Both gorgeous watches and would be viable alternatives to a Rolex Sub..if only Grand Seiko could finally offer a Diver for smaller wristed people. Almost all of their Divers past and present are at least 43mm which is huge on a 6.5" wrist. Also shame that after being in the business so long, they can't offer a more refined clasp. Don't know how Rolex/Tudor/Omega can offer much slimmer clasps on their Divers and GS can't do the same or better... I'd buy one in a heartbeat with these changes esp as the spring drive accuracy Smashes Rolex's Superlative Chronometer
I have the 291. I went with it, despite the capability improvements and that sweet dial from the 015, because it just reads faster. It’s not as noticeable in the video but the hour markers are smaller on the 015 to make room for the power reserve indicator. It’s not much but it is noticeable…
Hi Brad, I think it comes down to the preferred type of movement: in every other respect the watches are similar. They're both excellent, and they're both too big for me! Cheers from England, Bob 🍻
If I was ever going to buy a Grand Seiko it would have to be a spring drive. The movement technology is very clever, the sweeping minute hand so unique. A very interesting company. I’d like to see screws used on the bracelet instead of pins though. Pins look cheap to me,particularly those on the clasp. Spoils the look of the watch a bit for me
GS Divers are definitely love it or hate it. Count me in the love it camp! I'd go spring drive for the accuracy, power reserve, that dial, and still reasonable at 14mm thick.
Prefer the hi-beat, dial looks cleaner and it doesn't have the power reserve indicator (which clutters up the dial for absolutely no discernible functionality.)

015 for me. Just had one delivered and what a time piece.
Amazing👌🏻
Grail watch for me. One day.

Both very nice the shine goes after a while when you've had them for a long time. Plus, thanks for the great video
Thanks for watching!

I’d definitely go for the spring drive, just wish they had a transparent case back

Brad, great job on this video. Two beautiful Watches, just wish both were a little thinner. See you on WUS.
Thanks for viewing!
I like them both. The SBGH291 is probably the lowest cost titanium GS diver.
If only they were smaller....
Both are awesome and pricey.
The 291 Titanium for me please. Absolutely best on the planet
Great review. It looks like the newer 015 has less lume than the older one, right?
I didn't notice it at time of filming but watching it back you may be right.
I like the wave dial but just too big. Why does it need to be that big?
If your wrist is
@@briankenny6883very few has over 8" wrist
Tough choice !
No Cesc... IMPOSSIBLE choice! 😉
Get rid of spring drive on the dial
Hublot
Bless you.
