Awesome keep it up hope you got opener in 1999 or 98 vs KC an OAK respectively those starts set tone each year for how it was gonna be for Pedro and Sox . Keep it up
Everytime Pedro pitched against the Mariners, he always pitched gems against them. Pedro OWNED the Mariners, even with their amazing lineup of Griffey, Edgar, Arod, Buhner, Ichiro, etc
WOW!! Talk about nostalgia!! I grew up 8 miles from Fenway, it’s amazing how much has changed over the years. I never used to miss a game, my and my grandpa used to watch them, I was 12 back then and now I’m 35 and as a 100% disabled combat veteran the only sport I can support are the B’s and hockey! I won’t go into politics but I’m sure you can figure out why....THANK YOU FOR THESE! DAMN I MISS THESE DAYS!!
This is awesome, I remember this game well and this series. Would love to see the april 12 game if possible, it was the most wild live sporting experience I remember.
Pedro went 19-7 with a 163 ERA+ that season, which seems great..but then you realize that his ERA+ was 265 the following 2 seasons, and it seems like an 'off' year.
One day after the Mariners bullpen had an all time 9th inning meltdown and giving up the walk off slam to Mo Vaughn, now Seattle has to face Pedro. Talk about a double whammy
Home plate umpire John Shulock always looked like he would rather be anywhere but the ballpark and at no point was his disinterest more obvious than his posture at 10:25
So strange seeing Fenway without the monster seats and right field box seats. The park is so bare compared to today.
Thank u for this classic appreciate u
I was at this game. Also, wow, what a throwback...channel 68. Also...again...Remy lookin so young. R.I.P.
Was there that day.....Pedro GOAT Red Sox pitcher

22:35 nice play by Nomahhhh'!
I don’t know what Seattle’s franchise record is at Fenway, but I would bet it’s the lowest win % of any other ballpark
I miss the seatless monster
Also, Pedro has the best changeup ever

Yeah I cant even explain how much I hate his half hearted strike calls here
