- That's right it was time to change it up a little and go for something totally insane!
I have finally got myself another ⅕ Scale Petrol RC truck after 14 years!
It's the new 30 degrees north 2.0 RTR short course truck which is a Losi 5ive-t clone but this is the new updated version and it looks insane!

How you like the 38cc? Runs like a champ? I’m in the process of either getting one going brushless or possibly do the 38cc if they have motor. I will be buying the 29cc rtr black since it’s available. Actually it will all be a parcel trade for as I’m letting loose of my v3 raminator brushless.

My opinion is that people complain. These gas ⛽ and nitro cars are no louder then a dirt bike. Piss on the haters. Thank for the video.
Except there's laws against exhaust on dirt bikes and atv's for sound levels in access (Decibels) and can't run whenever wherever for reasons but see where you were trying to go.
They're way quieter than dirtbikes and quads. Up close, they can produce similar Db; but as soon as you are 50feet away, the purr of a nitro or petrol RC is much less perceptible and produces less than 10 measurable Db above ambient.
The much larger dirtbike and quad engine reverberates for a couple hundred feet farther and is generally more perceptible.
Legally, sound ordinances require the sound at the threshold of your property be measured. Said sound must exceed a predetermined amount above ambient for any repercussions to be taken against you.
@@inawrocki207 most people don't have large enough front \ back yards to run a 5th scale RC.
So we go out and that's where (at least in California) the noise ordinances be like: fvck you, guy, one person complains and the homeowners association sends out the police and then every time you drive by, even just passing thru, and the cops get called.
I have one of them , bought 2nd hand , engine was knackered, upgraded to a new 30.5 cc engine. On half throttle breaking in at the moment.

Nothing wrong with treating yourself to a pricey RC, this beast should last you a very long time. Next, find a 5th-scale gas group and join them races.

Great to see a nitro, something different. I would be interested in getting a nitro in the future but you really need to find places where you don't bother others and thats not so easy.
This isn’t a nitro, it runs on 2 stroke petrol/gas

I personally love my 30DN truck its been pretty much faultless since the day i bought it a couple of years ago. The only things id do to improve it right out of the box is a new pull starter cord as they snap really easily and fit better servos. I used parachute cord on my pullstart and its never snapped since. Really happy overall though and I'd highly recommend one for the money you cant beat them 👌

I've ran the 30°North truck for about 3 years now. It's been great fun and very very robust.
To keep the body subtle spray with wd40 etc every 6 months.

Loved my DBXL but pricey to replace parts and took up so much in the house as didn’t have a garage. When Pawn Racing and European distribution centres shut down overnight prices almost doubled. £900 for a Losi 5ive became twice that. Shame. Least these 5ive clones make them a bit more accessible price wise! Pleased to see you selling the kill switch idea. A must have!!
1:5 scale 2 stroke engine sign me up. Pipe is tuned as well by its appearance. 30°N has come a long ways and peaked my interest.

Your videos are mint. Here is my Christmas pudding vodka recipe. 2 sticks of cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground mixed spice
1 lemon
1 orange
300 g currants
200 g chopped mixed peel
450 g light muscovado sugar
1 litre quality vodka
Let the mix infuse for a couple of days and job's a good 'un.😊

If I were to get a petrol rc this would b the one. Obviously I’d love something like a losi 5ive T but the price is too much for me. 👍🏻 if I were u I’d put a Taylor rc engine in that at some point

Don’t think you can get better than the Arrma 1/10 4x2 range or the gorgon. Then a decent battery will take you to around £200 with lots of room to upgrade the mentioned trucks

I've got the Rovan Baja, not had one complaint. I run it in my housing scheme and no one complains, only thing is if the schools are off I get the Zombies gathering. Had it out a couple of weeks ago and 2 kids were out with there mum, they stopped and were enjoying it, I don't mind, if I get kids and adults smiling I'm happy.

i seriously stopped buying pull start cords and swapped to using shoe laces. i have yet to break any of them as they tend to 'stretch' when you pull m.

Do they sell this with some ear mufflers as an upgrade option? Man that thing is sounding like an angry hornet. Maybe put some yellow vinyl sheet stickers on it for decorations. This thing is way too noisy for me though.

I have had plenty of nitro and a couple of gas powered Rc's in the past i rarely feature them as 95% of people dont like them :(

I rip my 1/5 Kraken Vesla all the time in my street right in front of everyone's houses lol.... got rudely told to turn it off one day and just told him he was jealous and to piss off lol, then proceeded to focus on driving in front of his house more hahaha

We have a beautiful little dirtbike trail area between some subdivisions we live in. Everyone sort of keeps it maintained and such by using it for dirtbikes, quads, the occasional truck testing something, and of course RC.
Everyone is respectful about it. There's never anything running before 10am, or after sundown.
There is, however, one Karen somewhere who thinks everyone should sit quietly and stare at a wall like her; so a cop occasionally shows up to chit chat about our awesome rigs so she feels better about herself thinking we're getting in trouble XD

A true OBA with a Short Course Radd looks ?! Been away from nitro since days a cars 12V battery was dragged out 100 yards to the Waters edge. Across the street Karen's Sun.mornings will never be the same . ( I need Bail $$ ,pls .)
