i realize I am pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new series online ?
@Dennis Raymond I would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
One of THE most emotional songs you will ever hear, written by the man she is divorcing who is on stage next to her. The courage to do this was amazing. So many great ABBA songs.
Was going to mention the same thing. This can't have been an easy song to perform, and doubtless Agnetha's display of emotions was genuine.
The video was brutal to watch..💔
Absolutely. It must have been torment to still appear lovey dovey
@@maryhuhnke8496 You're right.
The pain of the changes that they were experiencing in their lives at this time,
was palpable during this performance .
You can hear her voice crack in it at the pain of this song. So very sad
Abba's harmonies and orchestrations were magic
FOR ME Agnetha is up there with the best female voices in the history in the music! Just superior vocals, emotions etc
Mom, childhood, happiness...
Agnetha one the most emotional songs is amazing
Abba were & still one of the best pop bands that ever existed, pure perfection
They have new songs coming this year !! They just have an amazing catalogue of songs. Best Pop Band 😀🙏❤️
Agree
Go down the ABBA rabbit hole and you'll be there till next year, anyone who says they don't like them are lying... merry Christmas guys...
Ritchie Blackmore's favorite band.
I've been in the ABBA rabbit hole for like 40 years. And will be there rest of my life.
Please someone help me out of the ABBA rabbit hole. Gotta work tomorrow and it's getting late. Funny thing is, I was born 1987. I am not even from ABBA's time 😂
He’s having an ASMR reaction to her voice. The goosies From your spine to the top of your head like soda pop bubbles
ABBA never get old. Like a fine cognac or nice wine...
I read this as fine cocaine... Definitely need a good sleep
In Sweden they are a national treasure. I went to the Abba museum. So much fun!! ❤
They are in The UK also, they are part of British Culture believe it or not.
@@danfrost3043 Australia too! 'Fernando' is the longest-running #1 single, you couldn't turn a corner without hearing it.
I'd love to visit it.
One of the best popsongs ever. Great reaction
You were exactly right, AGNETHA is the Angelic voice. So beautiful a voice as well as beauty.
A World class Soprano with B2 - F7 range.
The best Pop Ballad ever written, recorded and performed. Agnetha Faltskog's voice is otherworldly. ABBA is the greatest. Pop perfection.
Ohhh yeah. Anybody liking good music love ABBA, Best pop group ever. In musical quality the best pop ever made.
imo the beatles are eth best pop band ever, abba 2nd
@@eatthisvr6 Nope, Abba first.
@@eatthisvr6 I’m saying Beatles are rock though.
ABBA sells about 2 millions records every year RESPECT
40 years after breakup
Beautiful song and voice.
Her vocal range is flawlessly amazing
This song is heartbreaking
You can see in her eyes
The hurt, pain after losing their marriage
Her ex husband the one who play guitar wrote that song
Benny is the real composer of this song not Bjon
@@famkimaroyte8649 Benny writes the music, Bjørn writes the lyrics :-)
Don’t forget, they’re HIS lyrics, expressing his own pain. They are words coming from both people. This is after 42 years of listening and learning. However, as one major record producer pointed out, Björn wrote his lyrics, Agnetha sang them. So the perception is that it’s all her pain. It’s really both of them. And the winner? Probably Björn’s 2nd wife of 41 years. This is all four band members’ favorite song of all their hits.
@@OperaJH He had not met her when he wrote this.
Lol,Paradise of Melody🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤!!
Nobody in this world, can dislike ABBA!
One of the most incredible vocal performances of all time. Enough said.
Hey guys I have a friend in Tbilisi Georgia. Abba were two couples married. They all divorced and at the end their songs reflected what they were going thru.
There is nothing like the voice of Agnetha👌
I remember for many years, all of us who liked Abba were laughed at. Nice to see their abilities are finally appreciated. Their songs were autobiographical and this and chickikita (spelling?) were my favourites
Loved this it takes me back to so many memories
Beautiful song...well sung...lovely lady ..
Mama Mia, honey honey, super trouper etc.some of the beauties of ABBA. Listen to it.
I didn't grow up with Abba. My mother has it all on vinyl and CD. I started listening to Abba when I was 16. When I turn up Dancing Queen or "Gimme gimme gimme" my mother starts dancing and smiling. Me too :-) As great as the appreciation for Abba later became ... I don't think any of these people listened to the lyrics. The lyrics are phenomenally good, the sound is pure perfection ... together with the voices it is and remains unmatched. At 25 I am not ashamed to say: I am an Abba fan. And if nobody remembers us anymore ... Abba will be remembered when there is no more electricity and her songs can no longer be played ... everyone will hum the songs to themselves ... and smile.
