I had to come back to this video. Amazed at the amount of times the fish mouth the maggots. It is also enlightening that they don't want the free offerings, but will pick up the most visible bait. Jamie Hughes speaks about baits that stand out from your feed bait. Looks like he is right. It would be interesting if shortening the hooklengths and bigger hooks brings more hook ups. We all think that when we are not catching is because the fish are not feeding. It appears that is not true. They are always feeding but being less active means we cannot see the bites.
Love your channel Adam and this time you have excelled yourself. Truly amazing how quickly the fish returned after that pike left. Keep up the good work.
I've always wanted to know what goes on river fishing on the feeder, I must say this vid was absolutely brilliant. Love they way you fine tuned the cam and the shots you got amazing, maybe you could show some more underwater vids barbel Tight lines Adam
Hi Adam, Found this one when scrolling through your vids. Fantastic footage. Am going to look for part 1 now. I wondered if a single maggot would have made them take it quicker. Barry from Essex
These three videos have been brilliant, such good footage underwater. Seeing these fish take the bait and not even register on the tip really gets you thinking. I bet it happens all the time when feeder fishing, probably float too if your dropper shot is too far from the hook.
Amazing footage mate real eye opener. Love to see if it's any different with braid, as I have been using it on the Feeder lately. And I think I see more on me tip than I do with Mono. 👍🏻 🎣 Tight lines mate
great stuff adam ,it would be good to see what difference other coloured maggots would make, also worm pinkies squats and such like ,i will look forward to the next 1 ,tightlines matey
It's curious that the pike was interested in the camera. i plopped a gopro in my local river Severn. Same thing happened. a pike came from nowhere and mouthed the camera, even though it was stationary on the bottom. I'm pretty sure that they are picking up some impulses or similar from the camera.
I’ve been thinking about buying a GoPro for some time, this has inspired me to do it. Can’t wait to see what’s beneath the surface in my local river 👍🏻
Brilliant stuff Adam... so interesting to see fish behavior and how snag free the ouse appears underwater! I don't what I'm doing wrong but I always seem to get snagged but it looks very clear down there! Can't wait for the next one pal... wonder if it could be set up with a lure trailing behind for that pike🤣
Great footage Adam. I'd be interested to see what fishing a single maggot would do? To me I think the fish knew something was wrong. with loose feed the maggots seperted and the hook bait stuck together and wriggled.
You ought to try camera on one rod set up so it's covering a good area then fish clipped up same line just down from camera with a normal rod .Good video ..
Push the maggot around the hook. It kills the maggot and stops it moving but it catches fish better when they are being finnicky. Also use SZ 22 WITH 2lb hooklength and around 12 inches of mono. Rebait every 60 seconds too.
That was a good watch.. Credit where it's due Adam!! Imagine match anglers up and down the country with that camera set-up staked down their margins waiting for the Carp to move in, combined with instant footage on a smart phone? What would they do to stop it (how would they police it?).. Ban mobile phones?
Very entertaining video well done Adam 👍 wondered if the camera might have spooked them ? but incredible the amount of times the bait was picked up and spat out without registering on the rod tip
Great content Adam!! I would love too see if a small shot an inch from the hook makes a difference. ( maybe the change in mechanics would see them hooking themselves. Similar to a carp rig pulling into the bottom lip) But I must admit that the mechanics altogether must be hard to work with when you're constantly worried about losing your camera. Lol I've been considering doing something similar on the trent for a few years to watch fish behaviour. I think I'll have too invest in the same camera as you though as I like the instant footage through the app. ( BTW, do you know how that works??) Cheers jambo.
you should start designing your own rigs, getting a chance to test them out with a live camera is something no previous angler ever got a chance to do maybe you can find a way to change how 2 maggots are hooked to give much better hookup, you could be the designer of the next big rig everyone uses for the next couple of decades - dream big
hello Im an angler to and I love feeder fishing this wideo is the most amazing thing that i have seen for a long time but can you tell me what type of fish they are im not from the uk so I wonder its quiet a lott of them
if only all the ouse was as snag free as the stretch at Queens staith haha, more bikes than halfords and more trolleys than tesco but I can't believe how many fish there are!?!?!
Great footage is it a live view back to your mobile with the GoPro app or have u done a voice over when u edited it curious because would the water stop the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal back to your mobile when u are doing a live view of the fish 🐟 in the river.I’d defo be using strong braid if your using a GoPro it’s £100 quid lost if it gets snagged up including your SD card as well.👍
What a amazing film Adam, can I ask what camera and app you used mate? Would love to try it myself, cheers!
I use the gopro app and a gopro session which are quite cheap second hand 👍
@@AdamsFishingAdventures thanks mate, didn't realise you could connect live to them. Awesome
@@AdamsFishingAdventures no wonder I pull me hair out fishing for roach n face 🤪unbelievable footage cheers mate top notch👍😎
Can we have the specific model of gopro Adam? Thanks

