I know the feels mate. Did exactly this with my first big hp Baja first run, about 5 minutes in. We are lucky to have these kind of problems when others have little.
I was 9yrs old ,put together my dads 1985 tamiya monster beetle all by myself I work for 2-3 months on it and being 9yrs old knowing nothing about radiofrequency...it took off went 20 feet and was run over by an f150...CRUSHED....and being 35 now losing a car like that DEFINITELY SUCKS awesome build it was though!!! But my deepest condolences on your loss
An old guy at a drag strip once told me "If your not breaking shit, your not driving hard enough" Keep your head up bro. Your constantly pushing the limits
My god I started a setup on a 1/10 scale redcat 6/8 months ago but didn’t have the matching motors/ESC’s but so I did a mock up using the outdrive diff. cups and then went to my Hobbie shop to buy the smallest dog bones then I gave up, but u inspired me to start from scratch. Thanks for the inspiration u didn’t know u gave lots of RC Enthusiast.
Your builds are out of this world man, a lot of $$$ right here and in all your builds but most important is the love you put into these builds, absolutely brilliant work man! This is a hobby, we all crash...but we rebuild!
Bummer on this crash. You push hard with these cars and it makes awesome content. I know the next version of this chassis will be even better! Thanks for the build!
damn what an incredible build...I love how planned out and clean the setup is...or rather was 😅 but in all reality when things like this happen it helps you grow as an enthusiast and helps you become a more ambitious and daring, but more careful person
😭😭😭 First time viewer and new sub. R/C life lesson number one, 'It will break'. We just always hope it's not immediately or catastrophic... 😔 Also, 5 Horsepower!!! 🤘😎👍
Wow nice transformation. You took a slug of a car & made it run the way those sized cars should. Maybe just a little to much power but, I liked what you did. Thanks for the video.
Super dope Razzy, thank you for all the badassness you share with us! This is how I was at first when my k8s exb was built with about 3500.00 into it. and I messed up and didn't set my breaks on my xlx2 and literally almost went out into traffic and got ran over luckily I double reversed trigger and threw it into reverse and escaped tragedy.... This truck seemed a little to big for the spot you were in but your lesson is learned and I know castle has your back because I told them in the phone that I went to castle because of you. Cheers bro and congratulations on the three babies 🤣
Trailer park math here... 11 Ah batteries rated for 100C... that means a max Amperage of 1,100, and at 15V (give or take, depending on charge level), that's about 16k Watts per battery. Now, 25 horse power is 18k watts... so yeah, that's an INSANE amount of power going through such small motors. At first glance, i thought it was total rubbish, but wow... 50HP in an r/c car is just nutso!!! ty for the vid. Sorry about the crash! I flew r/c helos for many years. I know the feel.
🙈Nooooo…I’m stunned 😳 Raz!! The car was a monster what a build I was gobsmacked watching the video! I wasn’t expecting this to happen you will be back 💯✌🏻
I built a brushless nikko dictator with a bunch of custom upgrades, specifically targeting the Traxxas Slash for performance. the On a 3S speed run, I was trying to get 1 more mph which required running it through a narrow part of the parking lot. It hit a bump and hit a concrete curb at 45 degrees, probably around 40 mph. The heartbreaking part was 35 year old chassis and transmission pieces were destroyed and could not be replaced without a parts car. I did get it back on the road. It’s my favorite rc car out of the 50 or so in my collection.
Raz, I've only been watching you for a couple weeks. Your work shows how much you love this hobby. You've turned it into an art form for us to enjoy. Of course you would take it personally when a piece of your art gets destroyed. What do you do afterward? You do what YOU do, which is make more art! We love what you do. Thank you for what you do.
Tough luck on the crash sir. fifth scale vehicles can be a handful to slow down, so much momentum. cant wait to to see how you repair it! for another onroad project, I highly recommend you look into the MCD XR5/XS5 platform. as an owner of both a losi and an MCD I can promise you its a platform like no other. plenty of space on the chassis to do upgrades, massive engineering in the platform as well. I know if you build an MCD it will be like no other. good luck!
Looks like you got support on what happened. I feel the pain and regret BUT hopefully you’ll get it piece back together and have the space to run it. Cheers man. 👍
Wow. You're a not-so-evil genius. Liked and subbed. Also, although I'm not a bird lover, other than chicken 😆, that was a beautiful bird clip. Sorry about the wreck but you have a great attitude about learning from it. You rock. Thank you for sharing.
Raz, I know how much of "you" that you put into these RC Cars my friend! I feel bad in my heart for you. I'm proud of your absolutely great attitude about this and the awesome example it sets for everyone! Thanks!
I like your video mostly because how you let that bird live in your window like that and carry on with life. You have a kind soul and a good heart stay blessed
Raz, I feel your pain. Not nearly as expensive, but I built a 1/10 road car to see how fast I could get it. I am not sure, because the first run ended in the car disintegrating. It was as simple as a center reflector in the road that I hit almost center chassis. The reflector was decimated, but the car was a total loss. There were a good many parts that were never even located. I put quite a few hours in it. Gutted for mine and yours both.
Wow man that is heart breaking, it looked awesome I'm following close waiting for that next video.... Beast mode.... I'm sure you will make the Beast monster 2 in the future... No streets u need a super big open area..
