I was 12 years old at that time and I remember that my parents always love watching lots of game shows when I was growing up. I can't remember all of them and I don't recall remembering watching this episode. But again, a 12 year old kid would be having his things doing growing up.
I'm so very glad that you won and you look like you were having such a good time doing so. The other woman you played against, Denise, have you guys became friends after that and have you kept in touch over the years specially living in the same town. I'm glad God had blessed you with so much of your winnings.
@@jeanneantrim thank you for liking the comment Jeanne. Name That Tune was awesome during the late 70s when winning big money was the thing. What did you like the most about being on the show, and what did you do with your winnings besides what you said in that episode?
@@brentrogers4774 I loved making a couple friends, who I’m still in contact with to this day! The first thing we did, was to take the first $10,000 installment, and go camping in Europe for an entire year. Then we came home, got jobs, bought a house a little sooner than we would have, and had a lot more comfort than most newlyweds have. I was able to stay home for a while after our children were born, so Name That Tune gave me a lovely, comfort level. No Lamborghinis, hiding in our garage, however! Take care!
@@jeanneantrim thank you for sharing with me your Name That Tune experience, and me being a life long game show fan, it's amazing how people wanting to try and participate whether to be on TV, win a lot of money, or both. God bless you, and to Tom Kennedy and Jim Lange! 👍🎸
This was the same text that it was used for the Magnetic Video logo from 1977 through 1981, and it was used during the run of “Name That Tune” where the song title was displayed for a given answer.
Tom seemed handsy any truth? Lol Given you and Denise both lived in Fresno, did you ever run into each other at the store or movies. Love watching these shows!
Jeanne, I've done the math and calculated the value of your $10,000 a year from 1978-1988 in terms of 2016 dollars. $100,000 in 1978 was worth $368,108.90 last year, but if you factor in $10,000 a year over 10 years, you only got $283,087.58 in 2016 dollars. I know this means very little to you. Still, congratulations on your win.
Always great to see more Name That Tune pop up. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, it was a great show!

For someone to do as well as you did on this show is quite the accomplishment. A job well done.
bluebear1985 Thank you!
That is awesome! I can't imagine the experience!!
Thanks!
Wow! 1978 seems like a lifetime ago
Wow! That’s when Mickey turned 50 and when NMMC continued on!
I really love the musical part after Tom says; "You're on your way to winning $100,000!!" Good show.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the show!
Me too. I agree Mark. They played the right music for the $100,000 win.

Thanks for your kind words. Denise was, indeed, a lovely woman. She moved away shortly after winning, so we did not keep in touch.

That was only 45 Years Ago from this episode.
YAY, JEANNE!!!!! :-D :-D
+J Miller Thanks so much!
2:27 the melody of those 2 songs IS exactly the same, so, UNFAIR !
$10,000 must have brought a lot in 1978, huh Jeanne. You were great here.
rodney1279 Thanks! That first $10,000 took us to Europe for a year-long camping trip before settling down to reality.
+buzzguy72 Thank you. She is a classy lady, and traded in her three cars for a Datsun Sports car!
I'm curious where NTT with Tom Kennedy aired in Fresno-- channel 47, maybe? I know it had Jim Lange's version in the 80s.
A classic!
+Chris Frat Thank you!
The $10,000 Pyramid
The remix of "The Twist" @ 4:58!
2 'so close' Beatles songs @ 3:22 while 1 of them is right!

TOM KENNEDY GREAT HOST
This episode got me high.
Wow!
Was the money in the first round real? Always wondered.
+Don Christopherson Yes, it was AMAZING to hold $1000, but when the commercial came, we returned it. They paid us after it was all over.
Thanks for the kind words!
Jeanne was not a good sport!
