Always liked the 5th scales, but never bought one as thought it would only come out 4 - 5 times a year, how wrong was i, they are soooo much fun if you have somewhere good to run them.
Live feeds are really there to give chance to directly talk to viewers, but do get that its not easy for people to be available at certain times
I know you don't want to hear this but Callium is a really good driver.

Looks so much fun, but why is the track surface so bad at arc? Puts me off from going there to b honest.
ARC was a bit run down, its so much better now, has been worked on and also now has a timing system
The stock pull start cord on that 5t sucks!! Mine broke 2 times in the first week I owned it.
they are not great, breaking one that quick though wow, i have changed ours to easy start ones now, makes so much difference
Does the body panels fit on the original cage or is it the north 30 cage?
Fit straight onto the Losi cage as they are the same
The first and only new rc ive had is my tt02 all my others have been used. Batteries and electronics are where i draw the line on used stuff tho

Thank you, the 30DN cars are pretty good so you could save a fair bit of money, but always nice to have a real Losi. Not had any issues with the PowerHD servos yet, although for the price of the Savox i would personally go with a AGFrc servo

The red one looked a little more settled. And maybe tune up the blue car a bit more, the suspension needs a tickle.
Thanks - the Blue on is a Losi 1.0 so has the old syle shocks and steering, plus engine sits further forward, the red one is a 2.0 so has better shocks and steering etc

Thanks, agree Electric is fun and more versatile in what you can do (Speed, Bash, Crawl, Drift etc) but the petrol sound and smell does draw you right in to the experience

Its certainly hit and miss buying second hand, this one though i couldn't believe how good it was and the low price - absolute bargain. Think buying good second hard is an art for and clearly you have that skill 👍👍

i got 3 power hd servos.... all 3 died after 3 months... i will never buy this crap of servo again.... all got the same problem... i tough powerhd are a good cheap servo... but i buy them never again... really bad quality after 3 months ( arround 15l gas)... 2 servos was power hd lw-20mg and 1 was the same what u got power hd 65i ... they was all working in my FG monstertruck 2wd

@@HardcoreRC yes I got my money back... I tough it was first time just a unlucky one... But 2 other died too... So for me it's over with that brand... My servos never died that fast...

That looks like fun! Wish I could have one, but don’t have the place to drive it. My neighbours would be really mad if I drive it in the street. They even complained about my electric kraton😂😂.

Scotland would be a bit of a trek for sure, and sadly they dont allow 5th scales round this track anymore 😥 however have found a new one that is just being finished so hope to get out to that soon

Ive just got one and cant get it started can anyone help?
Is it new or second hand ? have you checked to see if you have any spark ? take the plug out and hold the end against the top of the metal cylinder head whilst you pull the starter, just make sure your hands are not touching anything metal, if you have no spark then check your kill switch if you have one, if not check the mag on the fly wheel
@@HardcoreRC thanks for replying, ive been trying to start this thing for hours now! Its 2nd hand, it last run 6 mo ago, today, carb factory settings with a 1/16th turn lean and rich, (starting lean and riching) with a plug clean every cycle of low speed needle turn (high speed factory) Plug gap & spark fine (not checked magneto gap yet! everything is torqued/tight, Ive had all of 2 seconds running so it does want to go, im just getting a bit naffed off😂
@@baldfantastic Second hand so could be a hole host of things, make sure you have the right setting for the model of carb it has as they are all different, should be able to find the carb model engraved on the carb.
If you still having no joy then would suggest the head comes off and check the ring and the piston

@@baldfantastic Age doesn't mean anything unfortunately. Many factors can effect the engine, dirt getting into the head, running too lean, not changing the piston ring etc.
Could just need a new piston and head, sounds cary but its cheap and actually failry easy to do, if i can do it anyone can.
If its needed just google Zenoah head replacement.

Watching this just reminds me how gutted I am about my Losi 5T. Bought it 2013, got a few runs on it down Hackney Marshes then the complaints rolled in - and then park maintenance thought they'd try and 'confiscate' it, didn't go well. So it's had 3 tanks at most and been in storage for 9 years!
That's a shame, although looking at Hackney Marshes it looks like its used for lots of football pitches and cricket pitches so can see why they would try to stop you, would say going to Wanstead Park / Heath would be better. Get it back out and let it breath 👍
Why do you copy Kevin Talbots format, right down to his boom
Not copying anyone, where exactly do i say boom in this video ? as a matter of fact I have been saying Boom since i was a child when Basil Brush used to say Boom Boom, so do find it very hard not to use that word, but actually go out of my way not to use it, or if i do i edit it out, love for you to show me where Boom is used in this video. Not sure when Kev has even had is two kids racing big 5th scale losi's round a track ? the only thing you could say i copied would be the instant body putting on where i clearly say using some Kevin Talbot magic, but then Kev isnt the first person to do this sort of cut, loads of others do it on RUclips. The only thing the same as Kev is that we play with big toys, film doing it and use some of the same locations as we actually all go out together, apart from that nothing, zip, nada, zero is copied from Kev.
We have to evolve as a channel, that means learning to do better edits, different cuts, adding sound effects, removing boring parts, repeated words, silent pauses etc this then helps viewer retention, we also try to give a reason for the actual video, hence the wrenching etc at the start, which normally has higher retention than the actual bashing.
Would love a reply stating where i use the Boom word, but really not expecting a reply.
