- Thank you to all the existing and NEW Subscribers! I appreciate you being here. Enjoy this latest video as we take a look at a SMALL saw!
Just because it looks the same and comes from China, does not mean it is of equal quality. I have never owned the other "cheaper" versions of this saw but you can see in pictures and videos differences in quality even though parts are fully compatible. Think of it like this. The G372 is 100% compatible with the original Husqvarna 372xp. Do you think they are the same inside and out? The cheaper g2500 on ebay is likely not the same quality as the joncutter Holzfforma and the joncutter clone is not the same quality as the original Zenoah Version of the saw!
This Joncutter g2500 has been a great, reliable saw for sure and I would not hesitate to recommend it to the person that needs an occasional top handle saw!
Thanks for being here and I appreciate any and all comments.
Yes, I have one and I love it. It's my go to saw
Awesome, thank you for sharing!
I bought two of these, and love them, even though they are not perfect. My very first saw was a Mac 110 top handle. It had more power, but also no AV. I am sure it won't last like a Mac, but it's light, smooth, easy to start, and a blast to use.
Very good story. I think they surely have their place and I am glad to once again own one. Thank you for taking the time to share and be safe!
Yep love mine going on 3 years. Also bought the bigger 62cc and it starts right up everytime.
Some of these are really good tools. Not all Clones are created equal..... That is for sure! Thanks for watching and sharring!
looks exacly like the one i got from parker brand in the uk, just diferant colour side pannal, its a cracking wee saw!! as well although your one looks like it has a slightly longer bar on it, but it munches through anything you throw at it!! i did have to tune it though and set the oil pump as it was emptying the oil tank in a couple off minutes haha i'd defo get another one if i neaded it.
Haha! Awesome, thank you for the comment and thanks for being here! Have a great day!
This is a great saw
Agreed. I want another or something like it. Have a good one!
Thanks for your review... 🙏
No problem and thanks for watching!

thank you
Completely agree that there's differing levels of "clone" quality and have been very pleased with holzfforma in general. But am very tempted to give neotec a try with their little 2500 top handle.
I think you cannot go wrong with a saw that price. I was super happy with my joncutter. You and I do not NEED an OEM 200T! Can you believe that my ported cs-310 was faster than the Stihl 194T? That was pretty crazy. I cannot imagine climbing a tree with a saw with that little power.
I just got that Jon Cutter G2500 for $38 direct from Farmertec on a black friday deal. Chain and bar for an additional $8. Shipping was $81, but doing the math, it is still cheaper than buying it at the common online store.
@@venomx4093 about $130 all in? I would say that is worth it. I am kinda wishing I still had mine. If I don’t get another it will be a 2511T at some point. Thanks for sharing!
@@oakiewoodsman Yes. Amazon has it for around $180 with the bar and chain. I just double checked on Farmertec and the price has jumped up. Glad I got it when I did lol. I had a Stihl MS192TC, but it had a lot of issues.
@@venomx4093 I actually did order the neotec ncs2500. Direct from neotec, us stock for $115.20 all in!
That's not a bad price at all for the Jon cutter👍🏻 would love to have an Echo cs-2511t one day. Totally different animal than these!
How much do you want for the saw and both bars??
Thanks for the comment but I am going to list it locally. Don't want to hassle with shipping.
I see a 572 in your future . Decided yet what your getting ?
I would like to say it is close but I am not sure about that quite yet. I am not sure the 572 will be in the budget just yet. In my area nobody buys nice Husqvarna saws, meaning no nice used ones come up for sale. I am not sure on the pricing on a new one. I think it is close to $1000 though.
What is the resale value on a 60 dollar saw with a broken handle? The bars and chains costed more than the saw.
They are not $60. In fact at their cheapest, when you got a super poor quality one, they were like $100. Thanks for watching
I just bought a new one on farmertec's website for $30 plus bar and chain and shipping.
@@dingbop963 you and I both know that the shipping was INSANE! Let me gues...... $90????
@@dingbop963 they do have a great sale going right now. When I check on it, the saw is $30 the Shipping is $65 and the bar and chain is $7. If you purchased only the power head, you need to purchase a bar and chain as well. They show low prices but the shipping is very high. I am happy to see that the package did not go up in shipping with the inclusion of the bar. They used to put an equal charge on EVERY item. It was pretty nutz. Good find I would say. Will take somewhere around 30-45 days for arrival but it is indeed a bit less.
@@oakiewoodsman I ordered a bunch of other stuff. I add one item at a time to the cart and check the shipping cost. The Prowler Puppy saw only added $15 to the shipping. Total shipping cost for my order was $66. I was looking for Chinese equivalent parts on eBay and what I payed for farmertec stuff including shipping was half the cost of the cheapest stuff on eBay. If you can get enough stuff in one order you can get the ratio of shipping cost to part cost down quite a bit. The last order I made I used the cheapest shipping option and it came by air freight in two weeks.
Awesome video about the chainsaw. are you also interested in trying Hipa chain? Maybe we could collaborate?

Is it just me or does the idol sounds super high on that John Cutter
Did to me too but the clutch never engaged. Once it was hot, the RPM would slow down. Thanks for the comment!
I have a Shindawa top handle to 269 t That can technically idle way higher than factory specs without the clutch engaging And that’s how it came to me however I turned it that way back down to keep temperatures down and save gas
Good information. Appreciate the comment and will keep that in mind for the future. Hopefully this helps someone out. That is the coolest part of the comment section. All the cumulative experience!
@@oakiewoodsman I appreciate you and I love to video. The way I set idle on my chainsaws is usually dial them back at idle Slowly until they sputter and die. Then i go half turn in from there. And test it out make sure It will start without your finger on trigger. Its like a drag car . When idling they sound like they’re going to die. However they are Conserving fuel and avoiding heat until it’s really time to scream. That’s how I like my chainsaw to run as well. Especially climbing SAws.
@@ArmorDllon good tip! Comments and suggestions always welcome. Thank you
Idling too high
Robert, I was thinking that too however, the clutch is not engaging and spinning the chain. I think that if the saw completely warmed up, the idle would come down. Thanks for the Comment and glad you are here!
No one should consent to a blindfold chainsaw comparison. Just sounds dangerous...
Interesting
Oiler suck in them
Thanks for watching. I have not noticed that as an issue.
