How do I... DO A HIERARCHICAL MULTIPLE REGRESSION in Jamovi? (2022)

- What if I have a theory or hypothesis that is about a change in variance explanation of my predictors variables? Can I enter them into the regression equation one at a time? Will Jamovi tell me the change in R-squared? I have the answers and more in this next episode of learning stats with Jamovi!

NOTE: My tutorials always use the latest build release from Jamovi. Some features may not be present if you are using an earlier version. Most features are similar across OSes, but check the release notes on the website download page to find further details.

Thanks a ton - your videos are very helpful! -Does Jamovi offer backward elimination and forward selection at this time?
Jamovi does not offer these function in the Lin Regression as far as I am aware. Not like SPSS. In Jamovi you can specify your model, but it won't do this back or forward stepping based on F or p criteria automatically.
@@AlexanderSwan This is good to know; perhaps a module will have it someday. Thanks for your response!
sorry can I ask what is the hypothesis here in this video. Mine is Hierarchical Multiple Regression of H. :Upon the relationship between Organizational Identification and Job Satisfaction, Affective Commitment has a positive and significant intermediary effect. Which gonna be on which part (dependent covarities etc.)
There is no hypothesis for this video; I'm merely making it up as I go along to highlight HOW to work the module in this particular way.
I'm not sure I understand how your variables work together in your comment. More information would be necessary for me to continue to assist your issue.
Can you please explain how the interactions between predictor variables work?
They’re not technically interactions unless you do a moderation, not through hierarchical regression
