I own 1 of these saws. And as long as you take care of it . They are little work horses. I've dropped mine out of a tree 40 ft picked it up and went right back to work. Good little saw.

I grabbed that other double bar studded $100 dollar 25cc top handle off eBay.,, it’s been a really great little saw! I’ve been very impressed by it! We dropped a 18” diameter oak tree that was 1/2 tore out by storm damage… I had the pole saw’s for the pruning job and we decided that it was ugly in front of the house…I added it’s removal cheap because it was going right into the woods line so no dumping.,, it was really impressive dropping that tree with my itty bitty saw and a wedge! LMFFAO! I love it for limbing and just clean up because it doesn’t weigh nothing!!! You can swing it around for a couple hours and you haven’t even been working!!! Super little weight.,, I’m gonna look into a panther bar and chain maybe! I’d love a little more bar…

cuts amazing, this model saw is really nostalgic to me, nice to see it cut that hard.
i got clones like this when i started carving, very cheap parts, esspecially at the time, and i could get 1/4 pitch sprockets for m. got a walbro carb for it then as well. its a little bit of a lottery with these saws but they can run great, as you just demonstrated hehe 👍👍
    great work! take care

I have always had trouble getting the screws out of an echo CS 300. Those four screws that hold the cylinder into the case are far beyond tight. I’ve had a few of those apart and they have all been the same. I dread when I have to take apart a top handle.

Last bit of carb tuning really bought it to life, sounds much more responsive and with a chunk more power too. If you want a bit more cutting speed .... drop the chain size to 0.043 narrow kerf bar and chain. My hopped up 26cc saw runs a modified Stihl 0.043 bar and chain, its a good step in right direction.

Impressive results for a 25cc saw, considering they can be had for under a 100 bucks stock.

On a scale from 1 ..93, to 1125.. what’s this thing weigh, dressed? I don’t trust what the net says. I think they weighed the box. They also say my 193 is 7.28lbs and the 1125 is 5.2. But I’m almost positive that’s power head only. Anyone can help there’s a big thanks in it for ya. I just don’t know, I want a non clam so I can delete the base gasket and my (30cc clam) 193 is starting to give me cramps. I also have a 200t but knowing what I know I’m going to hang on to it. (…two 55’s, a 620.. and a 261c for toppin/chunkin;) With the published weights it don’t make sense till I know fo sho. I kinda want 1 of these and can buy 5 before I’m into what one 1125 costs. Can’t justify possibly getting a saw that weighs the same till then. Thanks. So if anyone knows what a dressed and wet 193, a 1125 and this guy weighs please post it up. Thanks again.
