 5 reviews of this shoe and nobody pointed out the subtle changes to the shoe at all.
It's like buying a new car that you really, really love... and then seeing the higher trim level drive down the road. Ya know? With the tinted windows and the slightly larger rims. You still love your car but you also crying on the inside.

FINALLY!!!!! They fixed the 3’s shape ! These are basically perfect ! I’ve been hoping for Jordan brand to fix them and looks like they did . Now they look sleek like a Jordan 1 !!!
I was so lukewarm on these 2 days ago. I passed on the shock drop, but now I can't wait for All Star Weekend! Totally in on these.
1yr later i still have mine barely creased at all. People slept on them but these were the best 3s ive ever bought.

Damn they look better than expected. Not super into a dominant red colorways but man I just love the 3s. My black cement 3s have been my beaters since the release. Hoping to get this too.

I'm so glad you go on a whole rant about the toe box here. I could spot that difference across a football field. It's the exact reason why I had to let my Justin Timberlake 3's go. That toebox was literally A BOX!

I love these...didn’t know about the cut on the front panel until this video...so the cut on this version is more true to the OG version of the shoe (1988)...I’m glad these were an easy pick up...I actually doubled up on these!!!!!🔥🔥 Great content. 👍🏼

I just bought the freak 1 but just as nightwing performance review,they were ok but seeing how Giannis play bring confidence to my game.

I’ve noticed that the elephant print on the Jordan three’s have looked extra chunky for years, and thinking that they looked different than the original!! The red cements and the Carolina’s are the closest retro 3’s to the originals that I’ve ever seen.

Lets clap it up for nightwing, Jordan brand has been hearing you and they’re making strides to give us what we want as true sneakerheads!!! A PROPERLY SLOPPED TOE BOX. Now I just need them to make the mud guard on the 12s thick again like the 1996 models!!!
Also the “one stitch line” on the heel cement print leather matches the OGs
the thing that makes Chris/weartesters my favorite sneaker channel/reviewer is that i am actually learning MORE not just the tech spec but also the history of a shoe. Some but not all other youtuber is just for the hype or just because the shoe is new. (i just realize it after watching some review of this same shoe) at the end Thank You Chris aka Nightwing2303 and wear testers.

You should watch The Good Place with her, it’s actually funny. Totally agree on the changes being huge improvements ... 3s are my favorite silhouette but man I wish my Black Cements were this slimmed-down model. Maybe they can do an OG colorway in it soon - I’d love to have True Blues in the slimmer profile plus better materials than that 2016 version.

These right here are exactly what I was waiting for ( colorway ). Most people on social platforms opinion was negative about these, save a few. I'm sure after they see your view ( and others ) they will begin to gain a liking for them. Typical of those who judge before even knowing, seeing.
If you individuals are not interested, good ! That means an extra pair for somebody that really does like them.
I asked the question to one of these " old heads " on another channel and said that he only bought originals because he lived that time period. Which he followed by saying if there was no Nike branding on the heel, he wasn't interested. So I asked him regarding these and although it isn't an original color, because it has that Nike Air branding, he co-signed them ( 🤔??? ).
I guess this really makes a difference for certain individuals.
A good shoe and a good color that was not expected.

The toe box and ele print are the way the black spizike was made that came out about 4 years ago - compare to a pair
Being a Chicago dude born and raised and the all star game hasn't been here since the year I was born (88) I really wanna get my hands on the Nike Chi versions even though Im not the biggest fan of this shoe overall as far as the colorway.

I thought I was just imagining when I saw leaked pics and thought it was closer to the og but glad to see them going back to that looks much better. Hope jordan brand keeps going back to that I really want to see them bring back the og shape for the 5s I think the recent retros have been terrible even the shape on the 5s from 2006-2007 were much better than the recent ones.
The 5s have alterations made to them. We’re excited to see how they turn out.
You should go look at "early pics" (authenticity is obviously ambiguous) of the 3M Fire Red Vs retro set for March. That upper is the closest to the original pair I've ever seen them get on Jordan Vs.

I couldn’t agree more... the last Jordan 3 black cement let me down. The tongue definitely looked like a skate shoe. The last Jordan 4 white cement also had horrible quality and was the most stiff sneaker ever. I hope they rerelease the Jordan 3 black cement to its original shape and tongue. I thought I was the only one who noticed those small differences

Its been a long time coming but Jordan is finally on the right path with the retro remastered shoes. Moving forward hopefully this is how all retro 3s are made this way.
Your one of the few shoe reviewing platforms that actually understand how nice these 3's are. The remastering that's on these is enough to grab these but too many people are getting influenced by other shoe tube channels that these aren't worth copping. Hilarious really...great Vid Wing!

Well now I kinda just side eye my black cements. They always just feel chunky when I wear them. "Skate shoe"is the perfect way to describe them.
Shape looked awesome. Saw the toe box and the tongue, almost made me want to buy a pair but then again it wasnt an OG colorway. I'm going to wait for the white cement 3s (all time fav) release hopefully this year. Please make it happen JB/NIKE.

Great video, it’s dope to see someone actually notice the things you mentioned as far as cuts on the cement print toe box and tongue. For many newer shoe heads they’ll complain but they make the shoe look way better and less bulky. Keep up the great worK!!!!

not sure if someone already mentioned this: the next after silver is the gold anniversary (50 years), then diamond (75 years). maybe platinum is next to diamond (100 years) but not 100% on that. 😊

Love the vids Chris! But I think that the AJ 3 Black Cement's Toe Box looks better than the UNITE version. While it is closer to the original, it looks fake, and it looks too flat.
ima have to pass on them but im happy they are finally doing a PROPER remaster.
Only thing im mad about is that i could’ve got these cheaper for like 135-180. just never thought these would sit. Nice colorway, basically a reverse Black/white Cement