The name ABBA is an acronym of the first letter of each member first name.
ABBA topped the charts worldwide for 9 years 1974 - 83. All four members are multi-millionaires.
I agree, I've always said that Agnetha has the voice of an angel. You should also listen to her in ABBA's My love My life, I've Been Waiting for You, Just like that and One of us. She's just amazing.
Dancing Queen is a must!
the face of an angel , and the voice of an angel
Abba "Dancing Queen" ❤️
They are the third biggest selling artists of all time with the musical Mamma Mia which as taken billions worldwide wide.
I have always loved Agnetha.
It's quite refreshing to see a beautiful woman singing without being half naked...........ABBA IS PURE CLASS!!!
And without auto-tune.
lol whats wrong with that?
Yes they were very talented...one of the best bands ...ever....surprised, like most people ,that they divorced...as they worked sooo...well together!!
This song doesn't show enough of *both* women. Chiquita is a great one, and so many others.
The song was written for one lead. It went to Agnetha. I guess they should not have written this classic in order to appease your shallow idea's as to what is a good song and performance. Also, don't just listen to this song on a recording. Your head might explode, with NO women being shown.
@@donny1960 Shouldn't you be off trying to overturn the election somewhere? You're rage is misplaced. Daddy will be disappointed. Go find those people who are being mean to your Daddy. You're all dressed up in anger with nowhere to go. Beat it.
@@m.menneke8513 I suppose if the song was inspired by her feelings then your point makes sense. My point was that it is missing ABBA's primary strength, ABBA, not just A. But it really is ok for one person to have a viewpoint and not have that evoke upset. I didn't say the song sucks, but it doesn't really represent the band. For me, this song is just average pop compared to their others, so for a first reaction it doesn't showcase what makes them special. Anyone with a good voice could have done it. That isn't true with Dancing Queen, Take a Chance, SOS, etc.
@@5d512 Your "interpretation" of me and my mindset is as "DEEP" and accurate as your observation of the video. NOT even close. I couldn't be more happy about the ELECTION. What an Asshole, you are to assume you know what the Hell you are talking about. And as for rage....... look closer to home.
@@5d512 Each to their own as someone who bought his first single in London in 1960 but I feel this is the classic pop song...
I Do, I Do, I Do,I Do, I Do.....:)
Try Abba's masterpiece - The Day Before You Came
Agnetha is not human, she is angel.
Gosh I will let ABBA take my home
Love ABBA, since they hit the USA in 1974. You picked a great song. You guys are great, love your reviews.
Please go down the ABBA rabbit hole. They have TONS of songs to react to!
Steven Germann
"TONS" isn't even an exaggeration. Their back catalogue defies belief, in terms of size and quality, with quality being the keyword. Merry Christmas brother. ✌️
I went down there aged 15 yrs old and I still can't get back out:)
Yesssssssssss, ABBA, the best. My favourite song. She, Agneta, is singing about her and her ex-husband, Björns divorce, he is playing the gitarr.
"Tell me does she kiss the way I used to kiss you? Does it feel the same, when she calls your name...?? This Song goes WAY beyond "a woman scorned" It identifies the precious sound of a woman's heart shattering into a million f**king pieces!! 💔💔
I saw her interviewed & she said this was the hardest performance she had ever done , she was heartbroken at her marriage breaking up
Guys, Abba is HUGE!
Actually ABBA had most of their hits in the 70's. They split as a band in 1982.
ABBA Hole In Your Sou &l Move On & Soldiers & The Piper & Cassandra & My Love My Life & The Visitors & SOS still ABBA crazy all these years later saw ABBA live in Melbourne Australia 1977 Sidney Myer Music Bowl
She’s gorgeous ! That voice ...so angelic. You’ve got to get to the Wilson sisters of HEART Ann’s voice is absolutely breathtaking
Remember too that ABBA were Swedish and English wasn't their first language but still they produced some of the best Eng lang songs ever created.
One of the best popsongs ever composedl
The greatest pop group ever...bar none.
Melody, lyrics and emotions, thats what makes Abba special. Also this song is about the Agnetas and Björn separation so the emotions are real. They don’t do music like this anymore.
Gimme, gimme, gimme! (the long version with the thumb bass), please. 😃
If you like strong amazingly talented women you really need to listen to Vanessa Amarossi singing Natural woman her voice will blow your minds. Plus thankyou for this I have always loved ABBA
They were a 70s band and this song was 1980, their final or one of their final songs. They were the best in the 70s, I remember them well.