I don't even need to watch your vids to know it's a BANGER! THANKS for the AWESOME content can't wait to see you @ 1MIL I have a feeling you'll be there b4 you know it 💪👊
My Brother . The Pain is FELT!!!!! Sometimes U gotta CRASH -n- Burn before U even begin. As the ones that have been in this for Years understand, its not about the Money or Time. Its the Detail taken into consideration during a BUILD that we loose after a Big Wreck that we Can Not Get Back😫😫😫😫💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Re-Build and to the Moon my Brother !.!.!
Hey your one of the best rc fab men there is . Head up and more builds. You need to study some builds that we do more bracing with the big motors !!!!😊
Really sorry to see that Raz! I didn't see that coming. But can't wait to see the next one 👍👍 It looked absolutely ridiculous! Wish you all the best man 💪
I'm not sure if it was over confidence Raz. You did however pick the one spot where the curbing had disappeared, so you are very precise at least. I'm hoping you rebuild, because that car was a piece of artwork. And Ive always had a soft spot for the 5ive. Especially with the Mini body on it. Please pick up the pieces and try again.
Nice wanted to do this for a while just the funds so I done it to a wr8 that I modified to 257x200 mm wheelbase so it was a 10th scale 2x120amp hobbywing 2x3300kv motors 2x3s never got a clear reading on GPS best run was 63mph on its back wheels great vid sorry for your loss
Hey Ras, I always say we break them and we fix them again but damn if you say its that bad of a crash 💥 I guess there’s no coming back from that Losi 5t RIP 🤦🏽♂️
Awesome build Raz something to be proud of. This is just a minor set back. You are leading the charge with these Mega builds. Please keep them coming, cant wait for what's to come. Thanks Brother
Man everything u build is so pukka bro. For me when taking out my rc buggies it’s all about the speed they go and how fast I can get them to rip about. So things like this losi are just WOW. big up mate!! 👌🏻👊🏼
The moment you mentioned the crash I thought about the tire's ballooning from your last offroad monster. And seeing them balloon in that first clip, yeah. expensive lesson. For those speeds, on road, belted is the way. Hell even on my e-revo 2.0, belted vs stock felt like a massive upgrade when driving on flat surfaces.
Dang man, this is so unfortunate! Im sorry this happened, It looks like you put a lot of effort and detail into these builds and of course a lot of money. Hooefully you was atleast able to salvage some of the electronics. I really enjoy your channel mam and ever since Kev and yourself have collided it's been great to watch as well.
Sorry about your rig man, as you say, part of the trials and tribulations of speed running. Head up, you bring a lot of joy to people. Your next build will be even better, I’m sure of it.
since both motors are offset, the batteries and the controller could have been mounted on different sides and the weight ratios would have been balanced. But still great, wow!
I really enjoy all these builds you do! Watching your vids and got the motivation to setup a limitless. So far 91mph on 6s! 8s soon. Back to watch the setup vids for a 10th time or so!! Keep it up!!!
Though luck, that looked like such an awesome build too, I love those giant short course trucks, love your content, good luck on it's next iteration. Wish you the best!
I'm always so happy to see your channel. I get a natural experience thanks to the little nest in your window and then there's the most perfect RC tuning which I haven't seen in the youtube world yet. You are a wonderful person to me. if everyone in this world were like that, it would be a wonderful life in this wonderful world. fck ptn!
Sorry for what happened, I’m so exciting watching your videos and I will try to make one as the same you did Can you make another video try to explain how you combine both ESC? Thank you man you are the best
I love your videos and definitely feel your pain brother! I bet it crashed because you did not run a spool or 2 Million weight oil in the Diffs with belted tires. These are a MUST. Without more-locked diffs the tire without traction will just spin 2x faster, and expand as you can see from the before crash clips and "traction steer" the car. I have been down this road MANY times. Not for bragging but to prove experience, I have 3 Electric 5ives, and all are center spool and 2M wt diff oil (spools make it under-steer in the corners) by necessity, learned the hard way. Anything above 70 mph you will blow out non belted tires if you are off road at all. Honestly, that's not a bad crash at all, it looks like you had 3 problems that came together... 1. You relocated the front diff support, the stock one has 2 bolts, I have sheared these bolts a bunch of times, until you make something super strong, a bumper impact will break the diff cases every time, even in a CNC aluminum diff housing, this needs sorted out first. 2. For that 2 motor setup you located the battery and ESC's to the perimeter of the chassis. I'd make a plate that goes above the motors that ties into the front Diff support, and mounts the ESC's above it as well. There is a TON of room under the cage of the 5ive T, and it would put the ESC's in fresh cool air. I run similar to this in a 5ive B body with no issues. 3. 3D print motor cradles that bolt through the chassis and can use large Zip ties to hold the motor to the mount to take the strain off of them during impacts. A few other electric 5ive tips, run the batteries ans ESC's exactly opposite of each other, and as close to center of gravity as possible to balance the 30lbs this weighs, will make a night and day difference when you start jumping it. I regularly clear 150' with no problem or breakage, and bash HARD. I honestly believe these 5ives are the toughest RC cars on the planet.
Love your channel and your attention to detail but must admit was surprised you mounted the batteries directly to the chassis like that, something tells me you’ll be revisiting that in the near future.
Everything You Need Is Here..

