I celebrated my 18th birthday at this festival. Loved Damien Rices music before then, and still do. Volcano canoe and an amazing show. Shaking his hand and telling him sir, I love your music. Come to Norway again, your show will sell out way easy!
Her name is Ingrid Olava. She is a quite well known artist in Norway. When Damien asked if someone knew the lyrics and could sing with him, Ingrid's manager raised Ingrid's hand. She thought he was going to sing another song, and she didn't know this one that well... But, as you can see, she does GREAT with a little help from mr Rice.
Ehm...I'm Lisa's biggest fan and everything, but this precious little lady kicks ass actually! What an amazing stunning event this must have been! Damien is a genius and she IS gorgeous.
she was so adorable, especially at the beginning when she was trying to enter the song and towards the end... made me smile my head off (still smiling haha)
This is just a great performance! Damien is of course brilliant, but how about Ingrid Olava? Wow! You can see how relieved Damien is when he finally finds out that Ingrid actually CAN sing.
So no one's ever going to replace Lisa. Just to make things clear before someone kills someone for saying that. But GOOSEBUMPS. I got 'em. And she's brilliant. And he IS music for me. And they got a wonderful thing going on in this video. I'd love to hear something they write and sing together.