The Legend comes back, love your reaction!
Can I just say she's rocking her Farah Fawcett hair flip.
I remember it well. I rocked that same Farah Fawcett flip back in the day. Wow....I'm getting old...
@@cinderellsworth Yep, me too!
Чистейший , нежнейший , хрустальный вокал Агнеты !.. 💕💕💕
Her voice is everything.
Dancing Queen!!!
Proper written song... genius... tunes that going along are well written also amazing group
This was a tough time for lead singer, Agnetha. She was in the process of divorcing her husband, the guitar player, Bjorn.
For another amazing female voice, you can't miss with Karen Carpenter.
I recommend 'Knowing Me, Knowing You" ....my favorite Abba song :)
Wow
Incredible vocals.
You mentioned it was the 80s, they were mostly active during the 70s, from 1972 thru 1983 but "The Winner Takes It All" was released in July of 1980. They weren't just one of the most successful "pop" group of the 70s, but of all time. There are only a small handful of artists that out sold them or had more #1 hit singles. Their stats are impressive with 380,000,000 to 400,000,000 records sold worldwide and 21 number one hits singles worldwide. It doesn't stop there, there are 4 movies and one musical based on the music of ABBA. To this day they still sell 1,000,000 records per year. I would like to say to you that to me ABBA is not in the "pop" genre, ABBA, like the Beatles, is a genre unto themselves.
They sell 2.5 millions records per year, not 1 million.
@@MarioDruet I certainly hope that is true. As far as I am concerned they should be sell 5 million per year. The 1 million number I got from an interview or documentary but that could have been before the "Mama Mia" musical and movies. Thanks for the update.
Such an emotional song 💕💕
There's a chilling back story to the band. The other woman, the reddish brown haired one, Anni-Frid Lyngstad was born in Norway and her father was a WW2 German soldier. So after the war her mother and her fled Norway to Sweden because women who had affairs with German soldiers were punished, publicly humiliated, beaten, their heads shaved. Children od German soldiers were outcasts in post-war Norwegian society, they were abused, even experiments were done on them. The mother died soon after and Anni-Frid was raised by relatives. Only when she became famous with ABBA did she tell about all this to a newspaper, and a young German guy who read the interview recognized his father as the German soldier. So he went home and asked his father: During the war did you have an affair with a Norwegian woman named Synni Lyngstad? The old man admitted, to which the son repluied: congratulations, you're the father of the brown haired girl from ABBA. She actually met her father but it wasn't a good experience, she couldn't relate to him. After ABBA split up she married a nobleman in Germany who died later in a car accident. So today she is actually Her Serene Highness Princess Anni-Frid, Countess of Plauen.
Wow! That's unbelievable!
Thankyou I didn't know all that.
Her husband died of Lymphoma. Her daughter died in a car accident.
@@donny1960 Thanks, seems like my memory is getting weaker as I'm growing older...
Anni-Frid, she is brunette or red head....she suited both colors 😊a very beautiful woman aswell as blonde Agnetha 😊
I've always loved the irony at the end of the song, where her apology is actually an accusation. "Oh, I'm sorry you feel bad seeing me like this. BUT IT'S YOUR FAULT, A***OLE!!"
One of thier most beautiful songs. Glad you enjoyed as well.
She didn't write the song by the way it was her ex husband the guitar player
They actually are the most successful pop group of all time, with more record sales than any other. By now, around half a billion records sold. No other band or artist has done that. By the end of this year, with the release of their full album, they’ll go way past 500,00. For sure.
As far as sales as a group, they are second only to the Beatles
This song means a hell of a lot to me, my girlfriend at that time was the spitting image of ABBA'S lead singer, , Blonde, blue eye's, she even had the gap in her teeth, and the body to match, unfortunately because of my stupidity that relationship went pearshaped,( I was young and so dum) so this song has meaning to me.
ABBA were, and still are oh so good it's music from my youth.
🌷Agnetha ❤️🎶, voz maravilhosa!
Goosebumps 😍😍😍😍
I hope in 50 Years you both will make Videos like this again and again 👍 Greetings from Nuremberg - Germany 🙂
Try this ABBA song "when all is said and done". It's a masterpiece too.
Fernando and SOS are great too!!!
Agnetha Fältskog is a true soprano, and her fellow bandmember, Anni-Frid Lyngstad is a mezzo-soprano,,,,, the combination of those two voices in harmony is what makes the AßßA sound so special, and inimitable and incomparable. ♪♫♥
Loved your reaction, guys .... incidentally you look so much alike!
