    Wow Russ! Thank you for following through on this .. I'm glad I waited before surgery on my board..

    Just changed the rear bushing without removing the deck. Instead I desoldered the wires and isolated them during the change. Some new chrimp tube and solder the wires back to the connector. Done.

    You can get around removing the grip tape easily. You just have to make small cuts just over the top of the screws to expose them slightly. You can then stick the small amount of raised grip tape with a bit of pressure and it stays down and doesn't look too noticeable. I might post this on the Endeavor page with pictures so it makes sense.

    Definitely a massive design oversight, but the people at Propel are forward thinkers and I’m sure improvements will be made going forward.

    Super appreciative of your videos, it's awesome that you do this. Just ordered the Endeavor Pro 2, and although the Bushings are much easier to access with the new Pro 2, I'm mega grateful for a channel like this existing for us newcomers.
    Is it recommended to just replace the front Bushing, or both? A video was saying the soft Bushings (white) are incredible for carving/mobility. Side note, would love to see a video on adjusting the turning force - example, should we make the back tighter than the front, and how do we make the left and right sides even. Cheers!

    A relief needs to be made on the bushing so that you don't need to remove the button wiring.

      Removing all the grip tape every time you want to change a bushing seems like an oversight by the engineers.

      @@fortystories7748 Endeavor wasnt originally designed to have the bushings removed. Riders wanted more durometers so we made them but you are correct, the board was not engineered to have the bushings swap-able but future models will be. Future bushings will also come pre-drilled for the rear.
      The grip tape design was very specific, we wanted to cover all the screw heads and still have it look cool.
      Deck only has to come off for the rear bushing.

    • @FreshMntAir
      @FreshMntAir 2 года назад +1

      Yep exactly. Perhaps a notch out of the base of the bushing instead of a hole. That way the bushing sits over top the wires instead of through. That would allow you to swap bushings simple by dropping the suspension. I plan to use this method when my bushings arrive. I'll post the results.

      @@propelvirtualgarage963 Exciting stuff! I was worried when I saw this surgery tutorial just for a bushings swap.... Will one of these 'future models' be available to buy this year?

    Changing the bushings to the white ones (im 72kg) was a real game changer for me... The boards turning radius with the stock bushings was abysmal, and i was disappointed with my purchase... But i guess iwas just too light...But with the white ones 🥳🥳🤩(haven't tried the greys), it turns great, its carvy and still very stable at speed. They should ship them stock with softer bushings imo.

    Russ, I suggest using a higher quality camera set up and getting one of the lads on Facebook to help with the editing. You don’t have to take on the entire burden by yourself. We are here to help!

    Not criticizing the tutorial which is well made and clear, but the design of the board clearly didn't take into consideration the fact that people might want to change bushings. Having to remove the grip tape? Disconnect cables from a clip? Drill hole in the bushing?? Seems like a lot for a minor adjustment on a board.

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад +2

      Thats correct. When we designed Endeavor, we had not planned to introduce 2 more bushing durometers. The riders spoke, we listened and here we are. This feature will be engineered slightly different on future models, making the task much less involved

      @@propelvirtualgarage963 thanks for the answer.
      Do you have any estimate to give for when an update can be expected?
      Would this include a repositioning of the antenna?
      Not asking for a deadline of course, but just to get a rough idea.

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад

      Its actually a pretty major adjustment. Once you find the bushing color or combo you like, you also have all the adjustment in the turning tensioners to dial it in with so essentially, once you find the right bushing or busing combo for you, you shouldnt have to switch them again.

    • @propelvirtualgarage963
      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 года назад

      Its as simple as locating the holes (I can send you a picture) There are 2 straight lines of 6 holes on each line. They are all located near a corner of the grip, just peel back that corners and remove screws.

    Great tutorial on the rear bushing. Quick question when removing the deck primarily the grip tape will it still be sticky enough that it won’t start to just peel off by itself or do you need to add some kind of adhesive when reapplying?

    • @propelvirtualgarage963

      Depends how careful you are. My personal board has had the deck off half a dozen times and its just about ready to be replaced, some corners are lifting now.
