It’s one of those films where there’s so much happening in the background and foreground, it’s easy to miss bits. I think this is what makes the film so re-watchable 👍

Wow this movie holds so many memories for me, my childhood friend and I used to watch this endlessly on DVD in his basement and rewind the jokes. Watching it again shows how many things we missed tho, never noticed the “oh big one” at 2:17 for example.
It's the little stuff you never notice at first. For instance, at 1:43 there's insulation, plywood, drywall mud, and a stapler... none of which would be used at the temple.
The world ended in 2000, like all of the crazy people predicted. The world was less serious back then; you could laugh at Saddam. I hope someday I can party like it was 1999.
I hate when people say that because it's true and I get depressed. The world today is just so boring and we only have Amy Schumer and Kevin Hart for comedy.
I dated a girl who told me her last date took her to see this movie. She was highly offended by it (her words). The guy had a blast. This was 30 years ago or more. I should have dropped her ass off at the nearest bus stop....or to a Cathy Griffin show.
Imagine releasing this movie in 2022. All hell will break loose to what they are doing to the monk. I hope to see such kind of parody movie with such carefree comedy scene in present time.
