Your wife has a great taste of music, that´s for sure 😋 Yes, Band-Maid is unique and IMO the best band at the moment. I am always surprised how they are able to remember all these different sections in one song alone... And they are playing 23 songs on liveshows, so many pace-changes, riffs, intros, outros, solos and they even go a step further and adding things there on the fly on stage. It´s wild... At 13th december was an online liveshow and they presented a new song, but also they played an complete new bass intro from MISA for another song! EVERYONE in the chat was like: OMG! A new song from the album again! and after that 10-15 secs intro you realized it´s an old song from them "Alone"! Always improving, always changing, always surpising... Can´t think of any band that does this or has done this before and i am going on concerts, festivals since 20 years! For me: One of a kind and just next level, especially LIVE!

It's interesting because your evolution with the band mirrors the same that many (if not most) of us had when starting out with Band-Maid: first there's the shock and awe phase, and that's great but you can say that about a lot of bands. But then the next phase is where you start to really appreciate the enormous instrumental and compositional chops these ladies have.
You have, as of my viewing, 611 likes, and zero dislikes for your reaction. That says a lot IMHO, that you really are an excellent reactor with insightful and intelligent commentary. Really enjoy how you approach these, and I look forward to learning more about music "behind the instruments" each time I watch.
I like how you picked up on how beautiful the three tone feedback is at the end of the solo. It's definitely a high point for me. Most reactors hear it but don't directly comment on it. Mind you, there is a heck of a lot going on in this song.
You are truly becoming a MAIDIAC! It's not about the shock value - it's all about the music and the talent that they have. The complexity that makes it sound like a simple song. They didn't have to put all that extra stuff into the song - BUT THEY DO!!!!

Love their transitions. Whatever weird and amazing fills and riffs they're using, they can weave the whole lot together with those transitions.