I know the feels mate. Did exactly this with my first big hp Baja first run, about 5 minutes in.
We are lucky to have these kind of problems when others have little.
Twin motors are the future! You’re ahead of the curve.
i Have to say what you do is a work of art nothing is out of place, everything you do make is neat and tidy ,thankyou for sharing
Damn, man....such a damn shame.
Sorry about the wreck. Just gotta keep on building.
...."this too shall pass".
Talented build. Too bad it wrecked. I’ll see it in the next video. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah that's heartbreaking to lose such a beautiful build! Please build it again.
I love your work flow and setup!
i like the sizzle of the plastic from the hot hex key. Sound guy was on point

RIP LOSI Definitely was a clean build .
An old guy at a drag strip once told me "If your not breaking shit, your not driving hard enough" Keep your head up bro. Your constantly pushing the limits
My boy Bitcoin GTR had dual 12s ztw’s in his 5T, pure animal. Nice build Raz! Sorry bout the crash..,
Dual 12s is what I'm going for next!
I like how you say " saved you the boring part " when in all reality it was really cool to watch you build this 👌
My god I started a setup on a 1/10 scale redcat 6/8 months ago but didn’t have the matching motors/ESC’s but so I did a mock up using the outdrive diff. cups and then went to my Hobbie shop to buy the smallest dog bones then I gave up, but u inspired me to start from scratch. That’s why I like your channel raz always honest, much love from Florida, USA hurricane Milton came and we all still standing yo!
This channel is the best for alot of reasons. Your honesty is one of them. Always on point and entertaining.
Pouring your heart into something at the level you do I totally understand the feeling when it gone. Keep doing you, and rebuild that thing. 💪🏼
That really was a thing of beauty. Thank you for being a pioneer and taking one for the team!
Bummer on this crash. You push hard with these cars and it makes awesome content. I know the next version of this chassis will be even better! Thanks for the build!
😨😪 When tires balloon that bad, even you as an excepcional good driver is out of luck 😪 Don't be too sad, next EPIC build will follow 💪

Duuuude! I feel it man... gah! Gotta love the hobby. 🤙 you rock man keep tour head up. It wasn't meant to be.
Just tks Bro!. You made us dream with this awesome project. I saw and pay atention to every second on the video.
Wow nice transformation. You took a slug of a car & made it run the way those sized cars should. Maybe just a little to much power but, I liked what you did. Thanks for the video.

