Just purchased the piece a month ago and I’m really loving it! Super comfortable and surprisingly light thanks to the titanium. First spring drive for me and I’m blown away by the accuracy. Wears well on my 8” wrist and excellent review, sir!
I think the crown should have been placed at 4 o’clock instead of 3 o’clock for the sake of functionality. The clasp quality does need improvement. Looks great on large wrists, but would probably look just as great with the case slimmed down by 2mm. Just a stunning piece.
No matter how you look at it, it's a pretty big chunk of watch. I've compared it to a 43,5 Planet Ocean and the SLGA015 looks/feels bigger in all aspects (case diameter, lug to lug, end link to end link, lug width) apart from perhaps dial size(slightly larger on the PO, max 1mm) and thickness. The SLGA015 has none of the "magic" Seiko used to make the MM300 wear/look smaller. A rough 2,5mm across the board reduction would've helped make the watch a lot more universally appeling (42,5mm case diameter, 49mm lug to lug, 53mm end link to end link, 29mm dial size, 20mm lug width).
@@brentmillertime8778 Thanks Brent! Love the channel. So the 001 looks like it has a better bracelet (polished in parts) and the blue face, but is that the only significant differences?
It’s a great wearable watch in the metal which surprised me when I saw it in my AD. Personally I think they should remove the power indicator from the dial, and the clasp looks and feels a little cheap.
@@leomarsic289 The joke of the century lol, its more the other way around that GS is light years ahead of Rolex! Other than the clasp there is virtually nothing Rolex can compete - workmanship, movement technology, design, wrist presence, looks, materials used..... the list goes on and on and on. Rolex is visually complete machine made with close to zero user interaction or human workmanship while GS is made by craftsman training for eternity just to polish the watch were it needs polishing. The time it takes to make one GS another 50 Submariners are fully automated completed😄
Unbelievable accuracy 😍

Congrats, great pickup. Enjoy wearing it!
The SLGA015 is stunning!

Why can't they make these watches smaller? Like 40mm case size and 20mm lug width. I can't stand 22/23 lug width. WTF is GS thinking?
Not bad, not bad at all Brad! It's probably available to buy as well, unlike the Rolex Submariner! Cheers, Bob 🍻
It's a pity they didn't put a slightly convex sapphire (rising towards the center by about 1 mm). It feels much nicer to the touch than a flat one.

Yeah if GS make a case in the dimensions of the Seiko SLA055 it would be dreamy
Thank you again for the wrist shot 🥰
Hi Brent is this the non limited edition version of the LE SLGA001? It seems very similar and hoping I get something close.
This is a standard production model.

If case diameter would be 3mm smaller, this would be the best diver in the market. Perioid.
Been waiting to see this one, love it!

This would be a submariner killer if it was 40mm and no power reserve I dictator
it's a great watch, but it's light years behind rolex, I love and own both brands

I wish it was 40mm - they'd sell out in no time.
If they made this in a smaller size with a better smaller clasp they would sell loads. As it stands… nope.
Idk how grand seiko gets such a low water depth rating on such an oversized watch
Modesty.
poor production control, lots of details, like back play! unacceptable for a watch that wants to be an alternative to rolex
