2:05 omg not one but 2 Henry J gassers. My head just exploded. I'm only 47 but I used to freak out on that little glue together monogram model of the Henry J done up as a gasser, I musta built 3-4 of em. Imo one of the coolest cars to make into a gasser.
My dad drove one which he traded off in 1954 for a Plymouth. The Henry J was also sold by Sears & Roebuck as the "Allstate". My best friend purchased a retired Henry J Gasser that had the full race motor replaced with a Chrysler 300 (392 semi) and auto. Was weird riding in it as the passenger seat was a milk crate! Engine was still set-back and you drove from more or less the back seat! Ah .. high school in the 60's.
Check out my playlist if your into this type of racing...ruclips.net/p/PLTnhyrJAhjKV4b2LhgEXtC3XSUDANiy0e

Love it can't get enough of the gassers 👍👍👍
It's always nice to see a cute back up girl.

Those old cars coming out the hole👍
The Santo & Russo car was bought from a family here in NJ. It was sold 2-3 years ago. Was always a favorite to see run at Englishtown.

I am looking forward to this years event.
I'm ready for glory days 2021. Car is ready
Nice video, I would have to change the name on the one called "Daddys thing". My wife heard that and her mind went right in the gutter.
😄 Thanks!
Then you've got an awesome wife 😁👍
Wish I had a cool car like those... I'm stuck with a tri-power 66 GTO. Slow as hell and 8 miles to the gallon.
I'd drive it! 💪🇺🇸
Lol I've seen a goat or 2 built as a gasser 😁
J'adore !
I love the cars but always hated the head start given to slower cars. If you are not the baddest then you go home.
good races alright...but if the announcers trying to sound like Steve Evans it worked.
Thanks for editing out the downtime...
Unfortunately there was plenty of that. I'm hoping this year the weather cooperates 🤞
I still like it but you should show the tree, thats where its at
Might try some of that this year.
Nice video
Thanks!👊
Sweet
a lot of money in these cars , is there any money to be made in racing them????
It's all for the Glory! ✌👊
You sound like an insurance man.
This guy in the blue shirt needs to go sit in the stands, the drivers know what to do.
Sounds like Dave McClelland announcing.
Randy Simpson track announcer
