Your pleated shorts are super cute (love the twin-set). Love the hacked wide legged pants, and how you’ve styled them with cropped black top and blazer. I’ve also shocked myself with some RTW pieces lately, and all pieces out of my comfort zone😂. But I think they will inform my sewing from now on, like yours likely will😊.

Thanks again for a great video - you are inspirational!🌷🌷 I have been sewing pyjama shorts for my men and needed to know how to lengthen the pattern for my son who has long legs. My husband had a favourite pair that were worn out so I pulled them apart and copied the pattern before I threw them away. He loves his two new pairs of cotton shorts. I would like to know how to alter a pattern so that the front is flat and the back is elasticated..not sure if you’ve already shown this in a previous video.
"cropped" anything, has always been out of my comfort zone.... I'm 5'8" with a long inseam, and cropped has always brought me back to my teenage years where everything was too short. That's why I started sewing especially jeans and pants etc. But your last couple makes of cropped tops have inspired me to give it a go... They all look very good on you. I've got the Sinclair Harper cropped and the Aria cropped elasticated hem-band next projects... Actually the Aria is a remake that I never wear... Thought I'd copy your red one. Instead of elasticated hem-band thought I'd try couple rows of stretch thread....(The correct name escapes me right now... Im sure you know what I mean). Thanks for the inspiration.
You mean shirring :) I think I can go about 2” below my waist for cropped. I have a very short upper body so if I go to my waist, my legs look ridiculously too long.
Would this work with a basic pj pattern? I love the way it fits but would like to do a wide leg version like you did. Would I adjust by adding width to the inseam only since the side seam is straight ? Love the pant fabric looks great on you.
