CHEAPEST fishing reel on Temu!!

- This is the cheapest baitcasting reel I could find on Temu!! For $6 and some change there isn’t anything more I could ask of a reel! It doesn’t compare to the higher end brand names, but it doesn’t carry their price tag either! Towards the end of the day the thumb bar did have some issues with not engaging every time, but for the price what can you expect. A very cheap option to look at if you are wanting another cheap set up!

Nice video. I just purchased a reel with line counter carbon fiber rod (comparing offerup/cl deals with Temu). I can't wait to try it out. But you got me thinking on getting some other reels for the family. Thanks!

The rod is a Duckett Green Ghost, that wasn’t from Temu. The reel was Ryobi and I think they are still on Temu for $8ish.
You got backlash because you didn't adjust the tension knob throughly, this reel is not the same as the decent one, you need to adjust the tension knob to the point that the lure won't fall, and cast it see it will not backlash. I never had a problem with this reel.
They are actually pretty good reels for the price. How much did you pay for your boat? Looking at getting something soon
I bought it years ago for$800 at Cabelas and last I looked they hadn’t changed much in price. There is an 8’ model that is a little cheaper also. If you are interested I do have a video on RUclips for an option to help protect the bottom a little so it lasts longer. They are a really nice little boat!
For $6 it's workable for sure! I have the $12 10.1.1. Ratio arriving monday to test myself lol

My opinion is in the description also, but I would say it’s an ok reel. There is a cost associated with everything and if I would have gotten this for $50 I would be pretty disappointed. But for $6 I can’t ask for much more. It hasn’t broken on me yet and I have used it in the video and even a few days after the video. I wouldn’t think it would last a full season of heavy use, but you never know. Hope you had a good experience with your reel also!

Please educate yourself on fishing line. The line you're using is for trolling, the colors let you know how far out the bait is. Kids know days, oh look colors!

Did you get the rod from there.
I didn’t get a rod from there. The cheap options all looked like very light action and were multi piece or telescoping. Not ideal for the baits I bought 😂
