Fun trip down memory lane. I forgot how much content Extreme Studios cranked out. I also have a few copies of Tribe #1 as well and never read them either...Shame there was no Wildcats or Spawn
Comic Vantage most people only know his Moon Knight stuff but he did a lot of Image work that no one knows about. Soul Saga, Tapp, Youngblood, Black Flag, so much more PROPHET
Most people think MoonKnight 55 is the book the to get but if you look at Moon Knight 54 at the back of the book in a small circle it shows his work in pencils the cover for Moon Knight 55, haha I’m a Stephen Platt nerd lol
I like the Supreme books with the cover Artist “ Pedi “ he did two covers I think and did interiors on one with Spawn in it. Very Todd McFarlane looking
Still if you have the room for the books I guess it’s ok, just a lot of people try to get rid of books that aren’t worth anything by doing mystery boxes and some times for new collectors that are getting into the hobby it’s easy prey , anyhow 20 dollars saved every week can get you a bigger key issue in the long run ,
Maybe that’s your not everyone’s is sure bet , depends on what again you think is valuable , this is just my opinion , I rarely gamble so , I was talking mainly about image mystery box , not yours
@@ComicVantage Agreed. Sad, because the art and the characters were fantastic. As you pointed out the stories were a bit thin. Love the channel and the product reviews.
Image is the 3rd largest comic publisher...still has a lot of room to grow into that number 1 or 2 spot...plus with Image, all the creators keep the rights to their work...sounds more legit to me. Still going strong and about to break a world record. Image is doing fine.
@@danielsanchez1271 they sure are. But if you read Image books today they really all feel the same. Everyone is playing to movie studios to get their book optioned. Don't get me wrong, they have GREAT stories. But without the cohesion of a shared universe, they will never topple Marvel or DC
I did this the other day with my personal collection - opened my "Image" box. About 100 90's books. Not worth much all but it was fun! Thanks.
90's image really was just fun!
Always watching vantage thanks for sharing your videos 👍🏾🤝🏾
I appreciate that and thank you!
i have a complete maxx collection including the idw number 1's and the glow in the dark number 1.One of my all time favorites
It's an amazing run. The higher number Image issues are very tough to get!
nice Stormwatch run, if nothing else ,you have some cool books to get signed.
So very true. A ton to read as well!

Yeah I was kind of bummed by that. But it's not like I don't have a TON of both already 😆
I love the splatt art in prophet.
So do I!
Great unboxing lots of cool books
Yeah this was definitely fun!
Haha I’m commenting when I see a book I like, Stephen Platt is AWESOME! I think I have all his image books he did
His work was amazing. Made people really stand up and take notice. Too bad it was also his undoing.
And nothing wrong with that!!😆
Well worth the money you spent.
Can't argue with that!
That Brigade #12 has an add in it with Stephen Platt Art, I believe it’s a character called “ Crypt”
I loved the Crypt toy based off his artwork.

@@RedCapMan Platt did some really nice work for Marvel, after Image as well. Wolverine 310 variant, always stands out

Not a problem! Love it!
Check out Elephantmen #32 back cover! Stephen Platt goodness at its best
I'll do that!
I like the Supreme books with the cover Artist “ Pedi “ he did two covers I think and did interiors on one with Spawn in it. Very Todd McFarlane looking
I'll have to look for them!
I stay away from mystery boxes , it’s just mainly filler issues ,
Yeah these big ones are. But for 20$ id buy 100 books any day!

@@TimmyCanadianComicHunter I totally get that!
Awesome video sir
Thank you!!
Rob Liefeld collection
I really thought Image would rival the top comic universes, then it all fell apart. To bad.
Too many chef's in the kitchen as some would say. But still some amazing stories and worlds have come out of Image and are still coming out today.