Superbe vidéo bravo et merci. 👍👍👏🤩🤩
Top footage Adam. Gives an amazing insight as to what goes on .on the bottom of a river .keep up the brilliant work bud .
This is brilliant, great job 🤪✌️💜
Great filming Adam, maybe a single maggot or a pinkie would have hooked you more fish?
well done.
In going to use different baits in an episode and see how the fish react
@@AdamsFishingAdventures nice 1 Adam hope you get some good footage!!
Adam try a single maggot side hooked , I seem to get more doing that.
Brilliant Brilliant just Brilliant Adam
Excellent thanks 👍
Hi
Was that amazing
That was amazing
Came across this by accident, what a good vid give you a good insight to what goes off under water.

Fantastic vid Ad, very interesting to see how fish behave and react.
You sit for ages waiting for the tip to bend around and its all going on with no visible pulls. So good this Adam
Incredible seeing the pike investigating
I have watched a few of these underwater videos of late. A big insight in what is going on and nothing like we thought.

Top video Adam, amazing insight into how they do & don't take the bait.
Great video. Was great seeing the pike. 👍👍🐟
Well done Adam, very interesting, they are very weary of the bait!
Thanks for watching 👍
Great footage,great approach and commentary.
Awesome footage m8 👍
Great video ! Thanks !

Nice video Adam that was an intensive moment with that pike lol I felt scared for your go pro 😬

Maybe You should use quite longer terminal line with smaller hook and one single maggot to catch these carefull dace.
That was class bro !! 😎 what a insight intohow many fish we could catch if we fished finer

That Pike was more interested in your cube shaped camera than most pike are interested in my many expensive lures 🤣
nice one well done

is the phone app showing live footage when the camera is underwater please?

I've spotted carp in the Foss. Have you hooked any on the ouse?
I've never actually seen a carp in a river. I've heard of carp around that area though 👍
if only all the ouse was as snag free as the stretch at Queens staith haha, more bikes than halfords and more trolleys than tesco but I can't believe how many fish there are!?!?!
Hi what underwater camera are you using there please
Did u was use also another software for record the voice as azrecorder?
the leeches on that pike.. just nuts..
Hey! What camera are you using? Thanks!
Would pinkies be better ?
❤️❤️❤️ GRAZIE ❤️❤️❤️

Halo! What is the underwater camera name? :)
Love your videos mate!! But where do u park in york? It is so bloody expensive!!
Does that cost to watch live on your mobile? Great footage that is...
We're you using a carbon tip?
Hide the hook better and use smaller hooks in these situations.
very good Adam , bet you were bricking it with your first cast with the camera on, 💩
что за камера у тебя
Do more there great maybe on the carp
Red maggots are forbidden to use in the Netherlands 😔😭
Aint u the twot that got fishing banned at redhouse lagoon?
I actually ring Yorkshire water in an episode it had nothing to do with me I also see people fishing it regularly still
Ya still a twot
