Absolutely brilliant footage and camera work Adam. I do a lot of sight fishing in NZ and I know how you feel when the fish are all over your bait, until you try it yourself you wouldn’t believe how excited you get. He has contributed a great deal to global warming by flying millions of miles to make money and now tells us we must stop flying to go on holiday. No one ever talks about the amount of rocets that space agencies send up and damage the atmosphere. Keep up your interesting videos that entertain, but do not ruin the environment.

Interesting to see how Chub test & drop the bait.
That's why I have so much difficulty hitting those fast bounce bites or 'chub pulls'.
I don't feel so bad for missing so many frustrating 'bites' now.

Nice video Adam, rare to find barbel in the N.E that you can observe and fish for, good find.
Might be worth dropping a few pints of hemp into that gravel. I’d imagine you would get some good footage of them rooting around.