Abba, Beatles, Elvis Presley, Kraftwerk, The Rolling Stones, AC / DC ... artists who will be remembered when nobody can remember us. Nobody has shaped the music as much as these artists.
Agnetha always has the ability to bring the emotions of a song to the front. Making it very real.
An amazing, emotional songs that she hits you with one wave after another . . .
The Beatles, Beachboys and ABBA all unsurpassed maters.
ABBA songs are incredible, stunning and beautiful. Perfection is their game:)
Una de las voces más sublimes que ha dado este mundo : Agnetha Faltskog . Millones de hombres nos enamoramos de su voz tierna y dulce , y su rostro angelical …. Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So glad when someone gets some ABBA stuff and realiza that they are so much mote than Dancing Queen , Mamma Mia and Waterloo... ABBA has an AMAZING catalog of incredible songs, Benny &Bjorn are for sure one of the most incredible pair or song writters, their
musical arrangements always ahead of their time... And of coures, the voices of Frida and Agnetha are superb... Try songs like The Visitors, Hole in Your Soul, Me and I, When All is Said and Done, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, The Name of The Game... I could keep going recommending.... Thank you guys!!!!
Eagle by ABBA (the long version) is a really good song that very few have reacted to. I highly recommend it.
There finest hour so to speak and that’s saying something.this is perfection.headphones on guys and gals.
Their performance at Momarkedet in 1975 is fantastic, and Agneta looked like an angel as well.
Cry, cry, cry everytime, it sooo heartbreaking 😢 I can’t understand howe her can sing it without crying. This was in -79/80. And she and he who play the guitar was in a devores, or they already was devorsed. Nd she sing that song standing beeside him, amazing.........I wich yousweet guys a wonderful good knew year..love🎄🌹🎇
ABBA...the soundtrack to my 70's childhood. So much good stuff, timeless. For fun, check out U2 (Bono once said he hated Abba) doing Dancing Queen in Stockholm, especially when they reveal two surprise guests....
I would like you to react to a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro. She is a very versatile singer who sings different musical styles with a very personal voice and with an incredible melismas and capacity of air. On this occasion I recommend you the song "El perdón" (Forgiveness).
Her marriage was breaking down with him in the group at this time ,imagine having to sing it over and over again when yours hearts broke no wonder she turned into a recluse
Nope. Fältskog has repeatedly stated that though "The Winner Takes It All" is her favorite ABBA song and that it has an excellent set of lyrics, the story is not that of her and Ulvaeus. There were no winners in their divorce, especially as children were involved.
@@Straydogger argh right ok i remember it was a very quiet affair an dit must have been awful performing with some one you werent in love with any more ,did both couples split ?
Yes, how sad. I seen the wonderfully made Documentary on ABBA, and they all describe the heartache. Merry Christmas to you!
They were already divorced when this was recorded. ..
@@Dee-wy8fn The 4 talked it through and came to the conclusion that they were fine working together professionally and still to this day there is a very close bond between the 4 who remain in touch and trust each other very much. Don’t assume to much.
Here is a great female singer from the 80's 'Pat Benatar' 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' or 'Heartbreaker'.
Her hits are great. But my favorite of hers is 'Hell is for Children,' which I never hear anymore.
'Love is a Battlefield' is another good one.
RING RING, HELLO IT'S WATERLOO. HEY THIS IS ELAINE, DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW, THAT THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL? THIS SONG JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. ABBA, PERFECT BLEND OF POP, ROCK, FOLK, REGGAE, CLASSICAL, COUNTRY, FUNK AND DISCO MUSIC, RESPECT🤩🤩🤩🤩
2 types of people those who love ABBA and those who secretly love ABBA. Greatly arranged POP music! ❤️
She’s so emotional singing the song because of her divorce at that time the song written by her husband who is in the band as they were going thru that divorce it also cause the band to drift apart read the story on it it’s very sad for such a great band
Yes and at 4:08 or so, that look Bjorn gives her tells it all
This song, that voice, it's so beautiful. I really started to get into Abba in my later years. As a teen when this came out, ABBA was not cool with my friends. I reconnected with the band when I seen "Mama Mia" on Broadway. I get it, now. So good! So emotional. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!❤
Abba were strong in the 70's not the 80's. Both girls have beautiful voices. Try Kim Carnes:"Bette Davis eyes" and "it's a heartache" by Bonnie Tyler. 2 GREAT songs.
Also Bonnie Tyler "Total Eclipse of the Heart"
What an emotional ballad. Try kisses of fire by Abba or Hole in your soul. Vocal challenges.