Damn Raz, sorry to hear it. I've had some new build obliterate on first run, tragic but we always build bigger and badder.

Bad luck 🍀 mate. You can fix it though. You are an amazing RC creator.
I like your video mostly because how you let that bird live in your window like that and carry on with life.
You have a kind soul and a good heart stay blessed
Always love these videos coming out. Feel gutted for you man. Just for not being able to progress with this car further just yet.
NOOOO Not the Losi 😭😭😭😭
Dang Raz I hate that happened. I could images that thing was awesome 😭✌️

I got a 6s typhoon n it fast
How!!!
The structure of your videos makes the amazing work you do with rc cars so much better. Great video
“It’s part of the hobby.”” That is so true and a bit frustrating.
Hey your one of the best rc fab men there is . Head up and more builds. You need to study some builds that we do more bracing with the big motors !!!!😊
That is Truly Devastating, Sorry that happened Raz. But We all know you will bounce back from this. And make it more EPIC then the last. 💯💪💯👍💯🙏💯🍻
It happens to the best of us man. I just lost a build to a fire. Totally my fault. The pain is real.
Really sorry to see that Raz! I didn't see that coming. But can't wait to see the next one 👍👍 It looked absolutely ridiculous! Wish you all the best man 💪

I wish I could afford a new RC truck like that
What is that blue coupling you use to connect the motors to the driveshaft?
Raz just a gorgeous build as always bro class
Been there. Poof it's gone. Takes hat off says goodbye, sheds a tear.
Awesome build Raz something to be proud of. This is just a minor set back. You are leading the charge with these Mega builds. Please keep them coming, cant wait for what's to come. Thanks Brother

Amazing creations
Sorry about the tragedy
RIP
Such great work. I bet it sucks. I'm sure the next one will be epic 😎🙏🏽 as always
Your builds are superb.
When you drove by in the video the tires were extremely ballooned.sucks you crashed, good luck👊🏻
The moment you mentioned the crash I thought about the tire's ballooning from your last offroad monster.

Great vid my man!! All around awesome!! Great build, super clean!!
That's a major bummer man. Sorry for your loss 😔
😱 ohh Raz I really feel for you . That was such a lovely clean build , everything just so . Onwards and upwards my friend 🤛
I really enjoyed the video! Beautiful build man! Sorry about the car.
Hey! You got yourself a Common Myna there.
It's actually invasive, a pest, but very cool.
Oh, and also, very cool car🙂
Edit: Oh, fuck! Sorry man.
Not boring at all brother i love the building parts
I really enjoy all these builds you do! Watching your vids and got the motivation to setup a limitless. So far 91mph on 6s! 8s soon. Back to watch the setup vids for a 10th time or so!! Keep it up!!!
Though luck, that looked like such an awesome build too, I love those giant short course trucks, love your content, good luck on it's next iteration. Wish you the best!
I give u alot of credit for what u do raz 💯 I would like u see u build a speed run boat
You are a good person letting that bird nest there. Some people would have taken the nest and eggs for decoration
I'm always so happy to see your channel. I get a natural experience thanks to the little nest in your window and then there's the most perfect RC tuning which I haven't seen in the youtube world yet. You are a wonderful person to me. if everyone in this world were like that, it would be a wonderful life in this wonderful world. fck ptn!
I see a high potential in the HoBao VTE 2. Wouldn't you like to optimize this car as well... but then please also your really good way.
Sorry for what happened,
I’m so exciting watching your videos and I will try to make one as the same you did
Can you make another video try to explain how you combine both ESC?
Thank you man you are the best
Hi RAZ. Awesome build. That 33A deep cicle battery is lead acid or What chemistry?
This is amazing awesome work💯💪🔥
I love your videos and definitely feel your pain brother!
Thank you so much for taking the time🙏🏻
I actually watched this before I watched kevs new vid. That means something!
I feel for you Brother I don’t get to into any build but this one was a idea I myself wanted to try so it’s Crazy your doing it ..
Dang! Sorry about the crash, it was a great build.
Damn!👿 You still have 4 wheelz and nitro engine 👍🙂
Love your channel and your attention to detail but must admit was surprised you mounted the batteries directly to the chassis like that, something tells me you’ll be revisiting that in the near future.
Awesome build. Monster heartbreak crash :(
